- Pigs, both wild and domesticated, have been central to many significant cultural and ecological events and trends in Kaimere. Although many other animals were both independently domesticated on Kaimere or brought from Earth, none can claim the impact that pigs have forged.

There’s an audio issue at around the 10 minute mark because I didn’t proof the audio before uploading to TH-cam. It’s just a stumbled sentence and then repeated for clarity. That’s what I get for rushing 💀
Don't worry ! Theses kind of things happen to everyone time to time !
I’m dyslexic and my raw audio is riddled with these sorts of errors. Think of it as a peak behind the curtain lol
@@TalesofKaimere My poor ! I understand you, one time, I see a documentary who show to normal people how the dyslexic see texts and their situation, who can be variable, is very difficult !
But you msut be very courageous to make and describe an entire worldbuilding project under this state, because you must read a lot of text to explain all the things we should learn ! You have all my respects !
@@dudotolivier6363 Thank you! Gotta do what excites you, not what's easy.
@@TalesofKaimere is there any Lemur or Armadillo on kaimere?
“Pig man is sus” IM DYING LMAO
I love how the boar gets flung it’s kinda funny! Love the vid btw!
He had it coming
@@TalesofKaimere ominous message.
I like the fact that you precise that the Entelodont order aren't in fact related to the Suidae family and their similars caracterictics and ressemblances betwwen the two groups are the result of a convergent evolution, that give to the entelodont a pig look but in predator mode ! I like a lot theses monstrous beast from an others age, related to the hippos, cetaceans and the Andrewsarchus (by the way, is there Andrewsarchus on Kaimere ?) because their was carnivorous ongulate and really bloodthirties and hightly agressive without any thoughts beast !
In fact, the history of the common boars on Kaimere is very identical on Kaimere on what his story through the age on earth is. Same thing for the apparition and creation of his domestic pig form. Same evolution same behaviors, and same problems than on earth ! This lifeform is so perfect and adaptable that she dosen't need to change or making anything different despite all the differents contexts and place ! Truly impressive and terrific in the same time!
In one line : "They are to the lands that the hippos are to the swamps !"
Fantastic video! As strange as it may sound the native domesticated animals of Kaimere are one the most interesting aspects of the world at least to me.
Would love a video on the domesticated Kaimeran animals!
The enteledonts in Kaimere are something else...
They were already something on our planet but shit in Kaimere....
Here, we speak in this video about the boars (sus scrofa), their domesticated form and the Pecarry. But are there on Kaimere other Suidae species like :
- some warthogs species (modern warthog and or extinct representatives like the unicorn-like kubanochoerus or the giant warthog Metriochoerus) ?
- some
babirusas species (from the indonesian island archipelago like the Celebes) ?
- some
bushpigs species (like the Potamochoerus porcus aka the red river hog) ?
- or even some dwarf boar species (like the cute Porcula salvania) ?
- and other specie from the Sus genus (like Sus barbatus, Sus philippensis or Sus ahoenobarbus) ?
Because the Suidae family is really a big and prolific family !
I was wondering about the egg eating boars from the badger video i think? Who were responsible for the hatred of dinosaurs towards mammals. Excited to know more about them now!
"The Corona virus that continues to this day".........so I have yet to view the humanoid aspects of Kaimere yet, I'm assuming everything on Kaimere hates us XD
Lol they sure don’t trust us between all the plagues and wars
@@TalesofKaimere I can't say I blame them lmao, does the ecosystem on Kaimere realize we're pretty bad news, or does everything else just think we're weaker Kaimereans, therefore not being threats to them
@@TalesofKaimere, I think if the humans found out these "Kaimerian" people slave them and called them pest, they will get "democracy" and get salvage by many "Allahu Akbar" mode, I think the Kaimerians will be wipe out to extinction while the humans genetically ressurict the Trex by combining the Megaraptorian DNA into an Chicken embryo.
@@BobBob-tr7wi, I think that they think Humans are deadly, they think it is better to be not immune from being turned into vampire than dying from deseases.
@@BobBob-tr7wi, I think the Kaimerians didn't realize the Eastern Humans are Homo sapiens sapiens that they didn't want to meet because of deseases.
It isn't true domestication until the megaraptorans start purposefully breeding the dromies for certain traits, or at least creating a selective pressure for certain traits.
This is what defines domestication over taming.
Literally any ecosystem: *exists*
Boars: It's free real state
I love the swine/peccaries, they are always so cool and fun!
It's cool to see that there Peccary on kaimere ! The Pecarry are from the Tayassuidae family, the sister family of the Suidae family, that include all the current real boars and pigs. The two family are include in the suborder Suina (himself include in the Suoidea superorder).
The Peccarry and their domesticated forms on Kaimere show in this video descend from extinct representatives on earth harvested from the Oligocene era. But are there at least one of the three current specie of normal modern Pecarry on kaimere (Catagonus wagneri aka the Chaco's peccary or Tayassu pecari aka the white-lipped peccary or the most well know of them, the Collared peccary aka Pecari tajacu) ?
Because theses species are hightly well adaptive creatures and was already alive when the portal harvested the South Amrica fauna during the great fauna interchange between the North and South America !
10:10 witches on Kaimere are very pretty
Once again, love the music choice! Just don't eat too much today. You don't want to make a "pig" of yourself!
A lot of worldbuilding authors create cultures that closely resemble their own view of a morally ideal culture, which is pretty unrealistic considering everything from history. You, on the other hand, give your fictional cultures so much variety as well as some morally questionable practices and beliefs, which is great because it makes challenging obstacles as well as being realistic. Also, I love the animal heads on the front of the ships.
7:00 about hybridisation. A general trend on earth. Hybrids of mammals are more difficult to create and even more for fertile ofspring. (females more likely to be fertile)
However bird species are very easy to hybridise. And a lot produce fertile males (or fertile ofspring of both)

I lost it at "the coronavirus which continue to this day" EVEN KAIMERE ISNT SAFE! As I sit here 18 days positive since 4/19/2022. And I wear a mask at work everyday and wash my hands almost every 10 minutes, still caught it OVER TWO YEARS after the start of this! Lmao Kaimere got the rona
Haha they haven’t gotten it because they’re paranoid and not letting anyone in
🐷🐗😻❤👍😍 simply Marvelous! I love your Kaimere Bestiary videos! And they inusual humanoid civilizations and his lore!
Considering that peccaries have a more herbivorous diet than boars do, it makes sense that they were able to live more peacefully with dinosaurs. It also makes sense that predators would prefer boars over peccaries because of this difference in diet. Great video. It was nice to see peccaries getting some attention.
Has the introduction of the boar affected how dinosaurs view peccaries, or has it remained the same?
Unfortunately peccaries are often innocent victims in titanosaur and parksosaur attacks
@@TalesofKaimere Are there on Kaimere more recent modern species of Pecarries, like the famous Collared Peccary (Pecari tajacu) or the white-Lipp Peccary (Tayassu pecari), from potentially the harvested from the South America during the Great Interchange with the North America ?
Crazy to hear modern events in kaimere
This is all very fascinating stuff.
Thanks!
@@TalesofKaimere You're welcome.
It is always pretty unfortunate when the fact that this whole world is hidden from people of earth forever is brought up. Other than that this was a pretty cool video and I like your great detail in your societies, it’s something I strive for in my own stories
mad respect to whoever lives on the Eastern Continent for putting up with the fact that the Bokodu exists
well those mfs have to live with uktans, ghlanos, titans, deinotheriums and cockatrices, sooo... having a massive predatory pig is just another tuesday for those guys
The freeze moment at 7:09 show the limits to speak in direct when you play and change the differents screenshots during all the entire videos...
Haven't you already thought about, why not, save different text explanation recordings?
That is to say, during a screenshot, explain all the text supposed to be said during this screenshot, then stop recording when you have finished and you move on to another screenshot, and start again so on. Then, once all the recordings that needed to be done are done, you compile them into a single video!
This way, it would avoid suddenly creating cold and freezes in the middle of your speech when you say a mistake or you misread and you have to correct yourself live.
No the issue is in the audio. I just didn’t edit it thoroughly. I just didn’t proof listen because I was rushing that’s all.
@@TalesofKaimere Whether it's that or something else, like what I said, it doesn't change anything in that this error is not very serious and does not change the good and decent quality of the video !
it's intersting to see and learn that there were some pandemic incident somewhere in the past of the history of Kaimere. And you see that they appears and start exactly like the ones of earths ! Kaimere It may well be another planet with a lot of very different things in terms of evolution or context, but we find there exactly the same processes as on earth and which make life every day ! It's yet obvious that to avoid diseases spread and dispaersion that the animals and stuff we transport must be clean and check seriously very often, that include to respect importants sanitary laws and rules !
It's interesting to learn that the Kaimerans were less good than today in term of human right since they make slavery with humans and theses latter were really in a bad situation (plus to be injustly accused like the pangolin on earth to spread disease since the reals vectors were the pigs and others animals).
And it's good to see that this thing is no more
practice by today's Kaimeran.
But where the enslaved human came from ? And what happen to them ?
Enslaved humans came from the Mediterranean and Americas with trade from the Greeks, Egyptians, and Olmecs. Most enslaved humans were killed during the plague. A few are still kept in the Free States, and are basically an ethnic group of their own after millennia of being kept from Earth
@@TalesofKaimere I never know that there were Greek, Egyptians and Olmec on Kaimere ! How is even possible by the way ?
And so, there normal human on Kaimere alongside the Kaimerans, but their number is very little.... that sad !
Would be amazing if there's an open world survival game set in Kaimere
Would be very cool!
10:50 It’s funny because the genus name for pigs is Sus
This surprise me as the 30th video on the animals of kaimere I expected to on another animal clade but this video is well done, great work keenan. Now I wonder if me and my family are gonna have porkchop tonight?
Great video , could you tell me if there will be other animals like giraffes , zebras or quaggas , elephants , wildebeests , antelopes , rhinos , sea turtles , modern birds and other types of animals ?
There's a video on elephants and rhinos already, I know there's a black wildebeest and some antelopes as well.
Check the previous videos for almost all of those questions to be answered
@@EATONWILDGAMING Thank you , other interesting animals are the pink river dolphin and the mola mola fish .
@@parkrangerdave Ok thanks
Good to know that even in Kiamere I can still find some delicious bacon on my burgers.
Absolutely
@@TalesofKaimere I wonder if the peccary’s meat would have a different taste to it than a boar descended pig
@@stephenlamb6005 Almost certainly. A bit leaner on average and their flavor is influenced by their diet. As peccaries tend to be more herbivorous the wild ones tend to taste pretty different, but a boar pig and peccary pig raised on the same diet are going to taste quite similar.
@@TalesofKaimere Interesting, I’m sure that if Peccary pigs where traded with earth they would be hailed as the new healthy alternative to regular pork
So on Kaimere, there at least 5 specie of Entelodont ! The most well know beeing, of course, the Na'haset ! But recently, from your twitter account, you revealed that there are a second speice of Na'haset, or a close specie or a simple form of this later, who is striped like the current striped hyena than spotted like the actual Na'haset of the Know World (this later having obtain spots and similar colors from the common hyena from earth during the little time this hyena specie was on kaimere before going extinct), and you name this striped entelodont a cursorial entelodont ? This new striped entelodon form lived in the Eastern Continent ?
I ask this because it's still confusing for me.
But you really done well his design ! I love the striped pattern mixing with the black and grey colors !
Thank you! Entelodonts will get their own video, and I will cover their diversity then. Only the striped one is still found in the known world, others are on the Eastern continent where they are one of the dominant omnivores (occupying the niches that bears do on Earth, with some predators and some herbivores but most in the middle)
Awesome! Id love to see a cave lion try to take down a mighty highland boar! That and the War Hog is badass! Who do you think would win? The war hog or war lion?
Generally I'd bet on the lion. Even if both are in the same weight class, cats are so specialized for grappling and restraint that I'd put my money on them. It wouldn't be an easy fight and sometimes the hog would take the win but usually I'd expect the lion to take the victory.
@@TalesofKaimere Yeah. That makes sense.
Question
How would you feel if I made a entelodont adapted/evolved to fit the role of a polar bear
Go for it! I think it would be really cool

Most of its fur has adapted to translucent but there are some black spots on it and the skin it black it keep warm along with its fur coat

Are there another species of Peccaries in the Known World aside from one shown in the video?
Domesticated peccaries are great idea! Are peccaries and boars the only species of pigs on Kaimere or are there others like babirusas?
They’re the only domesticated pigs. May have one or two more rare species but the boar has outcompeted most wherever they go. Common peccary is the only other common piglike animal in the known world
@@TalesofKaimere Are there on Kaimere, mostly oustside the borders of the Know World, other Suidae species like :
- some warthogs species (modern warthog and or extinct representatives like the unicorn-like kubanochoerus or the giant warthog Metriochoerus) ?
- some babirusas species (from the indonesian island archipelago like the Celebes) ?

- or even some dwarf boar species (like the cute Porcula salvania) ?
- and other specie from the Sus genus (like Sus barbatus, Sus philippensis or Sus ahoenobarbus) ?
Because the Suidae family is really a big and prolific family !
And the Warthogs, Babirusas, the bushpigs and the dwarf boar are all specie who, despite the appearances, are more specialize and have sightly differences in their ecological niche compared to the Sus scrofa specie and pigs !
My favorite ones are the babirusa, red hog river bushpig and the little dawf boar !
A question are some kaimerens also part of assembly as well
Yes. It’s a human organization but there are some Kaimerans in it
Vid on duck's geese and swans of kaimere
And also piggy's
I see why Mammals didn't dominate during Mezioc Era in the First Place, because dinosaurs kill them because they eat some eggs.
Gotta play defense
The hate of the dinosaurs against the mammals touch mainly the predators or the egg eaters like the Dire Badger or the Boars, since the others mammals like the deers are in general accepted by the dinosaurs (the herbivores of course), since most of the mammals are to small or are in general specialize to hunt mainly the others mammals to be a real treat to most of the dinos and make the hate from theses latter pertinent to exist.
So here, we can assume that the hate of the dinos is a targeted hate to specific mammals species, the some ones who can be a danger to them by attacking directly their reproduction process. In one term : eating the dinos eggs ! The crucial foundations of their existence and survival !
It’s targeted aggression, but a lot of innocent mammals get caught in the carnage.
@@TalesofKaimere Yes, mostly the peccaries species and some mustelidae specie who ressemble closely the Dire Badger. Altrought, the Dinos (mostly the theropods, sauropods and Parkosaurs) may have developed a hatred that specifically targets the species that attack their eggs, mainly wild boars and the Dire Badger, the limit and weakness of this hatred, that has become embedded in their instincts, is that it affects all the others targets who physically ressemble them too much from afar and unfortunately confuse them while theses innocent victims do and never do them any harm of any kind in one way or another.
So yes, it's logic and understandable that most of the innocent mammals who are kill by misstake by the dinos are peccares and mustelidae, like you explain it to Red Lycan a little further down in the comments.
Was the war pigs colorations just random or was it based on something? I kinda see a similarity to the breed of pig Napoleon was in the live action animal farm movie, and in that movie he was kinda war/violence oriented so.. a clever easter egg perhaps?
I haven’t seen the film but that would have been a wild hide of an Easter egg. Nah it’s not really based on any particular breed.
How are the modern populations of Qajarith lions and wild peccaries?
Both are alright, but were hit hard by organized culls and some farmers, although some Qajarith (particularly northern and western farmers) love alongside them more successfully (with a mix of scent and sound deterrences)
What do you use to make your videos and what do you use to record your voice for these?
I do everything on Movavi: Video Editor. My Mac is too old for the current Apple Video. It's a good system (if having a few issues here and there) and is pretty user friendly. The audio problems towards the end here are all on me.
@@TalesofKaimere oh alright and here’s a question for your world. You know when a bunch of wilderbeast and zebra come together in a massive herd. Dose that happen in kaimere? If so, how common is that
"blame the enslaved" - yeah, Kaimerans are humans, after all. my species disappoints me.
Actually, Kaimerans are their own species since they have long lifespans; pointed ears; smaller size; and using magic since they are elves.
Are there any domesticated cattle in kaimere?
There are indeed!
@@TalesofKaimere descendant of aurochs or kaimeran cattle?
Wait how do they know about earth and why do they think we would know anything about them? They are in a completely different solar system!
I would imagine that their "dogs" would be domesticated "pigs", ankylosaurs, and domesticated versions of those small hippos. Hounds exist but when it comes to companionship and protection these creatures would be just as good and well placed in that niche.
I’ll be getting more into how they know so much about us in the next two episodes, which will be on the portals
So warthogs and babirusa were never harvested?
Warthogs were. Babirusa didn’t make it to modern times if they were harvested
