@@simonnizerontheroad I lost a friend, he was wearing a Rolex that was worth about 11K and three young men mugged him for the watch and he didn't survive and I didn't grow up in the ghetto.

I’m 28, and wear a Casio MRW-200H the most. Little buffing here and there of the acrylic crystal and it’s freshened up. ✨ I have a Casio Duro, and a couple Citizens but the beater watches are the best and the Miyota 2035 keeps really accurate time.
@@boom5732 right. It’s more of a “years ago” accessory. Unless the new generation is into a fitness sport, a smart watch might come into play. I see that case.
I was salivating over Rolex and Omega catalogs at 13yo. I asked that my bday gift was a watch and even though my parents didn’t have the Rolex type of cash growing up. My mom bought me a citizen eco drive that I still have, wear and cherish. After that watch I was hooked forever. Buying a 14 yr old a Rolex…..unbelievable ! That 14 year old will end up dead walking around wearing a rolex at his age, smart move by his parents
I went to school with kids that had Rolexes and Porsches at 16. Nobody I ending up dead. You must of grown up in the getho to think like that

He will, he will find out pretty quickly that that watch is worth more than his life to a lot of people.

Look after it young fella
At 14, you're getting a fucking G-shock.
Take care of it, and at 18 we'll upgrade to a green-dial Milgauss like an adult.
Buying a kid a watch like that is the definition of being chavvy.
A chav? With a rolex? What planet are you on? Chavs can't even afford to draw a watch on their wrist with a pen... They're chavs.....
Bargain. I’d of bought that at that price
Great sales
Least irresponsible British parents be like:
Lmao wtf she's buying a Rolex for a 14-year-old?
And he’s not going to wear it. These kids don’t wear watches. They say why would I need to watch? I have a phone.
The kids want the iPhone 16, dad or mom just like to buy a/the watch. Maybe even park some money, who knows.
