- This walk takes in the two munros of Beinn a' Bheither at Ballachulish village. It was a superb walk in glorious conditions a the settled spell of weather over the last couple of weeks continues.
These two munros are well situated for panoramic sea views and for numerous tops of Glencoe, Mamore and Nevis ranges.
As always, the best footage on TH-cam! Thank you.
What a day that looks. Love how your footage captures the different aspects of the mountains as you progress along the ridge.
Hi Andrew, We were fortunate with the weather on this occasion but these two tops are terrific in all seasons and are well placed for stunning views. Many thanks for watching. Cheers
Fantastic views and photography! Many thanks 👍
Hi PPKay, Many thanks for taking the time to view our Glencoe outing. Cheers, Charlie.
Absolutely superb lads, what a great day,at least it was quiet and peaceful,no crowds well done lads, cheers.
Phil, We're getting into this mid-week walking... what a difference in the numbers but I'm sure that will change soon. Take care, Charlie.

What a view from the two tops! Never did these two; definitely now on the list! Thanks for posting!
Hi Rosa, Well worth a visit for the views from either top. We've come up in between the two tops from the north but I think the route shown above is the best. Enjoy it when it comes around... Cheers, Charlie.

Super vid! What an amazing day you had Charlie. I have done this route before but after watching this makes me want to do it again. Those views over Loch Leven and the pap. Amazing!
Hi Andrew, It's always worth considering when the weather is guaranteed clear as these are a cracking pair. Thanks for watching, Charlie.
@@charliemccartney7055 they sure are. Really enjoyed these. Did in a October once with a light dusting of snow. Cracking views!

Hi Robas Bobi, Many thanks for watching.... you can't fail when you have stick on weather. Cheers, Charlie.
Lovely to see you and Mike back at it. Thanks for the lovely views. I hope you have a cathartic season.
Hi Chris, We have had quite a good start back into the bigger hills so hoping this continues. A walking week planned up north soon so a few of the tops that we could only dream about during the restrictions are on the cards. Take care, Charlie.
Another superb Video Charlie - a great day. Your view over Ballachuillish and Loch Leven has just become my latest Screen Saver. Always used to be a Canny Chippy in Ballachuillish. Cheers-Les:-)
Hi Les, The view back to Glencoe across Ballachuillish takes a bit of beating, it's absolutely stunning. We'll need to try the chippy next time we're heading home, hopefully it's still open. Cheers, Charlie.
Really enjoy your videos Charlie they are superb I've done 191 munros but recently I've been doing a lot of low level walking must get back to the hills after watching your videos cheers Ian McKay Dundee

Great to see you two back up and running Charlie. Looking very spritely on that ridge, no bother 😎 What a superb day ! 👍👍
Hello Moses, It's great getting back out onto the bigger hills particularly when you get the perfect weather conditions combined with sea and mountain views. Many thanks for watching, Charlie.
A second watch and still spectacular
Hi Mike, Glad you enjoyed tagging along. This is a super pair in a spectacular location for panoramic views. ATB, Charlie.
Brilliant, very nice to see your perspective! We probably missed us just by a couple of days...ok we did a slightly different route so, need to do yours as some point so just love the area so much.👍
Hi Stripy, I noticed our outings must have been very close as we had similar weather conditions. The area is just terrific with many tops to chose. ATB, Charlie.
Awesome video. Never been to these hills but now on the list for this year.
Hi Roy, Certainly try and leave a good day for these two as the views are stunning. ATB, Charlie.
Another cracking video Charlie, did them two 2 years ago. I was close by on same day, Sgurr na h-Ulaidh in glencoe weather was fantastic and had the hill to ourselves.⛰👍
Frank.
Hi Frank, You would have had a cracker on Sgurr na h-Ulaidh.... you can almost touch it from these two :). Many thanks for watching and I hope this weather window continues. Cheers, Charlie.
Fantastic, spectacular, amazing and quite good! So good in fact you did it twice. Hopefully try this walk in the coming weeks. Cheers again Charlie. Paul.
Hi Paul, Just finished watching you latest movie. What a super day you had. Thanks for watching and fingers crossed this weather window will continue for a while. Cheers, Charlie.
@@charliemccartney7055 Hope so Charlie...was up at Beinn Achaladar and Beinn a Chreachain yesterday and hoping to head to Kinlochleven on Sunday! famine and feast!!!
Fantastic stuff Charlie.
Stunning video.
I was on Meall Glas on the same day, skies were a bit hazier there.
Keep up the good work.
Hi Max, Was that not a fantastic day.... hope your own outing went well. ATB, Charlie.
What a day. Didn’t get around 10% of the views when I was there 😂 would have definetely retraced the steps looking at this now as the trudge back via the col wasn’t very enjoyable. Good to see more new videos
Hi David, We didn't fancy the walk back around the hill in the shade and with restricted views. Always worth considering going up again. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Charlie.
Superb Charlie, what a day. Hope this wee run of weather continues.
Heading for Beinn a Ghlo tomorrow - will see how I get on with the 6hr sprint!
Hi Paul, Hope your trip to Blair Atholl goes well today in this settled spell of weather. Thanks for watching, Charlie
Great stuff, Charlie, brings back many memories. When we lived in Fort William we often used to climb to Sgurr Dearg by its north ridge, a direct route with excellent views across Glencoe and Loch Leven. At first I thought you would descend that way. In the old days there was a track through the forest back to the car park by the church, but I don't know what the state of the lower ground is like now since they felled the trees at the foot of the ridge.
Hi Ian, I think there is still a good track on the north ridge as we saw it while heading out of the village but with the short grass and open hillside it was easy enough to drop into the corrie on the return. Take care, Charlie.
Great one that Charlie thanks for sharing
Hello CB Warrior, Many thanks for taking the time to watch our Glencoe outing. ATB, Charlie.
Absolutely stunning Charlie, thankyou so much for your superb video, been doing lots of low level walking recently, need to get back up high soon Ian Mckay Dundee
Hi Ian, Glad you enjoyed seeing our trip to Glencoe.... it was a stunning day. You certainly think of getting higher when days are like that. ATB, Charlie.
Great video did the same last September in similar weather.Lost a pair of prescription sunglasses just before the scramble i think, didn't see them did you, haha.
Hi David, Nae luck with the glasses :). Glad you enjoyed repeating the trip following your Sept visit. many thanks for watching. ATB, Charlie.
Smashing mate 👌
Hi bivboy10, Many thanks for taking the time to watch our trip to Glencoe. ATB, Charlie.
Brilliant Charlie you got some stunning views from they 3 tops. Was that the "School House Ridge" route?
Hi Peter, It was a cracking day, couldn't get any better. Yes, the scramble up the ridge is the school house ridge I believe but there isn't much in it. Take care, Charlie.
Never tire of watching this video Charlie, stunning, how many Munros have you climbed Charlie? Ian Dundee
Hi Ian, That was a special day and a terrific walk. Mike and I are working through or 5th & 6th round of Munro’s. I started earlier than Mike with a lot of the initial tops completed with my Dad. We should complete next year if all goes well. Cheers, Charlie
Another cracking video Charlie, a superb day for a hike! Have you done the beast liatach? The sheer drops are very scarey in parts! What is your favourite mountain? I have done all of glen Coe but have a soft spot for Ben lui! Best wishes mark shaw.
Hi Mark, Many thanks for watching. Yes, Liathach is a classic and Glen Torridon is easily my favourite glen in Scotland with many superb hills to chose. Take care, Charlie.
A great day out indeed Charlie. How many have you and your buddy done up to now each and combined 🤔 must be nearing 2000?
Hi Steve, Having been walking the Scottish hills for +40 years we have a combined total of +3000 but the experiences across the years are priceless. ATB, Charlie.
Nice! Check out mctrail rider’s mtb version of this hill
Donnie, I've seen a few of mctrail rider's movies.... extreme mountain biking that's for sure. ATB, Charlie
