When i was stationed in Hawaii and then Guam, i gained 25lbs so quick trying to keep up with the Islanders and their way of eating. When I was younger I thought it was literally the greatest thing in the world, now that I'm older, it is so crazy to me that so many eat like this every day. Them are some big boys out there and if you have ever watched them play American football, you know exactly what I mean. Literal gentle giants!

I agree I’m not into the burnt, er, I mean caramelised cheesecake. When my wife fries fish and burns it, er, I mean makes blackened fish I’m not to fond of that either.

It's actually not sushi! It's Korean kimbap or sometimes spelled gimbap. Definitely inspired by sushi, but not the same thing and isn't made the same way. 😊
