I think one of the biggest problem with todays dating scene is the fear of missing out. We’re a goal oriented society and find it difficult to just relax and be comfortable. Because SoCal media continues to tell us that there’s more out there. There’s more opportunities, more possibilities, more challenges.
This is why it's so important to have other men orbiting around you because then you won't be so fixated on just one person. Do not be completely monogamous until you are married. I've got to mention sports guys again. They just take too much time. You go to the game, and then another game and another... They then want you to come up and talk to them. There's too many distractions. So I agree with Elliott, the GUY has got to put in the effort. Just going to the game/texting just doesn't count. He's right. I think a good way to talk about our "value" is to clarify that its what HE values, or more clearly that means WHAT HE WANTS! Elliot said it in a way. For example, if we as a woman want children, and he doesn't or cannot, then WE wouldn't consider him to have an ASSET that we need or want. THAT would be a LIABILITY. I've got to mention sports guys again. They just take too much time. You go to the game, and then another game and another... They then want you to come up and talk to them. There's too many distractions. So I agree with Elliott, the GUY has got to put in the effort. Just going to the game/texting just doesn't count. He's right. Make it clear that there needs to be a data in there somewhere and that the talk about a relationship needs to go on early. I swear sometimes guys are clueless; you have to have THE discussion with thtem.
I think a good way to talk about our "value" is to clarify that its what HE values, or more clearly that means WHAT HE WANTS! Elliot said it in a way. For example, if we as a woman want children, and he doesn't or cannot, then WE wouldn't consider him to have an ASSET that we need or want. THAT would be a LIABILITY. That doesn't mean he, as a man has no value, he just has no value to us because he cannot fulfill that need. That's just incompatibility. We all (men and women) have these needs and wants (assets) that we value. I hope that made sense.

I think he broke up with me because of the 1st reason. He had high expectations of this relationship because we got together without having seen each other yet and when we did (after 1,5 years), he compared the way I was texting him and the way I acted in real life and he told me that I'm not the kind of girl he wants to be with. But he's in love with the girl he texted with all those months and I am that girl, but when we met each other in real life I was shy at first and when I started expressing my feelings more easily like the girl he was texting with, it was the time for him to leave because it was an ldr relationship. I do no contact to him right now. I think he will take his time to think about it alone now. I think it's unfair to break up with me so easily because he tried so hard with his exes...and I think we are made for each other.
