I came back to this video because I’ve been missing your content and wanted to see if alerts had failed to notify me of new videos. I am so sorry to see that you haven’t sent out any new posts or notices. Of course, you are free to handle your channel however you wish, but I worry about what has happened. Your projects are so inspiring and you have a lot to offer the crocheting community. I pray you and your family are well, April. Sending God’s blessings for a safe and peaceful 2024…..❤ -Brenda
I think your stitch marker ideas are fabulous, and that your idea for using them to denote hook size on your project is positively brilliant!! Also, you should be able to use a magnetic hook on the left side for your clear ruler, as most of them have a hole in the end, plus, it's flat, so won't stick out on that side. Then you'll always have it handy, and not forget you have it (like I often do! LOL 😆). Hugs, April!! 🤗💜
Great ideas about a ruler. I usually have a tape measure handy but I can see a small and normal sized ruler being helpful, especially for blocks. I've been working on designing blocks recently and I think I'll definitely pop a couple rules on my WIP cart. Thanks for the suggestion!
Loved seeing your organizing scheme. I use plastic bread bag ties wo write on hook size for WIPS. Your color coordinated stitch markers is a very clever idea! Happy crocheting!
I crochet on my couch, and everything is just spread out Willy nilly!🤪. It’s an absolute mess and takes time to clean up if visitors are coming over. So I’m liking your idea with the cart. I may have to break down and get one of those yarn jeannies. I pull from the outside and the skeins always like to roll around and get on the floor! It was helpful to hear your thought process in getting yourself organized. Thanks so much, April! ❤️-Brenda
I really love the yarn genie. I bought four extra spindles too and then glued magnets under my round table to hold empty ones. I forgot to show that but it works out so well!! I only wish they had a version for larger skeins and cakes like Super Saver Jumbo and Caron One Pound but, it works for normal size yarn. The cart has been a big help for me too!
