My friend and I watched Tree of Might last night and I made the joke that Turles was Zamasu from another another timeline swapping bodies with Goku way earlier than Super lol
Zamasu getting a completely new outlook on life, interesting but meanwhile, kid Goku is in Zamasu's body, with no idea where he is, or what happened, or how to get back to his grandpa
Now that's what i'll call a unique What If. There was a lot of Story where Zamasu switch body with Goku or another Saiyan, but never one where he stole Kid Goku's body.

@@krocizenow that I think about it, they've both been "possessed" twice(Vegeta 3 times if you count GT), Goku with Ginyu and Zamasu, and then Vegeta with Babidi, and I'm counting the water of life or whatever it's called
@krocize I can't really count that as a true possession personally. I say that because Goku's spirit wasn't in his body after Ginyu did the body swap, they just swapped bodies with each other. In this story, Goku's spirit was still in his own body when he got possessed and taken over by Zamasu, much like the situations with Vegeta in the Buu Saga and in GT.
So is this basically a path to Zamasu's redemption where he evolves and becomes a Kami-Sama or one where he becomes a Pilaf emperor of Earth and then a Frieza emperor of the Universe but a benevolent dictator? Like Zamasu offended himself for not realizing that the Gods created mortals, and therefore mortals are reflections of the Gods' mistakes. An excellent idea, I even see Zamasu developing real feelings of friendship and love, in his Kaioshin life it is very distorted, but he does have these feelings.
We could make it head cannon that Zalama has the discretion to interpret or to even DENY wishes based on the hearts and intentions of individuals. He is probably omniscient and felt like being cheeky and teaching Zamasu a lesson.
I absolutely require part 2-30 or however long this one goes on for. Once again a what if has blown away my expectations from the concept and gone incredibly deep.
It's ironic that the slip of the tongue was Zamasu wishing to "understand" Goku's power. If he understand's Goku's power, he may result in Zamasu turning good. He'll understand just how much Goku had fought to obtain that power, and why his friends were an integral part in that. This will also result in Zamasu perhaps experiencing what it's like to be mortal rather than see it from an outside view.
OOOOH... I'm intrigued. I can see the main arc being whether life as a mortal will help Zamasu re-evaluate his genocidal plan... or will he go through with it, regardless of the attachments he may form. And poor Kid Goku. If the body swap works like it did in the original, that would mean Kid Goku is stranded in Zamasu's body, in a different universe, in a different timeline decades in the future. A B-plot or special episode from his POV would be interesting. Also, "time is once again a flat circle"... I wonder what that meant
Is it funny that I am looking forward to seeing how Zamatsu is going to handle Grandpa’s death? To seeing how it will shift his perspective and slowly change him.
This reminds me of Dragon Ball Self Insert fanfiction where the said SI wakes up in a body of a character (Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, or even Yamcha, etc) and they had to keep up appearances while changing the future with their actions.
I remember hearing about one with Yamcha where they realize that maybe they shouldn't try to mess with how events go because of how that would effect everything.

I really like how the story is off to so far. There's a good monkey's paw twist with the wish and it was thematically appropriate to have Zamasu be forced into a situation where he'd have to learn the value of mortals from Grandpa Gohan and the world that gave Goku his heart
A interesting concept. Having a 'Kid Goku Black' from the start of Dragon Ball. It means rather than have access to Goku's power by exploiting muscle memory(like he did in the anime) Zamasu will have to experience Goku's life from the begining, and try to reach Goku's level of power that way.

The premise for this new What-If seems very interesting. I quite enjoyed the last one about Zamasu, with him helping the civilization he destroyed in the main series, and his growth during the process. But this time, he might be in for a far more challenging experience
i really like the idea of the shenrons pulling a monkeys paw everytime someone attempts to maliciously use the dragon balls but if their using it for noble or selfless purposes then they dont intentionally misinterpret it.

The premise for this new What-If seems very interesting. I quite enjoyed the last one about Zamasu, with him helping the civilization he destroyed in the main series, and his growth during the process. But this time, he might be in for a far more challenging experience

i really like the idea of the shenrons pulling a monkeys paw everytime someone attempts to maliciously use the dragon balls but if their using it for noble or selfless purposes then they dont intentionally misinterpret it.

Dude these videos are also a business with respect. Some ideas work and some don't. To the person and people who make them they need to analysis what works and what doesn't work. What attracts the audience . Your idea is pretty cool bro but ultimately its up to them. They are entrainers to a vast audience but they need to know what attracts and sells like all business's. Its nothing against you, everyone eventually gets their lucky shot.
