I subscribed because finally someone who enjoys crocheting and understands storage and setup. I am not into paper crafting, so watching their room organization videos leaves me flat.
I was the same, I love many of the ideas but so much of their tips don’t necessarily pertain to crochet. I hope this was helpful! ☺️💕

Agreed! My elbow is what is hurting me, and small projects definitely are my go to. I’m ADHD, I can’t focus on one thing for too long.

Glorious craft room! I gotta drag my hubs to IKEA, only because he is my voice of reason, and get some of that peg board.
I love my peg board. IKEA is probably much more reasonable than the container store. That whole wire shelving is the container store…I love it. I try to not go there often because…well, I’d need my husband to contain me too. 😂🤣

My craft room is a yarn room. What a great idea to put the Sheepjees little bonbons in a basket! Mine are still in the falling-apart box.

Oh that I you! Yes, I dabble in a little bit of everything, but crochet has truly become my greatest love. I’m a sucker for a basket. I felt so bad for those little guys being trapped in that box. Now hopefully I’ll actually use them because they are within reach. And yes, try dishie. It is so soft!! And as long as you aren’t doing tight stitches like amigurumi, it’s amazing. It is soooooo soft. 💗😁
Love Love all you do. I am working on my doll room. I knit crochet and Tat so I’ve collected all of that stuff but I also collected a lot of dolls lots of dolls. We moved all of them from California to Indiana and just in Barbies I have probably over 100 of those and then at least 100 of everything else it’s too much, but I love it all and I’m trying to make room for everything and I have a piece of a building that I get to put all my knitting crocheting and Tatting in that is really a lot more. Oh well it’s all fun isn’t it love you bye

@@therumimillcrochet I guess the easiest way for me to show Tatting is to tell to look it up on TH-cam.
It is very old Tatting is what the Kings & Queens wore around there nick. I make earrings & doilies. It is made with a shuttle. Wish I could put a picture here, but I haven’t figured that out . Hope you can find it on TH-cam.

I’ve only been doing this since June…so it took some work to get comfy with the whole camera and technology thing. But the last 3 videos….I’m finally acting like myself. It’s hard to get traction because of the constant TH-cam changes. Yea….it was not that great. Plus the fb group for it also sucked the joy out of it for me. Lots of complaining. It’s hard to say which was worse, my own complaining about the colors or others complaining about everything. 🤣😂💗
U can use the squares u didnt like for your pots holders or hot pot mats or sell them 🎉

loved the video, where did you stash the star wars crochet kit, the reason I ask is because I just purchased the Harry Potter one at Sams and it is sitting by my chair calling my name lol
I put it in my “content” box. I also have that Harry Potter Kit and another Star Wars one. My only suggestion is to use a different hook, and maybe different yarn. The yarn that comes in those kits is so rough and splitty. The Star Wars kit you saw in the video is actually for finger puppets. Why I needed it, I don’t know, but I did. 🤣😂Post pics in our group when your done. I love seeing your work! ❤️
I thought I was hiding my yarn sprees from my husband. Then one day he reminded me that he checks our security cameras while he’s at work and sees me bringing in garbage bag size bags in. 😳

My amigurumi making is slowly improving but I seem to do a lot of remaking-especailly in getting limbs of creatures to come out the same size! ONe always seems to be bigger or smaller than the other one-very frustrating!@@therumimillcrochet
@@kerriekean7401 be patient with yourself, it takes time. I highly suggest a row counter, life changing. The other thing that might be happening is your tension changing. If I make an arm early in the day and one later in the day, always, without fail one is bigger than the other. One I’m not exhausted from living life and the other life happened. 🤣😂 I promise there will be a point and it’ll all come together and be just right. 💗💗

I also wanted to apologize/explain that I am from Australia so I automatically use the spelling of 'Mum' instead of 'Mom'. @@kerriekean7401 yes, time of day truly makes a difference, strangely enough. I have quite a few pieces that are a little “off” because of that very thing. It’s totally normal. 😉oh no! You are just fine. I knew exactly what you meant. My husband is actually working in Perth at the moment, so I think we are pretty much neighbors at this point. 😍💗

What pattern do you use for your ribbon yarn baskets?
The pattern that I’ve found that I love is by Yarn and chai, and it’s called the herringbone round basket. Super easy and a quick make. 😁

Hi there! I have a small private group and I only do custom pieces for friends and family. I’ve kinda closed up shop though. I needed a change….so, that’s where this whole TH-cam stuff came into play. I occasionally take orders but I honestly just don’t have time to get them done like I once did.😁

How do you reach everything up high?
A stool, and I try to only put stuff up high that I know I won’t use much. In my second craft room video, I have a much better set up for my needs.
Just wondering if there is a way for me to turn off the background music? Really love what I have seen but I really struggle when there is music and you are talking …..
Unfortunately no…I’m trying to get that volume adjusted. It’s a different level in my editing software than when it’s uploaded. Thank you for the feedback. 😉

Hi Kris….you’re right. 🤦🏻♀️That was one of my first few videos and it took me a bit to figure out my sound mixing. The good thing is now, I know how to get the levels right. Glad you enjoyed the video the though…I promise, they are better now. ☺️💖
