My idea is that it happens after Goku goes off with Chi-Chi, leaving his friends behind. Bulma realizes that her and Yamcha probably wouldn't work out earlier on, and that eventually leads into her dating Krillin(this idea came from Krillin dating Marrin, another bombshell blue haired woman). This could easily turn into a different child from the future, no Vegeta redemption (because of no trunks), and maybe a tweaking of the SSG ritual. Krillin would train harder because he'd have someone to fight for, and would try his best to keep up with the main cast.

In the context of the dragon ball universe immortality is kinda like playing a video game with god mode/creative mode turned on it’s fine for something like exploring areas you normally can’t (ie finding content that was cut from the game etc.) after you’ve already beaten the game or for building random creations but other than that it makes everything else less fun

Vegeta: eternal dragon revive the wizard Babidi Dragon: your wish has been granted *Vegeta reels back in pain clutching his head* Supreme Kai: no it is as I feared, a piece of Babidi has been inside Vegeta the whole time! The M fades as vegeta falls to the ground unconscious, Babidi appears but quickly uses his magic to wisk himself away to Buu’s egg. Babidi: yes it worked! He stares down at a 95% full buu energy gauge he holds his hands near it and it ticks over to 96% Vegeta wakes up and tells Goku and supreme Kai about his nights going to buu’s egg and giving it energy leaving the egg almost completely full of energy and not being able to control himself over the past month. the Humans did start training smart: they trained with Roshi, Korin, and Kami, then Krillin got his potential unlocked by Guru an the other humans trained with king Kai .... then they went stupid, training on earth alone for the androids, Krillin and Yamcha even quit training after that saga.... so how about this scenario : after Future trunks appears like usual and Goku tells them everything, the humans who trained with king Kai ask him to take them to the other world where they would ask Guru to unlock their powers, Krillin wants to go to King Kai to train with him, and the humans will join him later to learn the Kaiokin to have something to keep up with the Super Saiyan forms they ask Bulma to make a space ship with gravity training just like Goku's, with the Coordination of Yardrat installed to train there, let's ay they spent nearly 1 and a half year with King Kai, and the rest on Yardrat .... they will have : 1) Massive power growth, each will aim to be atleast able to fight Freeza on his own, I don't see Chiautsu reaching that level, but the rest should be able to. 2) Kaiokin Mastery, maybe similar to Goku's max at Kaiokin times 30 with no strain. 3) Yardrat basic skills like better ki control and sensing + Instant Transmission. 4) some advanced Yardrat Skills, I suppose Tenshinhan would get the cloning, Krillin would get the gigantification since it also can shrink you without losing any power making you harder to hit while he is experienced with being small in size, Chiautsu would learn healing because he knows he's the weakest so he wants to help in other ways, and Yamcha tho he wanted to be a giant to feed his ego ... would end up learning spirit fission since it's the skill no one else learned and he wants to be special. 5) Roshi and Yajirobi can train with Kami for the 3 years. ***** maybe some of them will train in room of spirit and time during the 10 days till Cell games, but what matters is AFTER the cell games as they still have these options : 1) More training on Yardrat to master all their techniques. 2) building a gravity room INSIDE the room of spirit and time and training there to catch up with the Saiyans. 3) Training with Vegeta, and maybe even inspire Gohan to train with them from time to time. 4) Training Goten and Trunks as they see their massive potential, the human would get stronger while the 2 brats will learn discipline, skills etc... 5) Casually visiting Goku at King Kai's planet, and training with him. ****** by Buu Saga, I see them reaching the level of Perfect Cell before he self-detonated and came back, so it's below SSJ2 but above SSJ1 Grade 4, making them stronger than even piccolo, Chiautsu tho would be at the same level of Mecha Freeza by now. After the Buu saga, I can see the humans pestering the Supreme kais trying to get them to train them, so we can have Ultimate form for all the humans, here is my final power scaling for this scenario with everyone in their Ultimate form: 1) Chiautso : near SSJ2 Gohan in the Cell Saga, or Super Perfect Cell. 2) Yamcha : near Evil Buu's power. 3) Krillin : near Super Buu's power with no one absorbed. 4) Tenshinhan : near Super Buu's power with Piccolo absorbed. then we have battle of gods, and I don't know how they will deal with god ki, but atleast in the tournament of power they will be much stronger than in canon, maybe just having trouble just with the heavy hitters like Ribriane, Aniraza, Kale, Kalefla, Hit, Toppo, Despo, and ofcourse Jiren, but even Roshi would last longer after he's got Kami's training.

maybe some of them will train in room of spirit and time during the 10 days till Cell games, but what matters is AFTER the cell games as they still have these options :
1) More training on Yardrat to master all their techniques.
2) building a gravity room INSIDE the room of spirit and time and training there to catch up with the Saiyans.
3) Training with Vegeta, and maybe even inspire Gohan to train with them from time to time.
4) Training Goten and Trunks as they see their massive potential, the human would get stronger while the 2 brats will learn discipline, skills etc...

by Buu Saga, I see them reaching the level of Perfect Cell before he self-detonated and came back, so it's below SSJ2 but above SSJ1 Grade 4, making them stronger than even piccolo, Chiautsu tho would be at the same level of Mecha Freeza by now.
After the Buu saga, I can see the humans pestering the Supreme kais trying to get them to train them, so we can have Ultimate form for all the humans, here is my final power scaling for this scenario with everyone in their Ultimate form:
1) Chiautso : near SSJ2 Gohan in the Cell Saga, or Super Perfect Cell.
2) Yamcha : near Evil Buu's power.
3) Krillin : near Super Buu's power with no one absorbed.
4) Tenshinhan : near Super Buu's power with Piccolo absorbed.
then we have battle of gods, and I don't know how they will deal with god ki, but atleast in the tournament of power they will be much stronger than in canon, maybe just having trouble just with the heavy hitters like Ribriane, Aniraza, Kale, Kalefla, Hit, Toppo, Despo, and ofcourse Jiren, but even Roshi would last longer after he's got Kami's training.
