- This circular walk takes in the two munros on the east side of Loch Treig at Fersit. A super straightforward loop of contrasting tops gave stunning panoramic views of the surrounding tops all enjoyed in settled Spring weather.

Hi Det, Loch Mullardoch without the boat is a long day. We've walked along the north side of the loch twice before but the boat certainly makes short work of the distance. This weather has been amazing and hoping it continues. Take care, Charlie.

Fantastic views. This April is notable for the low humidity as well as the lack of rain, and I think this accounts for the incredible clarity of the air and the far seeing views. I dream of getting views that clear in Scotland. It is notable how barren the landscape looks, it reminds me a bit of south east England after a prolonged summer drought. I guess this is due to a combination of the exceptionally dry April, and because the growing season hasn't got going fully that far north (it has been a chilly April which has knocked growth back), so the yellows and browns are last years perennial vegetation that has died off over winter and has yet to sprout new growth.
Hi Adam, The last two weeks in April & the first three in May are normally the best time for the Scottish hills. This year the frost has lasted longer and harder than normal but things are slowly coming alive in the hills. Many thanks for watching. ATB, Charlie.

Hi Kuba, These two are certainly worth doing in various seasons as its a totally different experience. I use the GoPro Hero 9 for capturing the outings. I've had a few and are generally happy with the versatility and output quality. ATB, Charlie.

Hi Gordon, Just after the farm you head south keeping the Allt Chaorach Beag on the left. The path isn't complete and you end up breaking right to find your own route onto the shoulder. Cheers, Charlie.
