I'm proud of Cam Newton for recognizing his flaws as a man and understanding that this is an issue that is bigger than him. It's great leadership. We keep talking about how athletes and entertainers are not role models and parents should be. That may be true, but it can only help when they carry themselves as role models and leaders.
