How do you plug in Circuit Tracks to the PC? Is it through the same USB C type connector on the back of Tracks that is used for charging the battery? I don't see the USB type B connector like on the older Circuit Groove Box and MonoStation.
thanks for checking out the video! if you want to get more out of the synth on your circuit tracks, you might want to check out my video about fundamental synth sounds in electronic music: th-cam.com/video/NLbT5JMcQXs/w-d-xo.html
hey, so yeah if you use components on its own, you can't hear the sound. you only can if you have the tracks plugged in at the time. it's a weird limitation when you consider that the engine is entirely digital anyways, and it makes it hard to do sound design sometimes. even with that, components is still very worth it to improve the functionality of the tracks.
@@easyandnice yeah, when you have it plugged in, the audio comes through the tracks itself. it is good, but i would prefer to be able to just have a preview within the software without having to connect everything.
I appreciate this immensely. Your tutorial easily the most useful I've found.
thankyou! that means a lot:) novation components is very useful but not the most clear program.
Another great video! Thank you.
thanks for watching the video! glad you enjoyed it:)

So you can't hear the sound while editing parameters on components? If so, that is ridiculous...

@@isaachorgan So you mean you can hear the sound from the Circuit Tracks when being plugged? Then that is nice.
