- Maize harvest in Barneveld with a John Deere 7400 on tracks from contractor Oussoren from Westbroek. The maize was transported from the land with tracked dumpers and transferred to containers. It was expected that the land would be very wet and muddy, but fortunately that was not so bad. The transport of the maize was done by reloading the maize with a Liebherr 916 in Fendt's with Schuitemaker silage wagons of contractor Gebr. Blankespoor B.V. from Harskamp. The maize went to dairy farmer V.O.F. Van Heerikhuize in Lunteren.
Mais hakselen in Barneveld met een John Deere 7400 rupshakselaar van loonbedrijf Oussoren uit Westbroek. De mais werd van het land gereden met rupsdumpers en overgeladen in containers. Er was verwacht dat het land erg nat en modderig zou zijn maar dat viel gelukkig heel erg mee. Het transport van de mais werd gedaan door met een Liebherr 916 de mais weer over te laden in Fendt's met Schuitemaker silagewagens van loonbedrijf Gebr. Blankespoor B.V. uit Harskamp. De mais ging naar melkveehouder V.O.F. Van Heerikhuize in Lunteren.
Mais häckseln in Barneveld mit einem John Deere 7400 Raupenhäcksler des Lohnunternehmers Oussoren aus Westbroek. Der Mais wurde mit Raupenkippern vom Feld abtransportiert und in Container umgefüllt. Es wurde erwartet, dass das Land sehr nass und schlammig sein würde, aber das war zum Glück nicht so schlimm. Der Transport des Mais erfolgte durch Umladen des Maises mit einem Liebherr 916 in Fendt's mit Schuitemaker Silierwagen des Lohnunternehmens Gebr. Blankespoor B.V. von Harskamp. Der Mais ging an den Milchbauern V.O.F. Van Heerikhuize in Lunteren.

marvolous idea having all the machines on tracks , wont matter how wet it gets you will still be able to harvest & so get lots of work ,no one will be able to travel on the fields , the tracks dont leave a mark , well done to to you all , the Dutch are clever buggers eh , regards from the UK
Yes indeed they had after this field extremely wet fields en with this machines it was no problem.

I have an idea..... 40 foot box, open on top, angers in the bottom and feed the chop to a 6 foot wide lift (chain/paddles) that would transfer the product into the transports. Eliminate the BACKHOE and increase efficiency. Happy New Year...

...oder lasst die Raupentransporter auf eine Rampe fahren, so dass sie direkt in die Strassentransporter kippen können, oder den Kipper so hoch ansetzen, dass Sie direkt überladen können. Das würde die Container und den Bagger überflüssig machen. Ansonsten coole Idee mit den Raupen 👍

When the vehicle you are chopping into is getting fun have the empty vehicle on the outside (right side) of vehicle. When full then adjust spout to start on empty vehicle and full vehicle pulls away and empty works towards chopper.... There will be zero stopping to change vehicles.

I remember them days myself except my job was kinda a Forman over a few and I cut the timber to the rest of the bunch could deal with it or if it was to muddy we’d get field stone out.

Impressive machines. My question is though, if they have to use foragers & special track machines to harvest a crop of Maize, should they be growing it there in the first place. There’s lots of places in Europe now where it’s questionable about trying to grow Maize. Environmentally it’s not good.
Here the weather is always different and this year there is no problem and really good maize! That's life and nature, we don't have influence on that.
In Canada we have wheeled tractors with the big wagons chase the chopper and load directly. Is the ground very soft or are you trying to reduce soil compaction?
Yes they had this day extremely wet fields after this first field, it was so wet that no tractor can drive on it because it was all water and mud...

Ja klopt en ze hadden ook verwacht dat het heel nat zou zijn. De stukken na deze waren heel erg nat en zacht en daar kwam je met een tractor bijna niet doorheen.

Sie hatten an diesem Tag wirklich nasse Felder und deshalb haben sie dieses Team gegründet. Zum Glück war es auf diesem Feld nicht so schlimm, aber danach war es furchtbar nass und schlammig, was mit einem normalen Traktor nicht möglich war, deshalb.

Bei mir in der Gegend sind die Felder auch oft sehr nass, aber bei uns wird dann meistens ein großer Traktor oder Radlader zum abschleppen bzw rausziehen genommen für die Abfahrer.
Dauert es mit dem Bagger nicht viel länger?
Ich bin kein Profi - nur Beobachter und Fan ✌️
Es ist nicht so schlimm und es ging auf diese Weise sehr einfach und effizient, vor allem auf den Feldern darunter, wo es wirklich ein großes Schlammbad war, durch das man kaum hindurchkam, die Raupen mühelos hindurchfuhren und die Traktoren ordentlich darauf warten, befüllt zu werden kann daher hin und her fahren. Es lief also trotz der schlammigen Felder eigentlich perfekt. Herzliche Grüße!@@380NM_RWD

Danke! Nach diesem feld saßen sie den ganzen tag im extremen schlamm, den man mit einem normalen traktor nicht durchkommt. Dies war der beste Teil zuerst.

Great concept when dealing with poor ground conditions, but why in this case not fill the trailers directly when the ground seems dry enough? Just an awful lot of handling, I’m sure there’s an explanation.

No idea, but this contractors are helping each other because we had this year a lot of rain and lot of land is too wet to drive with tractors.
