Question: Let's say, I want to record into two chained patterns each with 32 steps. How do I do that? I only managed to have 32 steps in pattern #1, but pattern two always falls back to 16 steps. Guess I'm doing something wrong. Thanks :) PS: Great tutorials by the way
Sorry you're having problems with that. Have you ensured that the second pattern is 32 steps long? This can be switched on and views toggled between using the dedicated '1-16 17-32' pad. With the length set you can then head to Patterns view and chain the two Patterns together by pressing and holding the first and then pressing the second.
This video is obsolete and teaching the wrong way. You are not supposed to clear the patterns in order to get them muted in different scenes. Firmware 2.0 introduced saving the track mute states into scenes.
Thanks for your feedback! Whilst the information here isn't necessarily obsolete or wrong as it's still very effective, we did indeed introduce a new way to work with Scenes in our v1.2 firmware update.
@@formalrabbit6020 this confused me too. There's a pad you have to toggle - it's the pad below the "synth one" pad on the mixer page. 2nd row, 1st pad. You put that on and then it saves mute states 🙂
I think the Novation crew is generally stoned. Not a joke. I've spend hours to figure out stuff, but I think I have to give up; still no clue about macros or if it even comes with an internal memory. Not a SINGLE clue 😮
how can I add the chain or repeat only a scene? A project which was I opened they make a chain 10 scenes how I broke that chain? thank you ...
