I used to be a product demonstrator for Roland UK, and was given the first JP-8000 in the country to play with. Soon after this they introduced Groove Products, MC-303 and so on. They sucked from that point on, I begged them to introduce something like a reissue of their classics (not those Boutique toys) but they weren't interested. Their strap line used to read 'We Design The Future', now it should read 'We Make Crappy Little Toys'. It's such a shame that the same company who brought us classics that shaped so much electronic music over the decades now seem to have run out of ideas and continue to recycle the same junk every few years.
I agree totally. Roland used to be the brand everyone wanted. Now they hold the world record for how many products they can make with the same stuff inside.
@@paulc7798 Sadly Roland are not the only ones recycling to milk dry their customers. Each time a 'new' synth is produced I think it's nothing new; actually worse in many cases. They all sound the same to me, but more clinical, almost VST like, and not nearly as warm as the originals. Another problem is investing any finance into gear when music pays nothing unless huge tours and merchandise; Spotify and similar companies are a joke where 'payment' is concerned. @@Adjustmentxdisorder The PO-33 does some things that the P-6 doesn’t. I have both and sm keeping both.
It’s going to be great for ambient
What am I missing? The Circuit Rhythm seems to have all these features in superior lay out. What makes this one special? Don't get me wrong, I have the E4, J6 and S1. Love them. But don't see what makes this special...
Cuz this things half the price?
Its £100 more expensive

@@baronvongreenback fair point. Although I bought it new for €200

@AndertonsKeyboardDept-n9l And i absolutely agree for that ;).JK...more seriously...i m a french guy and i absolutely love your videos...thank u for your job and fun.
This is a total sp202
Just what the world needed another fart recorder.😜
Amazing how they actually sell their lack of memory and therefore turning down the resolution with the beauty of "low fi".
That is "Its not a bug, its a feature" 2.0
I said it before amd I say it again "LOW FI" is just a made up fancy word for people working with crap or not knowing what a DI Box does. Period.
Some of us actually like the lofi sound 🤷🏻♂️
do not like lithium ion battery this shit has to stop jeez
6 seconds??? Are you serious??? Lmao... What a joke... Next...
After doing 4000 videos, I'd of thought you would of learnt to set the shutter speed
Just get the ko2 trust me :)
Ko2 sucks bro. TE makes overpriced toys for kids that dont know anything bout making music.
Crap lil sampler that doesn’t hold a candle to the ko2 what a piece of crap and they are deleting negative comments bs
Almost a year on and I STILL don't have resample or pattern chain on my ko2...
Are u joking just use a cable easy watch a video boom pattern chains are instant
@@Tripwelleverday Link? also, what's your solution for the lack of resample?
Only kids buy TE gear sincce they fall for the looks and have zero tech skills. We all know the sp 404 mk2 is the king/
@@TheChameleon2008 obvs you haven’t had a ko2
I used to be a product demonstrator for Roland UK, and was given the first JP-8000 in the country to play with. Soon after this they introduced Groove Products, MC-303 and so on. They sucked from that point on, I begged them to introduce something like a reissue of their classics (not those Boutique toys) but they weren't interested. Their strap line used to read 'We Design The Future', now it should read 'We Make Crappy Little Toys'. It's such a shame that the same company who brought us classics that shaped so much electronic music over the decades now seem to have run out of ideas and continue to recycle the same junk every few years.
Nurse! Grandpa's out of bed again!
@@schmapps1 Yep, the Roland line of products is getting very old.
The internet has destroyed the music 'business'.
OK boomer!
less than 6s of mono sample memory @ 44.1k is a joke
Maybe you're just not very creative?
@@alanredversangel That drum loop he demonstrated - Theres probably not enough sample time left for a variation or couple of fills - you ok with that?
@@alanredversangela granular sampler needs more sample time. this is just cheaping out by roland. pot and kettle on the creative front!
@@annother3350 If I wasn't I'd buy something better. These Aira things are great for the money. I've taken my T-8 on holiday, the kids have played with it while waiting for things, I've recorded with it. The limitations don't really affect how fun or useful they are for me to be honest.
It's 5.9 sec. per sample, not total. With 6 pads x 8 banks that's over 4 1/2 minutes of total sample time at full resolution.
