A lot of the escape rooms seem to use the 'skip a double battle with only one Pokémon" thing, but since not everyone knows that interaction, it's nice that this one hints at it with the twins early on. Good implementation. =)
Hey man, such an entertaining video once again! Love to see you playing my games and having a brief mental breakdown in between. Wouldn’t be the same without!
Just wanted to say thanks for always being a positive and wholesome content creator online. It’s good to know there’s solid people like you in the community.
11:39 there is a way to make this battle consistent. If you lead with yamask and quagsire, both mons will target quagsire with grass moves (because they're running on gen 3 ai and see the kill), and you can switch that slot out to girafarig for the free turn to use trick room. Then you can switch yamask for quagsire, and girafarig's skill swap goes first. Then, you can just use surf or tail whip so that you don't have to rely on the opponent not gaining mummy, and the breloom will always eventually switch, but you were still trying to gather knowledge at that point, so it makes sense that you wouldn't have known that guaranteed switch.
like, sure, maybe it's a problem with the hack that there is a luck-based way to cheese past the intended solution, but the puzzle was not built on luck like you seem to be implying in this section
Cool to see the different ways people beat the trainers. I beat may with makuhita surviving. Basically the same strat expect after two layers of toxic spikes I use trick room let the meganium kill the Yamask, then I use dig to avoid nasty explosion. Then dig, dig, bullet punch and makuhita avoids any damage
12:00 Pretty sure the AI would 100% prio a grass move on quagsire, and not do electric damage, over having your girafarig out for a random move. Which also baits the attack to the point that neither of the two would get afflicted with mummy, which also solves the second issue you had. Lol.
A cool nuzlocke to watch you take on would be pokemon colosseum! It's a fun game, decently challenging, and it already has a small pool of encounters. If you fail to catch a shadow pokemon the first time you see it you don't get another chance until post game. Plus keeping pokemon alive in constant double battles can be brutal.
The NPC AI does not know to avoid abilities that grant immunities until it has used a move and had it fail. Useful to know for nuzlockes too, though rare to ever matter.
I can't bother to create an account to tell Wiz but it could make the everstone have some use if he patched the gen2 effect into it, that it prevents the use of evolution stones. Having it's whole purpose to be removed from the kirlia is better than to have no effect at all.
Wait am i missing something or couldn’t you just catch scyther since he has cut then make your other Pokémon faint skipping the double battle and skipping the entire phase of needing kirlia to evolve into gallade??
@FlygonHG that was a good run man I actually thought that this escape room was gonna be as long as the first one you did because those escape rooms can be very torturous but I enjoyed seeing you do this keep up the great work man! 😁
Oh it's this infamous escape room, thought it would be a different one using the same layout. Seeing the "updated" rules, the only one that needed to be added was the one level up rule. The others make it too much like cheating and just reinforces regular 'mon logic therefore acting as an elevated hint system along with Misty telling you about the dropped master ball. And I'm shocked they didn't add a speed-up rule for the time reveal at the end.
i reckon at that level you'd run out of PP before killing it - even if you COULD it's meant to just send you back so you fight, but don't outright beat, the team per its hint

"The gifted child to average adult pipeline is tough" too real dude
i thought the same 😂
this guy has a doctorate soooo idk about average lmao
@@Zmargo702 I have a Masters and still feel average tbh
@@Zmargo702 the average guy can get a master with enough effort and time
Lemme tell ya, it's not as painful as the "gifted child to significantly below average adult" pipeline

so the only way beep beep pony won't be the one who continuously gets away is through master ball. i see...
"My condiments don't reproduce."
Are you sure about that?
Challenge. Pokemon OR/AS using only CUTE MOVES
Imma use a cute move on YOU
@@nb4398 Which one? 😍

I think "come up with an alternative outro that you can use for your non-nuzlocke videos" fits perfectly.
Bro did I miss a ZygardeXY segment recently?!?!?!?

Honestly, now Im curious about the first guy in the PokeCenter who says he won't talk to you until you have more pokemon xD

Me too
@@PlatyRushIt’s an offer :)

As someone who could never beat the elite 4 as a child (I.e. 0 game knowledge) these videos always fascinate me so much

love these videos
Finally, GarchompFJ returned!!! Return of the king
That song you played at the ending is one of my favorites in all of Pokémon.
The thumbnails are so good keep it up
I was just thinking last night that someone should do one of these escape rooms with Jigsaw as a character somehow lol.
That hotdog text would get me too
Why does everyone seem so eager to lock you away? What are you not telling us...?
You'd think Flygon would stop ending up on escape rooms but here we are again
I've actually beaten this escape room. Thw hardest thing for me was the revive via level up.
"Girafaridge" lmao

There has to be a popular streamer race whenever the next escape room drops. Watching the first person finish it is the best
2:58 HelloFresh has always owned Factor, EveryPlate, and Green Chef, but maybe the integration has gotten better or something recently.

I was already thoroughly locked in for this video. And then Beep Beep Pony showed up. I became doubled locked in at that point

The gifted child to adult pipeline is tough!!! Yes!
You can restore a Pokémons HP by depositing it into the PC and then retrieving it. So you could have saved your rare candy.
Wait am i missing something or couldn’t you just catch scyther since he has cut then make your other Pokémon faint skipping the double battle and skipping the entire phase of needing kirlia to evolve into gallade??

The "gifted child to average adult pipeline" got me right in the Achilles' feels.
your face cam blocking part of the text is pissing me off lol let me read!!!!!!!!!
A seamless fusion of platforming, exploration, and storytelling.
0:03 Not the Toys “R” Us in Dedham 😭😭😭
I love that the final solution was not to fight at all.
There are way too many Factor ads, recently. I'm starting to get ticked off at whoever keeps ordering so much advertising.

Wish there was a Pokéstar Studios escape room honestly.
Is there a full length VOD for this one? I love watching these video game escape rooms!
man flygonhg is funny asaf cant stop laughing in this video, realy good script writing
the "Traffic on the 95 🙄" text is so accurate
Hard to beat the Beep Beep Pony for sure
haha this one is the easiest of Wizz Escape Romm but still pretty funny
Me still praying for a Holskern sponsorship again. lol
I like the double battle problem, but not as a final puzzle. There should’ve been something better for the climax imo, too many red herrings
Yo!!! Never been here this early. I always enjoy your stuff Flygon!!!
Congrats on the new sponsor!

Bet you can't beat a playthrough of Pokemon Unbound ( Fire Red Rom Hack) ;) ;)
Wait, so can you win without the giraffe?
No because you need the giraffe to reach the apple to get Kirlia to join your team
