Can't imagine Vanlifing in Scotland or Ireland where my ancestors are from. What a dream! I hope she knows she doesn't have to explain herself being on disability to anyone!! You worked your whole life, you paid into it. It's YOUR money!
I did this for a long spell throughout EU after a personal crisis in Eng. Lots & lots of fun indeed. I hadn't stopped. I am now loving life in a remote corner of EU, a simple job & planning a new sailing life. Will never again live where it's overly built up & take every measure to protect my own mental health.
Love this channel. I hit my own rock bottom 7 years ago - best thing to ever happen. I rebuilt my mind in truth, opened my eyes to all the bull, walked away from my old life and built my van. Did that part time then in july I sold my flat and have just bought a 45ft canal boat to go continuously cruising in with my dog Moo. You can honestly find ways to live the life YOU want - necessity makes you inventive and hardship gives you resilience - dont let anyone tell you you cant. ❤ And ps....youre not on government money my darlin, you're getting back a bit of all you paid in over the years you worked. You keep healing. I promise, it gets better...and better 🙏
Thanks for watching, and we're glad you're enjoying the videos 😊 Sounds like an interesting story! Good on you for doing that, and congratulations on the Narrowboat, it seems like a lovely way to live. We wish you and Moo all the best 🙌🏼✨️
So awesome that in seeking your own healing you are now extending that possibility of healing to others through your Facebook group. We all need purpose in life, especially the very broken. You have purpose and get to heal as well! Beautiful! 💕🌷
Please, Do not think that that axe is your protection! You could easily be overtaken by a lunatic. It happened to my friend. Killed with his on axe after a struggle to gain control of it. I love that you are taking time to learn to care for yourself. 🎉
Absolutely lovely place to park when I lived van life I use to spend a long time in that location at least 3 nights a week and every one in that area are amazing people ❤️
Such a great person, healing and being there for others; that is a real job in my eyes. Love to you Vicki. Btw I am coming up to my 6th anniversary living in a small motorhome in Australia.
Absolutely brilliant lady. Ive been fulltime for 7 yrs now and can honestly say that i will never move back into brick's again. Great video and subbed ❤️💯👍🤟🐕
Hi lovely, just watched your video ❤. Im working and paying tax to pay for people's universal credit and im glad it helps people!! I have had 3 breakdowns and struggle everyday. You take as long as you need to heal yourself and if you need to be off work forever, you do it. Love yourself and take care, sending you all the love and peace in the world. Si and Share, West Midlands xxxxxx❤❤
Inspiring video and wishing full healing to Vicki. The van design is so her! I'm tied to some commitments and situations that keep me stuck in spiraling poor health but I am taking steps to freedom in a van, it will just take some time. I look forward to healing in nature; that scenery is so peaceful!
I love this video…so inspiring! I’m stuck in the city but I sooo want to break free. I hope that one of these days I can get the courage to do what this lady has done. Thank you!
Wow…. What a fantastic video, I throughly enjoyed that and what a great woman Vicki is! Her dog as well is an absolute beaut! Great words from Vicki, keep the great content coming guys!! ….. Smithy
Many thanks vicki for sharing. Acceptance is a strange beast. If people comment in a bitter, cruel manner, to me it reflects their own bitterness. Self acceptance is the most important thing. You have this. Creating community is yr gift. Thnku for the video.
She’s a scumbag that assaulted a farmer with an axe that was hosting her Facebook group on their land. She did it in front of everyone. She’s needs to be deplatformed.
Ii still think you are brave; it takes guts to take your freedom and persue happiness. You have made yourself a beautifull and cosy home! Enjoy your vanlife lovely lady!
Hi! I am a new subscriber to your channel which I find very interesting. The people portrayed in your videos are inspiring and their philosophy of life is enriching. I am watching from France where I live. Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to watching more of your videos.🙏👍👏
I wouldn’t know how to not live my way. I’m a people pleaser at heart and want everyone to be happy- and try to help others smile; but at heart…I’ve always done it my way. I lived in a van many times. Sometimes by choice. Sometimes bc it was the only roof over my head. I did it with a young child. We were basically homeless, but she didn’t realize it. It felt more like an adventure. I traveled every summer with her from the time she was potty trained until she was 12 and wanted to join a cheerleaders team and have time with friends. She ended up not becoming a cl…didn’t like their snobby attitudes. I always asked what she wanted from age 4 & up. Her teachers said she was years ahead in geography! You shared much about yourself 💜 Just wanted to reciprocate 💜 I’m here if you ever want a pen pal. On Twitter I’m @LindaMDickson3. Just remind me 🤭🫡🤭 I forget a lot 🤦🏻♀️ Have a great day, my new friend!
One of the better videos I have seen on vanlife. Thank you for the great content, and insight into your life. Have looked up the Facebook page and applied to join, I'm sure many other people will do now, thank you for the education from your experience.
I may live across the country but I’m still dealing with similar issues like step kids but they are adults. Now less than just a few years ago. And paying high taxes. And having health issues that probably wouldn’t be there had I broken free of all the things that kept me from living a life of freedom. I have an axe by my bed too! 👍
thank you guys for making this and for vicki for sharing her beautiful lifestyle offering inspiration to those who may need it. wishing vicki the best of luck
Beautiful free life yes I can see a bit of loneliness but you have the best friend ever your pet who is totally real always there when you need her with a happy wag of the tail and eyes that always see through to your heart… best wishes to finding yourself and being true to your beliefs… blessings wished for you both❤️❤️❤️😇
Love reading all the positive comments, I'm currently saving for my own van at the age of 32, been a dream for the past 10 years but unfortunately life has it's ways of holding you down.
Great vid, very positive, and explained it all perfectly. I don't mind picking up a bottle of water either. getting the plumbing sorted gives me something to look forward to!
I missed your last video, I'll catch up when I get back off my holibobs 😁. Think everyone you've interviewed have mentioned the word Freedom. That's an interesting thing don't you think? After all we're all free in the respect of not living in a dictatorship, well not yet 😂. Vanlife does give us Freedom. It's deep and undervalued untill you step in to an alternative lifestyle, be it water or wheels. Anyway. I'll stop rambling on 😂. Thank you for yet another fantastic interview. You're never going to run out of material 😂.
Loved this video and your so inspirational. I'm unsure what to do with my life recently turning 51 mortgage free. Fancy the idea of a narrowboat, camper van, off grid? Who knows? the world is my oyster. So glad you picked to park near Mam Tor on this video as I used to fell run around the Peak, especially living so close, the Peak District is amazing in all the seasons, however Mablethorpe is lovely when it's quiet. All the best and hope you heal quickly and find your inner peace x
I hate when people look down on others that need help from the government. My children struggle with trauma. They don't get any help. The one tries to work and it never works out. She needs to heal. Also, be on the right medicine..seeing a counselor, etc.
People are programmed robot slaves of the system thinking happyness starts with extern factors like status, money, material things that means nothing and its relativ and an illusion create by society. If your happyness depend on extern factors, you will never be happy because extern factors are endless. Thats why a lot of people buy stuff or look a certain way to create an illusion for the outside world out of emptyness.....sad. Happyness starts inside you. The more people around you, the more expectations, talk about others, lying, frustrations, negativity, jealousy, double standards, own benefits, hate, judge, comparing etc..... reflection of their broken souls. Alone or in solitude you have more strength, peace, power, happyness, freedom and time to reflect and work on yourself in the here and now where the magic happens. No, not feeling superior or better then others but more be carefully and aware. Be the light in your own life
As long as you are not parking at somebody’s else home, good for you.
She says she’s not brave but she really is. Living life her way on her terms. Be free and live life your way
She’s been attacking people. She’s mental
Can't imagine Vanlifing in Scotland or Ireland where my ancestors are from. What a dream!
I hope she knows she doesn't have to explain herself being on disability to anyone!! You worked your whole life, you paid into it. It's YOUR money!
She doesn’t have to feel bad because she’s on universal credit, I felt that of her . She’s brave and I have all my respect for her ✊
I love her and her realism. Found her very encouraging

Just feel like giving this lady a hug… Go girl!
She’s true human, a pleasure to meet.
She’s a scumbag that assaulted a farmer with an axe that was hosting her Facebook group on their land.
She did it in front of everyone.
She’s needs to be deplatformed.
Love your style..the tiles..your jacket..pants.
Good luck to this lady, she will be safe with her axe and her Staffy the most protective breed of their friend's and property.
