Man... even on a video like this you guys do such an amazing job with your camera angles. I know most people won't notice, but I sure do. You guys are artists.
That was so satisfying. Even as an audience. Showing how hard y'all had to work for it really amplified the. satisfaction from the result. Awesome video!
I think i have a little tears in my eyes when the car started up, wow what a miracle and I don't even know Adam or Ben. How passionate and dedicated you need to be to accomplish just this one step. Amazing!! will continue to watch all of your videos. Great work!
Ready for a update! Glad to see someone picking up where the car was left. I hope if anything ever happens to me that someone would pick up my wrx and finish it. That would be sweet. Almost as even if you go your project lives on.
I really enjoy this series because of how hands on it is. Also its nice to see someone struggle a little because of lack of knowledge. Having to research, diagnose, and troubleshoot is a major part of most projects and its something that is often glossed over in other shows/videos. Great job! Its a cool car and I'll be waiting patiently for the next update.
The ups and downs of building personal cars is vary stressful but all worth it if you can just get through all the stress and hard work "Every car iv ever built" Love the videos keep it up!!
I love that your finishing this build there is so much potential in the car sure it has its obstacles and it's gonna be a journey but hey that's the thrill about building a car can't to see how this build turns out major respect!
Finally back to the Subaru 👍 so curious what is up with this car. So cool how your learning more and more about the car and it's history. Your doing a good thing here. Don't get discouraged and remember your motivation for this build. He is watching you guys now from above and is smiling from ear to ear. 👍
The super blue was banned because people confused it for washer fluid. Its funny i bought a similar project at the end of 2016 that had sat for 3 years. An 04 wrx wagon with a 6 speed swap. Im waiting on the brembos at the machine shop and will be getting it back on the road shortly. The car had the ate super blue in it when i took the brembos off haha.
It was used to see when old fluid was totally flushed. I used ATE super blue and there was a gold fluid as well . I flushed my 02 wrx between track days. Love this video series.
converted a legacy wagon with a jdm engine and now almost 2 years might be able to run her.Found out that the wire going to the fuel injector was faulty.Hope to see yours running as well! Cheers!
I’m soo happy for you man. I hope the guy that had it before is watching this is an unreal build. Can’t wait for the next video and I hope you can run that beast. Best of luck👍👍
Just fired up my own 72 Volvo 140 on Christmas Day! I think it was running on three cylinders, but the car is so simple, figuring out the issue is trivial, unlike issues with this car unfortunately! Regardless, this is an awesome car, and I wish you the best of luck!
Check the rods, compression, plug condition, plug wire condition, valve timing, ignition timing, replace the oil pump, clean any gunk out of the crank case, make sure it isn't detonating.
I had the same problem with the steering column gasket when I did my heater core in my outback I couldn’t ever get it all the way back in but most of the way in seemed okay after that!
yesssss! been waiting for this to upload. Just recently fell involve with the LGT Wagon and it was perfect timing that I also came across your channel's series. So awesome, it gets me exited just thinking about having one! Also by far the best CAR channel on youtube. Content, quality and quantity 10/10 in my opinion. Im not really much of a car guy, but man I look forward to watching your videos, definitely taps into my passion for people - learning a lot about the car community and the peoples stories, it's definitely he best part about this whole channel . Have an awesome Christmas guys, God bless and thank you for sharing such great and warm content :D
If it was me...and I know you don't want to hear this but I would have tore this thing down the the shell again. I would have made sure there was still no mold or mice, second skinned the entire interior. Possibly painted the car (or a major buff job), double checked all the electronics slowly, reinstalled everything and possibly dropped the pan on the engine to check the crank and bearings. But I love the wagon. I just did what I described to a Saab 9-5 wagon.
Looking forward to seeing how much you have done on your next video! I own a 2003 BP5 Legacy GT-B JDM, its a 5AT but wanting to change it out to a 6speed one day.... Would love to know how the previous owner managed to marry it all together!!
Man I love these videos! I've done some project and I know how hard is to get the engine to fire sometimes with electrical problems. Greetings from Costa Rica!
What that guy put in there is something I'd love to do with my 01 outback wagon. I wish the open deck ej25's weren't so difficult to make power out of.
Great project! A lot of work! When is part 4 coming out? Or this is too much money/issues to keep going with and being shut down? Soon it’ll be a full year since this pt3 episode.
Gears and Gasoline my buddy put the old gas all in a bucket then lit it on fire to see if it would still burn, ended up making a small fireball in our garage. This is what not to do. Imo if you live outside city limits, burn it on a burn pile or something. Just dont do so in a garage hehe.
sounds like turbo bearings? Or just lack of oil lubrication at startup. Let it run at bit longer, i have this problem when it sits for long time sounds like crap for the first min.
I love this series so much.
Ende Gelaende i love you more tho ;)
Man... even on a video like this you guys do such an amazing job with your camera angles. I know most people won't notice, but I sure do. You guys are artists.
That feeling you get when you finally figure out an issue... 1 of the best feelings in the world for a guy!
That was so satisfying. Even as an audience. Showing how hard y'all had to work for it really amplified the. satisfaction from the result. Awesome video!

The video was excellent. It showed the struggle of fixing cars. The stuff you see on tv makes working on project cars seem so easy.
Awesome car. Hope you get it running smoothly. I'd love to get my OBXT 5MT on that build path.
Any updates on this project?
I think he put a post on Instagram saying he gave up and sold it
@@Konigstiger222 that sucks. Love this body style/color
Issues with the title of the car, in other words the car was "untitleable." I think then he stripped the car and put everything into his now forester.
I was wondering what happened to the project as well..
RIP Leggy

This project is looking awesome, cool to see what the actual work in building a car is: one problem at a time.
Ready for a update! Glad to see someone picking up where the car was left. I hope if anything ever happens to me that someone would pick up my wrx and finish it. That would be sweet. Almost as even if you go your project lives on.

These are my favorite videos you guys make. They're so well done!
The way he jumped @ 10:20 was priceless. A nanosecond of pure terror.
it's nice to see a build with someone that is informal and honest.
keep it up! I really look forward to each of these 👍
One of the most underrated automotive channels in my opinion on TH-cam. This series is excellent. Fellow Subaru owner as well, much love.
i don't know why, but this channel just makes me smile with every video i watch
This is the coolest car channel. You guys reignited my passion for cars. Thank you guys so much.
I was pretty happy when it fired up. Somehow felt invested in the car getting to work!
The ups and downs of building personal cars is vary stressful but all worth it if you can just get through all the stress and hard work
"Every car iv ever built"
Love the videos keep it up!!
This series is so good! I don't like they take forever to come out but you can't rush perfection, I guess.
I love that your finishing this build there is so much potential in the car sure it has its obstacles and it's gonna be a journey but hey that's the thrill about building a car can't to see how this build turns out major respect!

no wonder the super blue i bought recently was yellow! i was like did i buy the wrong fluid? nooo the bottle clearly says super blue dot 4 lol
Yep. The BMW performance shop in town carried it. I just stayed with the ATE gold.
The engine run reaction was so satisfying.
OMG I'm so happy it runs!!! I wish you guys all the best of luck on this huge take of a project!🙏
His reaction at 10:19 was priceless 😂
I really didn't expect it to start lol
You can use an 08+ STi steering coupler to get rid of that rubber puck in the steering linkage.
converted a legacy wagon with a jdm engine and now almost 2 years might be able to run her.Found out that the wire going to the fuel injector was faulty.Hope to see yours running as well!
Cheers!
That moment when engine start up. can't wait for the next part
Once that engine fired up I actually got excited too lol
Yes! This series is amazing! It reminds me of the zx2 build which was fantastic.
I’m soo happy for you man. I hope the guy that had it before is watching this is an unreal build. Can’t wait for the next video and I hope you can run that beast. Best of luck👍👍
I definitely look forward to this build the most since it reminds me so much of supergramps
Hopefully you get everything fixed and get it to be the car you expect/want it to be.
I truly enjoy your video and can relate to some of the challenges you had re the LGT. I am looking forward to episode 4!
Have enjoyed these videos, must take my had off to you for sticking with in 👍
Loving this build so far! But please don't make us wait long for the next one!!!! Merry Chrismas G&G :)
Dude! Great job! It's cool to see a project find the owner it deserves.

So happy for you to get the engine running
Props for trying to take on wiring
Nice build! I’m glad it runs, even if it doesn’t run well.
Ive known adam for a long time, he is a great mechanic.
I had the same problem with the steering column gasket when I did my heater core in my outback I couldn’t ever get it all the way back in but most of the way in seemed okay after that!
Whats up this legacy...lets see more of her...getting inspired to purchase more like a simliar build coming up soon...all the way from fiji islands..
I can't wait to see this complete. I love GT wagons.
That is very good news , congrats ..I know you feeling with excitment , I had wiring problems also ,wiring sucks....

Great video as always , keep it up guys
Where's part 4 😂 been waiting for so long
Love to follow that build! Keep on good work!
I've read on legacygt.com that this project will not be completed / broken for a part out... ?
If it was me...and I know you don't want to hear this but I would have tore this thing down the the shell again. Yes! I love this series, this car is going to be amazing!
Looking forward to seeing how much you have done on your next video! I own a 2003 BP5 Legacy GT-B JDM, its a 5AT but wanting to change it out to a 6speed one day.... Would love to know how the previous owner managed to marry it all together!!
Don't worry Ben, you beat that WooFlu BS. You'll find another.
Man this must be super rewarding!
This channel is something different, and I like it. Keep going guys. That Subaru is going to see the day light again soon, I hope.
Awesome man. So happy to see that thing fire up.
Waiting for next episode!! Excellent work guys!

That blue is the best colour for the legacy’s, with a bit of a cut and polish it will look mad
best christmas present ever
Just love it man, greetings from the Dominican Republic.
That's a cool Christmas gift.... BUUUUUT. What's wrong with the engine? THAT"S COAL!
Can't even imagine chasing down those electrical/wiring issues.
I forgot all about this build until today.
I was wondering if you guys made any progress with this Legacy...?
Yo we need to see this Legy run for real!!!
how did you bleed the brakes you need to use a clear hose to make sure the bubbles are gone and have some one pump on the pedal.
*But... What did you do with the old gas?*
It's still sitting. What should I do with it?
it's good enough for the lawn mower or something like that
Gears and Gasoline my buddy put the old gas all in a bucket then lit it on fire to see if it would still burn, ended up making a small fireball in our garage. This is what not to do. Imo if you live outside city limits, burn it on a burn pile or something. Just dont do so in a garage hehe.
Think you have to find a recycling center to properly dispose of it.
Daniel Blocker proper is no fun :(
Where is part 4? I couldn't find it on gears and gasoline.
I've been waiting to watch this video for weeks
What's the situation with this car right now I really wanna see it return. Awesome build
What ended up happening to this project
Man that under dash partially stripped interior is a familiar sight...
Hey, Guys we didn't find the part 4, or the finishing of how you finally fixed the Subaru Wagon, that was in deep water.
sounds like turbo bearings? Or just lack of oil lubrication at startup. Let it run at bit longer, i have this problem when it sits for long time sounds like crap for the first min.
Hows that quickjack working for you? Do you feel safe going under it with out jack stands? Noticed you had stands getting the gas out, why the switch?
Love your determination man, keep it up. Irish Subaru fan😎
I love watching your videos! A friend of mine used to have a wagon like that but in black. Still pissed at him because he traded it! :(
amazing work love not just the this video but the while channel
Dude you have a pixel ! I salute you bro
These guys deserve more subs they content is dope
EJ Purr ye I know they do produce great stuff
Please do not take long to make another wagon built video we want too see more
How's the build coming? Did the STi Forester replace this?
When do we get an update on the build?
Glad you didn't make a spark next to that open gas tank. ;-)
