Seeing this on a screen does not do it justice. The watch is super stunning in person. The blue pops and depends on the angle, it will either look blue or green due to the green crystal. Absolutely love this watch
So pleased to see this video. I own and love the Z Blue Milgauss. More quirky and fun than most other Rolex models, but I find the Z-Blue dial is a stunning color dial, and the green sapphire and orange second hand gives it extra interest. Great video
Love seeing this video, my Z Blue gets the most eye gazing and wrist time as a Star Trek and old Sci Fi fan my whole life this Rolex checked all the boxes for me.when I first saw it, so happy to own this one.
So, first... love my MG... second... question... Mine has a tactile and slightly audible clicking sound when I manually wind it. Like the gears meshing. I'm asking because my Omega is silent and smooth when I wind it. I have cheaper watches and some of them do the click. Is this normal for Rolex?
I'm glad you liked that! I always try to pack these videos with offbeat humor and easter eggs. Sometimes it's visual, and sometimes it's in the narrative. I'm also a huge comics fan. Best, Tim
I like the original Milgauss that you showed, with the rotating bezel and lightning bold seconds hand. I can't say the same for the recent and current ones.
Hi Tim, could you please shed some light on the utility of that unusual bezel of the 6543 and 6541. I’m yet to find a convincing explanation of the same. Thanks. P.S.- to me it seems like trying to measure number of 5 minute intervals, but it’ll be interesting to know the utility for the same, thanks again.
Love the Z-Blue Milgauss. Like you said, a great three hand alternative to an OP or Air-King. Also it’s not a Rolex fanboys Watch. The science lover inside me loves this and the Omega Railmaster 57. Everyone wants to know when you will take some of your Car fund and put it into a Z-Blue Tim. Will it be long? Great video! ✊
My favourite Rolex as well. I'm afraid it'll always be just a dream to own one. Discontinued now I believe so probably be about 20k now if you can find one.
Hey Tim, as always informativ and fun! Thanks. For me this watch and the EX2 falls under comic watches. For the Milgaus it is the colors and the flash second hand for the EX2 it is the thicc black outlines of the indexes and hands. Looks like someone with a edding painted them on white paper. Hopefully the EX2 will be more available and the market calms down. It would be my first and only watch with a white dial.
Good video. I own a black dial and have a love hate relationship with it. Most times I wear it I find it very boring and only really keeping it as an investment.
@@bdegrds Ok, in Rolex terms thats retail also why buy unworn? Also Chrono notoriously 10-15% above real mkt value and even there they're just above £6- which is about retail, in £....
It's funny how people laud Rolex for keeping their designs consistent over the years (the Submariner Date, Explorer) yet the Milgauss has been all over the place. the Z Blue is super cool. I wonder what they will do to it at W&W this year, if anything.
There was more flexibility to change the Milgauss since it was dead for almost two decades. It came back with more visual links to the 1950s 6541 and 6543 than to the 1019. Best, Tim
Well, I think you'll be happy at some point in the near future. A Milgauss redesign can't be far off, and it would be fun to see a return of classic elements like the waffle dial, rotating bezel, or CERN dials. Best, Tim
The vph seems average. Finishing is nice, and the dial is stunning, but can someone explain to me why this watch is over $15k? The caseback is boring. I'd rather spend $5k on a Seiko.

Only Rolex I’ve cared to own is the Z blue it’s super unique people will be crying when it’s discontinued
The best watch Rolex makes. Iconic.
Just got mine. Brand new 2023. Paid way to much and I don’t regret it!
I own the 116400GV and amongst all of my watches it is my favorite! Love the history and how unique it is!
bro with how articulate and well spoken you are i didn't expect you to be so young. props, keep doing what you're doing
Black dial, for the win. Blue is pretty, but green sapphire pops less.

0:21 I love the visual effect with the clock in the background!
Well done.
The big question is.....when are you getting one Tim?

@6:27 I got a good chuckle after Tim asks the question of who is this watch for

I got the blue six years ago. Love it. And that was in the days you could buy a Sub off the shelf without waiting.
Great video, Tim. You always do great videos. Hope you get your Milgauss soon!
Tim, you are the best! I watch yr videos for many years and I hope that you will do them many years to come!
Milgauss ...a Rolex for those who love the brand without the bling
I like the original Milgauss that you showed, with the rotating bezel and lightning bold seconds hand. I can't say the same for the recent and current ones.
So happy to own this model. I like that it goes under the radar too🤓👍🏻
Is it stealth also?
@@takasmaka820 only if you’re wearing it in a B-2 bomber or similar😉
As an engineer, I love the look of the green Milgauss. But a watch without day/date is useless to me.

I gotten mine few days ago.. love it every second. 😊

I'm in an Ebay limbo bidding scenario , putting in lower bids ATM hopefully soon they will crack.
On the list at my AD for a Z Blue
This thing is awesome!
It’s beautiful. One of the best looking Rolex
Love the white dial
The milgauss Z blue dial is a most beautiful dial I think, but all 4 pieces colour are very nice too,all are the future classic.🥰
My favourite Rolex as well. I'm afraid it'll always be just a dream to own one. Discontinued now I believe so probably be about 20k now if you can find one.

I have both watches... they're great 👌
because of you I purchased a milguass the same day this was released
Love this - more of it!
Good video. I own a black dial and have a love hate relationship with it. Most times I wear it I find it very boring and only really keeping it as an investment.
I love my z blue too, beautiful and different from the usual offerings.
Great watch and available at or even under retail, which is a relief in these days.
No it's not. Milgausse sells 10-15% above retail full kit

@@jamesblonde2271FOS. You can’t get the z blue close to under retail . Maybe you flogging fakes ?

Que hermoso reloj es un rolex hermoso, no tengo.la economía para darme ese gran lujo pero almenos lo disfruto viéndolo en videos.
Best anti-Rolex watch ever, i own it and I ll never sell it. Everybody forgets that you cannot find them as a copy if it is a GV (glass verde)
Love the Milgauss but that old outdated bulbous case and polished center links are no bueno. Needs a refresh or sent to the trash heap

Someone has to pay for the marketing, it doesn't come cheap
We enjoy it for the same. Got mine on an orange everest
& now discontinued!
the modern Milgauss is totally a nerd watch, perfect for T-mosso tbh
It will be your first Rolex? Hmm 🤔 I have the same size wrist and the Milgauss seems too large for me
Did you buy one yet Tim? You said it’s your favorite Rolex!
RIP Milgauss
nice
✌️
wonder why they haven’t gone 70 hrs… saving for year when there’s nothing to announce?
