I've seen different Dutch contractor tracked vehicle solutions to wet maize harvest. This version was almost the best at reducing losses and reducing soil poaching. The only thing required was a direct conveyor belt loader off that dumping bin 06:18 to go into a road trailer and remove the need for an excavator. That would be as good as it gets.
Yes, an engine powered unmanned conveyor with a moving floor hopper would generally remove the need for the excavator. I have seen such a thing for root crops at a potato processing plant and they could be made mobile.
I was hoping that chopper operator was going to give those cows a little snack sillage. Very good video. Every acre on a farm needs to earn its keep, it's good to have a service that can harvest the crop when it needs to be harvested no matter what the conditions are.
After investing all the time and effort into preparing soil, planting, fertilize etc. You made all the cost for the full season to grow, you dont want to harvest cuz of some rain? Good some contracters have invested in these type of material, no matter what the conditions are.
They got the job done in very challenging conditions. Well done. The Morooka are a very versatile piece of kit👍. However i would not like to be paying for that job🙈
Mooie video, levert altijd mooie beelden op maar wat een ellende in het land.. Vandaag eindelijk een droge dag, wij gaan vanmiddag wat peen proberen te rooien. Leuk dat je weer regelmatig video's post 👍
Im really curios to see the following work that has to be done on the same fields to prepare them for the next season. Like how they deal with the water, how they level the mud tracks left from the harvest and other operations the are done after the harvest.
I'm curious as to the need for the rotating dumpers. Is it just because the tracked machines that have happen to do that? It doesn't appear they have a need for dumping perpendicular to the tracks or a need to rotate 180 degrees like they do in the video since the tracked vehicle should be able to essentially zero turn on the spot.
Mol, niet ver van hier 😊 lijkt meer op rijstvelden dan maïs hehehe... Toch altijd geweldig om te kijken... Zullen men boeren roots nog zijn zeker??? Daarom maar FS22 spelen 😅
There doesn't seem like there is any real plan for how to harvest this stuff. It's amazing to me, cuz they have some expensive equipment. But the entire process is very harum scarum.
@@horstguntherludolf6357 didn't know you could get auto-aim for John Deere. I know with Claas' system you just point out the bin and the machine figures out itself where to aim, and when to stop when the bin is full

I can't speak for all of Europe but in Ireland corn is a generic term for grain crops including wheat, barley and oats ect. The particular crop being harvested here is called maize

@Cornholio thanks for that. A direct way to the trucks using that vehicle.

Wow. That's some challenging terrain.
I wish I could taste those fresh vegetables right off the vine
Ik ben bang dat dit veel vaker gaat voorkomen in de nabije toekomst.
Ja en dan niet door de ons wijsgemaakte klimaatverandering maar doordat de structuur van de grond totaal vernield is.
That's unbelievable machinery were there's a will there's a way
Good content. Unique machines. Expensive feed. Stay safe. We quit milking cows.

Great video!
*Amazing, the amount of effort put into producing silage - does the payoff truly justify the hard work?*

I think is pretty obvious they have a plan to harvest. All the specially modified machines didn't happen by accident.
How do they control that shoot into the dumper as well as watching where you drive?
It is an automatic system using a camera. Back in the days it was all skill of the driver.

I do believe it’s possible without the aid of computers, we’ve been doing it for decades.
Its called Active Fill Control from John Deere. But not sure if this harvester has it.

Making the best of a bad job. But you’ve got to wonder if whole crop rye would have been cut earlier in the year so hopefully better conditions.
Great machines have helped humans, but do they have any impact on our living environment? such as emissions, noise? and what are the solutions?

Didn't know they grew corn in paddy fields
