I wanted to like the SeqTrak but the sketchy build quality, lack of an onboard screen, tiny buttons, too many dual button presses, dependencies on a tablet or computer, and Yamaha’s way of limiting functionality just kills the product. It was a great idea ruined by poor execution. It seems to be a commercial failure.
@@matthewgaines10 im not sure whether or not it is a commercial failure, but I definitely think that if it were to be released sooner it may have been better for Yamaha. I can see that there are a lot of quirks with the device that many can’t get past. However after spending a lot of time with it, I somewhat enjoy the hybrid workflow. But I don’t see myself fully finishing a beat without help from the app.
song @ 1:52 ?
I think it’s called smooth lounge samba (mi barco) it’s some stock music tbh
No choke groups? That’s a deal breaker. That’s why I didn’t like the Electribe Sampler
@@MrOuija-rr8kq yeah it’s limited in that aspect, that’s why I make my chops in ableton and import them in afterwards
