Loved this episode and your interior is stunning. I’d be so tempted to put a upvc window and door into that large opening tho so you can look out even in the depths of winter. And close the horse access door at night etc
What a well balanced couple, they’ve definitely got their priorities sorted. I love the idea of a horse box with that huge side entrance. A couple of jacks under the top corners and they’d have a raised balcony
This is one of my favorite van/box truck builds. I love that the large door opens up to the world around them, the best of course being in nature. Great couple, we can all see how calm you are from living how you want to. I’m really happy for you, love your pup and great set up. All the best to you both ❤
There food van has some amazing food. Trish and Mike seem to have found what makes them happy and it's amazing to see. I would love to have the freedom they have instead of doing the daily grind
I love this! Their life just seems so free and charmed. I love the idea of having a food business with my home right next to it. Life in the UK is getting harder, especially for the self employed. This is inspiring so thank you 🙏
Van life certainly does take the pressure off and I have never been so happy to spend money on something in my life, every little thing I do is a tangible improvement to my life unlike before where none of the money I spent improved my life meaningfully whatsoever. I could never save money before vanlife, now I work less and save more than ever and you realise how much of a scam our society is once you "escape it". Of course you can never do it entirely but van life is close enough, the best of both worlds even.
Definitely a unique setup with the side opening door. I like the way they paired vanlife with their food truck. They could do this anywhere and keep exploring. Keeping the inverter use to a minimum is key to saving power.
You know it - Friday - Liveration drop day 🥳! What a great on-the-road business they have - the good life for sure. Very homely inside too. Have a great weekend everyone!
Paper maps are better than Internet ones in a crisis as you will be able to plan routes through the back roads. I now have a regargeble battery jump-start that will also charge mobile phones and laptops. Even though I live in a bungalow in a rural village, i can be of grid or on the road very quickly. Dont start panic buying.
Very homey van build. Why haven't you put some fold down legs under that drop-down wall to your front room? It would create additional living space you can get creative with. Nothing permanent, of course. Kind of like a Murphy bed. But instead of a mattress a good hardwood floor👌.
Loved this episode. I really enjoy your style of shooting video. Hearing about the lives of the home dwellers and interview style interaction. Beautiful work, lovely home.
Lovely couple. So wish more people realised that as Trish said, some people just feel claustrophobic within four walls, and need the freedom of nomadic life. If we recognised this as a mental health need we could stop the legislative drive to push everyone into this pathetic system that just makes a small percentage of the population cash rich and everyone else unhappy. Nice optimistic video 👍👌🙏
they got a dog, got bunting.. what more do we want? bit of babysitting for the dog so you can shop maybe. but baically this is a paradise. xxx they can always do the business again, or aa different one with a trailer on the van?
For your ramp, I have a horsebox (as a horsebox) and wanted to go away with my horse and this started a whole series of ideas. I decided I could use 2 tripod car jacks with pieces of square board with rigid neoprene glued on them to hold up the ramp level (board distributes weight for the single jack points and neoprene protects the paint on the ramp). That way you have a bigger area off the ground. I just use the footstool I have for the back door to get up onto the ramp.
Definitely would recommend you guys adding additional cameras all around the van - better visual and safety when you’re driving or you’re sleeping in it. In addition, why don’t you guys use a pull out bed sofa and convert the old bed section into additional storage area.
Hi John & General.... could you please tell me where to buy your plastic belly box's?? that you have fitted to your pantech. Love your video...good vibes.
They are not poor though. They are saving on rent & utility bills etc & like she said, if they don't go anywhere, they are saving 95% of their wages. Even if they do travel, it will only be fuel that they need extra. The gas bottle will last ages as it's only used for cooking & electricity comes from solar panel & converter.
@@leonwilks4114 You are probably some sn*tty nosed freeloader still living at home with your parents. Do you actually know the people in the video or just jumping on every other comment boring them with your vitriol.
Tricia has a son who's 22. It was one of the things that didn't get mentioned and her only negative about van life was that she misses being around her son all the time 😊 They still get to see each each other regularly when were working back at the van so all good, but I do imagine van life with small kids would be hard 🙂
Good video, nice van indeed, but I can't help but think that the fact you paid 17.5k for that ex-horse box was a bit extreme, I've seen newer box trucks than that for anything between 5 & 8k, other than that it's all good, take care & be safe. 🤜🤛 Peace out people. 🤜🤛✌️✌️✌️✌️

Thanks for the kind words from people who've watched/enjoyed the video so far.
And thanks to liveration for featuring us 🙂

Nice, really love their setup, I’d be seriously tempted to think about having hinges at the top of the door too, so you can have a big rain awning

This couple looks so happy and content together. Lovely to see. I wish them many years of good health and happiness.👍🏻🤞🇨🇦
Hell yea for the sofa! :D
The super compact kitchen and bathroom set up is brilliant.
I realize I was smiling throughout the video and I almost died of laughter at the end!! THANKS !

Great van. Love the orange couch in contrast with the grey van.

Love it. Giving us more ideas for our future conversion. Happy travels guys 🫶
Nice set-up, nice couple. Thanks for sharing..
An awning would be nice so the ramp could be down if there was a bit if rain or wind.
Another wicked video guys!! ….Smithy

Paint your roof dark as well it will absorb more heat from the sun.
