I love this channel. Being a woman with long hair who really does not like styling, curling or even washing it lol. I usually just leave it. So reasons why I love this channel because it’s just on hair care and not so much drama how the mainly women Chanel are. I joined your Facebook group and also feel like everyone is so welcoming and not creepy. Thank you Travis for all you do for us Long hair community. 👍🤜🏽🤛🏻
My hair used to look similar to yours if I actually gave a shit enough to trim and style it. It's looking pretty awkward right now but im hoping that in a couple years it will look like yours in this video. I wanna be a rockstar too lmao
When I was a kid I had a buzz cut. I HATED it! But I had no say being a kid. When I got out of high school the long hair look on guys was becoming fairly popular. I tried to grow my hair but would get a lot of grief from family and employers. So I could only go so far. Fast forward to today. I'm now 70 years old. I started to grow my hair because shops were closed from COVID. But I decided to continue growing it. It's been over a year. I still get grief. People tease me about being a 70 year old hippie. I don't care. I gave up being concerned about what others thought a long time ago. And at my age, I'm just glad to have hair to grow.
Dude you have made awesome progress and it looks great. I bet it looks baddass rocking it out on the drums. Also, good luck on you're music, I'm also a fan of metal.
Hey Travis, I’ve grown for 3 years now. There are times where I get stopped briefly and get compliments. Every time I get a compliment, it makes me feel more positive about myself. Especially, that you don’t see many guys with long hair in public too.
I stumbled on your videos quite by accident. Seeing all this just seriously made me smile. Wonderful to see another generation open to the idea that men have the right to express themselves, too. :)
Our ancestors saw long hair as a way of being a man. In particular, my ancestors are Norse or (viking) as most people know them. They believed it was natural and a sign of strength, the longer the hair, the closer to mother earth. Also hair is believed to have a spiritual charge. It is tied to a sixth sense, from knowing that someone is behind to sensing things around you, including the weather. For me and my son growing our hair is part of our religion, our beliefs. In my opinion men should have long hair and not cut it. Keep it growing brothers. 💪🏻
What an epic video! I love before and after photos - it really shows the results of hard work and consistency. Really like how several transformation stories discussed how the man mane is part of who they are I couldn't agree more. Love it!

I had cut my hair off after a little over a year because I had to find a new job and wanted to play it safe for interviews. At my job I see a decent amount of long haired dudes so I decided the other day after my last cut that I'm ready to grow it back out again.

I have been growing mine for around 4 or 5 years now. Honestly I don't plan on cutting it anytime soon. The only downside to my hair is that already I am finding white hairs (I am 17). That doesn't bother me too much though (at least I think so). I will look like curly metal Gandalf.
I always had short hair. I decided to let my hair grow because of you but my hair is super curly. Never knew my hair was curly until i grew it out. It’s very hard to maintain . I don’t know what to do now.
Curly hair guys who want to grow out their hair takes a lot longer. I know. The struggle is real. I look like I have a damn helmet on my head, and it's been 9 months of growth.

I retired from the fire service in March of 2018. Before being a firefighter I was in the Army. I told every for years that the day I retire I’m done shaving and getting hair cuts. My hair is down to the middle of my back now. I do plan to take cut about 6” in the next week or two.
I didn't know it then, but I guess I started growing in July 2020... Seeing these transformations is just truly impressive! Long hair just looks so much better. I've been a short hair guy all my life; now it is time. Thank you
Trav I really love your contents but can u do some videos about fashion in every season because I don't know what type of style 😎 I'm wearing if I had informations about my style I will improve it to the next level so please inform us about that and thank u❤️
I got my hair cut in March, and they gave me a mullet! It eventually grew into an awkward shag.. Some days I want to cut it off. I wanted to go back in then lockdown happened, and life caught up with me
Hey man. I had long hair throughout my childhood and cut it in my mid 20s. I moved to Japan where short hair is pretty much required at all businesses. Recently i've been so tired with maintaining haircuts and using products in my hair. So I started growing it out about 10 months ago. I have curly hair, so to keep it looking more professional I've gotten a couple straight perms. It's a really good way to grow out length and keep curly hair looking good. At least, until you have the length to weigh down the bulk of the hair and or tie it back.
Wow i love this so much, i am from latinamerica and being a men with long hair is really hard, I am from a macho society so being gay AND having a long hair is like oh you wanna be a girl, like, wtf, no!.
I'm 64. I've had long hair all my life, except for a few years in my late 30s to early 40s where I wore a very short buzz cut. Women seemed to love it both ways. But I have very fine blonde hair (it's starting to gray now). Anyway, my hair breaks easily when I tie it up, and it leaves all these fine stringy bits that won't go into a ponytail, and they look terribly scruffy. My wife and kids and grandkids think it's cool, so yeah, while I still have a full head of hair, I'll keep it long.
So honoured to be chosen in the hair growth stories video! Everyone had great stories! I am inspired for more! Here's a snippet of me showing them off on Drums! Watch till the end! TH-cam link - th-cam.com/video/FMeZ_VK1JGA/w-d-xo.html
I started from an undercut for like a year from 2015-2016. Then grew the sides out and trimmed the top and did the hard part for about another year 2016-2017. Then grew the part out did the side swoop style thing from 2017-2019. The around December 2019 I started growing it out long. Now I’m Kindve right around collarbone length. It’s down to my shoulders but doesn’t lay on my shoulders if that makes sense. It’s more laying on my collarbone area and down my back some. Either way I’m still growing. Don’t really have a goal yet. But I want it to be fairly long. Like I want it to be laying on my shoulders.

im new to growing my hair, but unlike most of you, i have type 4 african hair, plus my receding hairline, yet im still growing my hair, my biggest mistake was not taking care of my hair which led to stunt growth of it, after growing it for 1 year and 6 months, i can tie it up and i have a small pony tail, but the front part is half as long as the back part, imagine fighting male pattern hair loss and having an african hair , my journey is 2x tougher than you guys and i will keep fighting
When I was 6 I was mistaken to be a female Because of my baby Face and kids from school would say stuff like "you look like a girl" and it really bothered me soo i had my mum cut my hair then I had short hair till lockdown bc of covid Now..i found an opportunity to let it grow I got pass my Awkward stage to coming along pretty well i use coconut oil on my hair and cold showers because cold water help hair growth been going at it since day one of lock down 🤠🥳
My curls ar tighter than the first guy, and I already don't like his style, I'm afraid of what my haur will look like when they are longer (and not straightened, already had straightened long hair, cut it and miss it)
Mine too! They are a little tighter than the first guy in the video and I've also grown my hair out and then made the mistake of straightening it and then straightening it again when the curly root started to grow; mistreating it even more, to end up getting it cut again! Now I'm letting it grow without carrying out any process or treatment, taking advantage of this quarantine. Even so, it is difficult to stay on my plan since in curly hair the progress is slower, I recommend that you do not give up! Cheer up bro!
Antonio Coronel I'm in France, we already had a quarantine (finished now, even though it's locally back here and there, but not where I am), I cut them during quarantine, notably because I tried straightening the roots but the hairdresser messed it and even after I went back it wasn't as straight as the rest (even though it was the same product) but damn I regret it and I want to grow it long, always dreamed of having it long but I don't want the messy curls that would make me look like Sideshow Bobo from the Simpsons or Mungo Jerry. My goals would be closer to Thor or Aquaman, but When I brush them without washing, boom, Bob Ross!
Antonio Coronel ah non, le français est très bon. Personnellement j’ai déjà laissé pousser un temps avant de défriser (straightening) mai je n’ai jamais aimé à part une fois défrisés
@@leschroniquesderick4109Merci beaucoup mon ami! The first time I had a straightening done, it was terrible and I had to cut all my hair! As time went by, better techniques such as keratin emerged. However maintenance is very expensive and demanding! Even thought the one who gave me this service, is a pretty good friend of mine, really professional and careful. I got tired of going through this process almost every month! On one occasion he would perform a treatment called Aqua, which by the way stinks of formaldehyde and your eyes cry as if you were chopping a sack of onions... and on the next month it was keratin to restructure. That smelled like chocolate hehe! however I got tired of doing it. And opinions were separated, some told me that my curly hair was much better, others told me that my straight hair looked great. But there were times when I had both textures; 25% curly from the roots and another 75% straight in the rest of the hair!
Antonio Coronel well, last my straightening was in july 2019, I was a test subject for a hairdresser trying new products (Mizani), which has two straightening solutions. The first one was too soft, terrible, but the second one was good, I liked it. Problem was only when I went for the roots, like six months later (yeah, took my time, didn’t bother me before that, and since I was a test subject for the first time, I had had nothing to pay, but there, to do the roots, I had to pay and it wasn’t cheap) and I went to the same hairdresser, but I wonder if she used the first one again, anyway I had to do it again, but since she’s far from my home I looked for another one closer and she also failed, I got pissed of, cut... and now i regret it
My goal is my lower back and I feel I have another 2-3 years. Thank you for the kind words Trav it means a lot that you featured me in your video. im new to growing my hair, but unlike most of you, i have type 4 african hair, plus my receding hairline, yet im still growing my hair, my biggest mistake was not taking care of my hair which led to stunt growth of it, after growing it for 1 year and 6 months, i can tie it up and i have a small pony tail, but the front part is half as long as the back part,
imagine fighting male pattern hair loss and having an african hair , my journey is 2x tougher than you guys and i will keep fighting
The Joey Jordison cameo tho
Mike looks exactly like Dez Fafara

Problem was only when I went for the roots, like six months later (yeah, took my time, didn’t bother me before that, and since I was a test subject for the first time, I had had nothing to pay, but there, to do the roots, I had to pay and it wasn’t cheap) and I went to the same hairdresser, but I wonder if she used the first one again, anyway I had to do it again, but since she’s far from my home I looked for another one closer and she also failed, I got pissed of, cut... and now i regret it
All these people look more handsome with long hair
