Agreed, I personally love the Milgauss due to its Design - unassuming at first glance but exciting in the details like the green chrystal and the second hand. It´s my favourite Rolex, the one I´m willing to save up for.

I know this is an old video, but I had to click. How can a Milgauss be the worst watch ever when Hublot exists? 🤣 the milgauss is an icon and I find a lot of physicians/researchers love their milgauss ❤️
This was my first ever rolex and the first watch over 1000 euros I ever bought. Call me a weirdo but this is still my favorite and brings me so much joy every time I see it. It plays witch light and shifts colours so much that it's like wearing a different watch each time the lighting changes. It can be a bit of a hazard in traffic though, since I can easily get mesmerized by its beauty while driving. First rolex and the only one guaranteed never to leave my possession.
After years and years of searching and planning I found this to be my perfect watch. I've had it for years now and it never ceases to make me happy. I wear it every day an it's so unassuming that it's like a secret luxury that almost no one knows I have. I have had maybe 2 people (clearly Rolex-knowledgable) comment on it. I bought an Apple watch a bit ago and that lasted about a year before I abandoned new tech for old tech and my Milgauss was back on my wrist. As others have noted, the commentary you made is exactly why this watch is so fantastic. Yes, it's very odd for a Rolex. Yes, it's a weird mix of colors. Yes, it's got no real practical advantage over an Oyster Perpetual (I don't plan on wearing this near an MRI machine). So is it the worst watch ever? Not on this wrist it isn't.
I dislike rolexes. I _subjectively_ like this one more than most. No cyclops eye and the bolt is a cool detail on an otherwise quiet-ish watch. Sue me. P. S. Milgauss is not a meme
I’m currently at five minutes, 41 seconds and thinking to myself “I still love the watch… I love owning it.“. It is very refreshing to know that I do not have to defend anything. Back to watching
This video is weird, in that it pulls shade over what is a perfectly good watch to begin with. The Milgauss...worst watch ever made? Far from it, there are plenty of other candidates for that title...
This is a beautiful timepiece. It has a practicality to it. A scientists’ watch one that works with electromagnetic fields. I know I’d be looking into this watch if I were Network Engineer or find myself working in a server room.
I doubt this Rolex would be protected despite being claimed antimagnetic. It’s only rated at 1000 gauss, compare that to the Omega Seamaster which is 15,000 gauss, which is MRI level of antimagnetic
"But rarely does a person eat the recipe." Good line. Now wait a minute... are you saying that someone HAS eaten a recipe?? Now this is a story I must know!
I own this watch with the black dial and I absolutely love it. I've had it for 8 months and I've yet had to adjust the time. And the worst watch in the world? What an absolutely absurd proposition. Look at some of the ridiculous watch designs being sold out there and you will see that this is really a beautiful and functional watch. And when he said that you can buy the same turquoise dial in an Oyster Perpetual I almost fell off my chair. Those watches are now selling for significantly more than a Milgauss. Don't pay any attention to the price on the Rolex site, you simply cannot buy those watches in any store for the list price. A very misleading post by Watchfinder.
Interesting thoughts...and some good points. Ultimately, the message I took from this video is very complimentary towards the Milgauss. It’s a brilliant watch that defies conventional judgement.
I think the British tongue in cheek humour is a bit lost in this video, gathering from all the negative comments. He isn't saying it's the worst watch, he's saying that only objectively the Milgauss is the worst watch, but because people buy watches with their heart rather than their head, the Milgauss is also beautiful subjectively. I guess you could only understand it if you know British humour in this instance.
@Yanny One I disagree. I thoroughly enjoyed it, no different to what he usually uploads with click-baity titles. I understand this style might not be to some people's taste but I still enjoyed it.
@Yanny One I don't need you to care... It's a matter of opinion. I'm trying to ensure people understand that he isn't bashing the Milgauss. It's like the Nissan Juke, objectively that's an ugly car; weird angles, strange headlights, awkward stance etc. But millions of people love it! Subjectively they think it looks awesome. That's what the narrator is trying to convey. It's not a bad video per se, it's just that some people don't understand the point he's trying to make and is therefore miscommunicated. I love all the videos from watchfinder. Epic!
The fact this $6,000 Rolex watch is supposed to be worse than a watch picked up at a walmart for $15 is the dumbest shit I ever heard a person say about a luxury brand watchmaker regarding the Milgauss
I mean, I appreciate the details of the Milgauss such as the green crystal and polishing on the bezel and bracelet. While it is similar to the Oyster Perpetual, I think the engineering and cool factor that comes with the electromagnetic shield makes up for the $3,000 price differential. I would be far more mad if I purchased a carbon Richard Mille only to realize I paid for a house and got a plastic watch. All being said, I hope this video drives down the prices of the Milgauss on the grey market because the purchase would feel so much sweeter near entry level Oyster price.
You need to watch to the end! I think the British tongue in cheek humour is a bit lost in this video, gathering from all the negative comments. Alec Tang I did watch it to the end. I’m British, so I get British humour. It just wasn’t a great video. Watchfinder is my favourite watch channel. This is their first miss.
I just got mine last week and I love it! From the green crystal, to the orange lightening bolt to the minutes by fives (whatever that is called, not sure the official term) and the fact that it doesn't scream ROLEX! when you walk into a room with it, i love this watch.
Milgauss is definitely my favourite Rolex. It may be the seconds hand, the green sapphire, the black and orange highlits or how it all comes together but I love it and nothing is going to change it. I get why people hate it and I agree that it is an acquired taste.

I just recently saw this one on the grey marker and fell in love with it. Oddly enough it being so different from all other Rolex watches is what made me fall in love with it.
The longer time passes - the more this watch makes sense. Especially in todays crazy market of buyers, sellers and social ‘influencers’ - the Milgauss stands tall in its originality, history and boldness….It also wears incredibly well. Let’s see what 2022 brings for this exceptional piece! Did I hear anyone say discontinued?
how can something be objectively bad when you only give subjective reasons? I is cosc certified so already better than most watches, the colour of the crystal does not impede it's ability to stay scratch resistant and and the seconds hand, lightening bolt or not, works as it should.
I have a Milgauss and I'm not offended at all. I've often thought it's a strange model that's pretty impractical, but any watch over £10 you could describe as impractical. I'm just hoping Rolex will discontinue it soon as I know this model is going to be a future classic and the price will go through the roof!
I actually loved this video. I was really puzzled by so much criticism was being poured on a perfectly nice watch, until 5:39. Then it made sense: It was all about seemingly unappealing parts can become a rather appealing whole. Watch it again. Thumbs up.
that's what I got from it. individually each odd part of the milgauss is wrong but together they form something that surpasses a time keeper. individually They should make up the worst watch in the world but when combined in the right amount they make a beautiful watch
I liked it the first time I saw it Then a friend of mine bought one and I tried it .... man, I fell in love with this watch, it made me so happy wearing it that I’m saving to buy one 👍
The only thing bad about this watch is the cartoonish lightning bolt second hand. That said, some people find it whimsical and fun. To each their own. But the “worst” watch? Never. That title goes to Invicta.
Another brilliantly written narrative and a beautiful watch. A nuclear physicist friend who has one of these absolutely loves it and it is beautiful in person. Mesmerizing for all the the reasons explained in this video.

I have this watch. I love this watch. I saw it in the case at the Rolex boutique and immediately asked to see it. They had ordered it for someone who bought a different watch while on a cruise...so they put it on display. It had been there less than an hour when I saw it. While I was looking at it, some other guy walked in, saw it and wanted to see it. The salesperson told him that I was looking at it and he was welcome to look at it after I was finished. I took my time. I then told the salesperson I would take it. He went to retrieve the box and the other customer complained that he didn’t get to see it. The salesperson said, “That watch doesn’t belong to this Botique anymore. That watch belongs to this gentleman. If he says you can look at it, you can; but that is his choice now, not ours.” The guy, who had actually been quite demanding and rude and had been in my personal space, hovering over my shoulder, just off my right elbow the entire time, turned to me and asked if he could look at it and try it on. Nope. And I was in the process of moving, so I had the Botique box it up right there and then mail the watch to me at my new address a couple of weeks later, rather than wear it out. And if I’m not even wearing my brand new Milgauss, there’s no chance in the world I was letting some rude stranger, who doesn’t understand personal space, wear it even for a second. I love this watch. I was considering getting one with a black dial, as I think the orange lightning bolt would ‘pop’ on the black dial. But the blue looks great and I even have some shirts that match the color scheme. Love this watch!
My Sister and i bought this watch with the black dial for our Dad's 70th he was so happy and 10 years on its never left his wrist and i always admire it when i see him and every couple of years say can i take a look at it :) Having 2 sons and realising that Dads was going to my older son eventually. Last year i bought the blue faced one to wear a little for now and then give to my youngest when he is worthy and won't loose it :) probably i am wearing it for at least another 20! both are lovely watches and its cool hanging out with Dad and wearing the same watch when i get the chance to see him. Great review and it certainly caught peoples attention. Future classic
I think I must be the only one who finds Rolex hate refreshing. The small line up in the Rolex roster is getting quite boring for me, whilst as any watch lover I can appreciate that they make a good watch, they are simply no more than that. Omega have always been a personal favourite of mine despite some wacky watches in the range, its nice to see new designs that blow the Rolex counterparts away....
I don't think he bashed the watch at all. Did you see the video until the end? His reasoning is that sometimes, even if something is called or deemed objectively bad, or ugly, or whatever, it doesn't keep it from being appreciated, seeming unique and ultimately working out. Like acquired taste. I might have been naive, but whatever negativity existed went away at the end of the video.
Indeed, this brilliant video is rattling the belief system of Rolex fanatics: those who think that because it is a Rolex it must be beautiful. Unfortunately, when it comes to aesthetics, Rolex holds, at best (with its Submariner and its Cellini line), a mid-tier position in the horological hierarchy.

Oh c'mon.. you're respected enough.. no need of using a clickbait like this
This video made me fall in love with this watch. Exactly 8 months later, really took that long, I finally found a Rolex Boutique that sold me one!
Mine forever!
Congrats, enjoy!
Lucky you! I've been on the waiting list to buy since a year now😩
Congratulations my friend 😁🍻
Niko bro your on the wrong waitlist, these are everywher
fuck yeah! Great buy
its one of the most beautifully simplistic and yet eye-catching watches ever produced, it's an gem. i love it
Many people didn’t understand that this video is ironic. “The watches we love din’t always makes sense!”
“It is when you start picking out the finer details that the watch starts falling apart.” Goes on to hate on the watch based solely on looks not realizing what it’s heritage or functionality is.
And didn’t he say something about taste? I think the watch is awesome, and my favorite color is green.
Ehhhh... The Milgauss is actually pretty slick.
Zune was great
Well, if you don't want yours, then I'll be glad to love it for you...
Same
Kraken1000 I’m willing to ignore the lightning bolt 😉
I actually like the lightning bolt and absolutely love the green!
imo its the best time only watch
That's the point of this channel: To advertise the watches they sell. You want it? Go to watchfinder.co.uk and buy it lol
It's actually one of my favorite Rolex, I love the combination of colors and lightning bolt shape
agree
Yes! Rolex have so many boring watches so this one sticks out, saw one on a custom green ostrich strap = watchporn!
Agreed, I personally love the Milgauss due to its Design - unassuming at first glance but exciting in the details like the green chrystal and the second hand. It´s my favourite Rolex, the one I´m willing to save up for.
Agree, I own one and all I ever get is compliments, but, tbh, as long as I like it and don’t shove my opinion about it down anyone else’s throat, I don’t really care if no one else likes it. End of.
M F me too about the compliments .
Each to his own . I’m not a fan of Rolex styles in general , but this one is a beautiful exception. I love how the green crystal sets off the sky blue face . The colors work together in a lovely unexpected way . The gold minute hand and logo further enhance by contrasting with the cool ice colors - pure genius ! I would own this watch in a heartbeat 💗.
I know this is an old video, but I had to click. How can a Milgauss be the worst watch ever when Hublot exists? 🤣 the milgauss is an icon and I find a lot of physicians/researchers love their milgauss ❤️
That’s _crazy_ ...
The Milgauss is legitimately the only Rolex I even like. Rolex designs are overall too boring for me.
oyster perpetual milgauss
RaDD C only the air king is uglier. Everything else rolex makes is beautiful. Milgauss is just ok
navarrolevel7 this is ur opinion i really dont think every rolex model looks good
yachtmaster is the ugliest Rolex, and a dog in the sales figures.
every company has their spin on the submariner. your right, they are over done. still beautiful though.
Wtf the milgauss is an absolute beaut
yep its so beautiful
@Truthfears Guilty so u might know NOTHING about watches

@Truthfears Guilty u're trash
Watch the whole video big fella. He likes the watch...
How much did you pay??
The Milgauss GV is an enigma wrapped in a mystery contained in a puzzle
Rolexes are overpriced plain jane watches
@@levedia Your brain is plain flat
I love how 99% of the people are replying to strictly to the title. As if they didn't watch the video.
True. To be fair, you could watch about 90% of the video and still think it was a hit piece. Plot twist at the end was great.
People are retarded
His individual points were all dumb, though, not persuasive at all. Comes off as him trying to force a video with an interesting title.
I’m currently at five minutes, 41 seconds and thinking to myself “I still love the watch… I love owning it.“. It is very refreshing to know that I do not have to defend anything. Back to watching
He is the king of clickbait. Every video title he does is like this, just controversial clickbait.
This video is weird, in that it pulls shade over what is a perfectly good watch to begin with. The Milgauss...worst watch ever made? Far from it, there are plenty of other candidates for that title...
The twist is in the last sentence. Sometimes the watches we buy make no sense. That's the beauty of it. It's yours to decide
This is a beautiful timepiece. It has a practicality to it. A scientists’ watch one that works with electromagnetic fields. I know I’d be looking into this watch if I were Network Engineer or find myself working in a server room.
I dont think that a server room has enough gauss to afect an average watch, try the switchgear
I doubt this Rolex would be protected despite being claimed antimagnetic. It’s only rated at 1000 gauss, compare that to the Omega Seamaster which is 15,000 gauss, which is MRI level of antimagnetic
The Milgauss has been my grail watch for years. This vid is some hot take clickbait BS. Unless you're trolling, in which case I got trolled.
Now that is a Rolex I actually really like. Thanks for highlighting its best characteristics.
Oh dear, that is... utterly horrendous.
A shame...
I can take it off your hands for you ;)
"But rarely does a person eat the recipe."
Good line.
After owning 200 watches in my time, the Rolex Milgauss GV is the best of them all, the most underrated watch I have ever owned.
Probably, the only Rolex I really love.
Me too,the only one on rolex.
Me too, I have several yet the Milgauss speaks to me
Interesting thoughts...and some good points. Ultimately, the message I took from this video is very complimentary towards the Milgauss. It’s a brilliant watch that defies conventional judgement.
That's about the size of it, and very good it was, too.
I like this channel but I'm not digging all these click baity titles and negativity recently.
They sold out to Richemont. Once that aspect of integrity went away, so did others.
@@gyang333 no... Their recent Rolex videos were just as good.
Epic!
Definitely not the worst watch ever. That award goes to any Hublot.
The fact this $6,000 Rolex watch is supposed to be worse than a watch picked up at a walmart for $15 is the dumbest shit I ever heard a person say about a luxury brand watchmaker regarding the Milgauss
Christ, that three minute rhetorical, pseudo-semantic schpeel at the start was painful.
The Worst Watch Video Ever made by Watchfinder & Co.
It's all irony...
First time i wish this video had no sound.....
Milgauss for the person that really insists on wearing a watch during an MRI
I mean, I appreciate the details of the Milgauss such as the green crystal and polishing on the bezel and bracelet. While it is similar to the Oyster Perpetual, I think the engineering and cool factor that comes with the electromagnetic shield makes up for the $3,000 price differential. I would be far more mad if I purchased a carbon Richard Mille only to realize I paid for a house and got a plastic watch.
All being said, I hope this video drives down the prices of the Milgauss on the grey market because the purchase would feel so much sweeter near entry level Oyster price.
No, the worst watch ever were those Air Kings with the Dominos Pizza logo.
wow, I thought you were joking. But these are real!
not if you love pizza
wait until you see mvmt with tiege hanley logo
but they are rare
I was looking at no-date oyster perpetuals on chrono24 and saw a Domino's one. Its ridiculous but I'd totally rock one for fun.
Bizarre video, full of contradictions. I struggled to watch it until the end.

Hmm, odd video. The Milgauss has a cult following that would make Tarantino jealous.

This watch is an amazing Rolex timepiece. Rolex stepped out of its oyster shell to make this for all of us who do not want to be traditional.
All y'all who want to be ugly.
stepped lout of its shell to make an even more plain jane watch. GRAND SEIKO all the way.
If I owned one of these I’d be sad about this video too and feel the need to defend it in a comment. Paying thousands for an objectively bad watch would make me depressed as fuck I’d comment defending it to the death if I owned one.
Trynathinka Suttencul How is it ugly? Not everyone wants a boring ass watch that’s been made 1000 times
I bet you’re a tag heuer fan lol

I had to watch it again after your comment, wasn't paying attention towards the end lol.
Yes, was terrific. All the time you were thinking ' well, it really isn't that bad ( ! ) ' and in the end, it wasn't.
I liked it the first time I saw it
Then a friend of mine bought one and I tried it .... man, I fell in love with this watch, it made me so happy wearing it that I’m saving to buy one 👍
It's ok, it just says to the world "Everything's coming up Milgauss"
No, the title of worst watch goes to every single Richard Mille ever made.
'A nugget of the purest green', I love the Blackadder reference!
Hopefully this is the first, and last time, I will have to downvote one of your videos.
Byron MacGreggor Same here man, same here
The only thing bad about this watch is the cartoonish lightning bolt second hand.
Nailed it, it’s not about what others think, it’s what works for you.

I do like the lightning bolt, and the green.
If he says you can look at it, you can; but that is his choice now, not ours.”
The guy, who had actually been quite demanding and rude and had been in my personal space, hovering over my shoulder, just off my right elbow the entire time, turned to me and asked if he could look at it and try it on.
Rolex fanboys/girls triggered by a joke?
Indeed, this brilliant video is rattling the belief system of Rolex fanatics: those who think that because it is a Rolex it must be beautiful. Unfortunately, when it comes to aesthetics, Rolex holds, at best (with its Submariner and its Cellini line), a mid-tier position in the horological hierarchy.
Yep. The same ones who think Rolex is the best watch company in the world
I thought jokes were supposed to be funny.
The Milgauss is my dream watch!
