Sooc are better than the edited. The skin tone looks much nicer and natural. I wish you would have mention the aperture for each photo. Or did you use 1.2 for all of them?

Yaron Harel I use F1.2 for all of them, I shoot wide open
SOOC looks better on my monitor (cheap Sumsung + Spyder calibration) too. Edited looks orange and unnatural on skin tone.

bro, 50mm 1.8 vs the 50 mm 1.2, is it better to just get 50mm 1.8 if i only occasionally shoot from that focal?

Great job to both of you. Been seeing you working multiple systems (Fuji, Canon, Sony, Panasonic). If you had to pick one system, to shoot everything on, which would it be and why?
Canon RF lenses I will choose. The RF L lenses spark joy for me 😄
@@caliallstaring In my limited time the RF lenses are really great. I'll be keeping an eye out for what they do with their next body. How do you feel about S1 system? Seems like the only drawback is the AF.
@@trogdor all the camera bodies are good enough these days. Choose the body with the best glass and features that fit your needs. No need to keep chasing specs and worrying about which camera does what better. All the modern bodies from Canon to fuji, Sony, nikon and Panasonic will be more capable than you or I are... Just shoot and enjoy. Canon RF glass is the best out there and the R body is more than capable.
@@Chazyfizzlez Yeah I'm not chasing the specs, I'm chasing the best work flow that balances limitations in the field, enjoyable shooting experience and not overly complicated post processing. Right now my main cameras are the A7III's. I'm able to shoot in low light and rely on the AF to end up with sharp images. but it's not enjoyable to shoot with and the post processing for the green and orange color casts in the skin tones is a pain in the ass.
@@trogdor I hear ya. I had an a7ii and switched to Fujifilm/Canon. I hear the a7iii has better "color science" than the old a7 but I just can't get along with the Sony bodies. I shoot portrait/fashion and have been enjoying the Xt3 and eos-r. I often prefer the eos-r but the Xt3 is wonderful to just put in the bag with a couple of lenses. Can't do that with the RF glass 😂

You always gives me hard times. When I think that 35mm will be my go to lens, then you upload a video with a 50mm lens, and the only how I can realize that it is an 50mm lens, that you put it on the title of the video :D
Do you have any suggestion when to use the 35mm and when to use the 50mm one? Does it have sense to own both focal length? Could you please help a beginner guy in this topic? :)

József Ködbaum if you need tight space shooting, use 35mm like sitting across table. Other than that, 50mm F1.2 L is the best in the line up for other scenarios

Beautiful photos. I have to say lighting is everything. Which no light the pictures did not look good. Then once you got into the light they just pop. You should try using a flash. With that canon glass I think the images would be incredible

Question why did you choose the 50mm over the 35mm
I was curious on testing the 50mm for this street style shoot. That was the reason :) 35mm is good for street style as well.

I have ef 100 f2.8 series , ef 135 f2 , rf 35 f1.8 and rf 24-70 f2.8, I am decided which lense to buy RF 50 or RF 85?
