8:08 I think it was seriously impressive that you managed to, not only find, but record footage of a real life Pawniard. This is what sets you apart from the rest of the content creators on youtube, keep it up!
Just wanted to say it makes me incredibly happy to see how both your channel and you as a content creator have grown in the last year since I accidentally discovered your channel. You can really see the improvement in your play and the confidence in how you present the narrative. Absolutely love your work Flygon and can't wait to see what else you come up with 🤘
I love the plotline that Mr. Stone has not started therapy, realised that the relationship with his son needs space, the unprofessional therapist and him are now dating, they already may or may not have a kid called Nosey and that Steven now has a stepmom who knows *everything* about him already so they do not need to build a relationship.
One of my favorite things about your videos is how effective a storyteller you are. Even in this video which I already knew the outcome of (having watched the highlight vids) I started to doubt if I was misremembering how that final battle went. It truly sets them apart from just telling us what happened during a nuzlocke run. Every video is a unique experience. I was also wondering if you ever thought about doing a "pure type" challenge where you can only use single-type pokemon (for example you can use the Treeco line since its all pure Grass but you could only use mudkip of the Swampert line because it gains a secondary typing when it evolves). Basically halving your STAB options and defensive capabilities, so it might be fun to come up with strategies to account for that. Also you straight up have to give up on using flying types since the only pre gen 8 pure flying type is Tornadus.
A great video as always! Can't wait for the next one! Also 8:07 is possibly the greatest pawniard cosplay, choosing a cycling helmet for the head is * chef's kiss *
I swear every video of yours gets better and better. Amazing script and editing. I was following this run on the vods and caught parts of some it live on twitch and you have done SUCH a great job of capturing the fun and pure enjoyment of your streams. You're so talented. I cannot wait for part 2.
Some tips for those who want to play IE: Brawley is 100% physical. Harden+Recover+Leftovers Modest Starmie can set up on the Meditite and then you just have to watch out for Knock Off Crit from Hariyama and stall out Pay Backs from Lucario by not attacking. Wattson is completely special meaning just set up amnesias with Snorlax, rest to stay healthy and shake off statuses and Bulldoze+Body Slam for damage and you pretty much can't lose. Flannery is vulnerable to Simple Magcargo. Just Shell SMash to +6 against the Torkoal alternating Amnesia and Recover to keep from falling too low and +6 power Gem should sweep. Norman is tough but Cofagrigus and any Ghost type with levitate are excellent into him. Just know the AI doesn't know Gengar is Levitate until it attacks. So it can be 50/50 you might switch something into an Ground move on any of his mons that have both Dark and Ground coverage. Shelly likes to set up Hail but A. Ninetales is really quick. So pretty much any weather setter can lead and override it taking away her biggest advantage. Just wash out if you go with a rain team as her Ludicolo does have swift swim. Winona is scary. I don't really have good advice on that fight. Tate and Liza are mainly special attackers who use an Inverse battle setting and like to set up Trick Room. You know what's really good there? A Snorlax who just barely outspeeds their Mega Slowbro turn 1. So you can double up into it and hopefully take it out before it can do anything as Claydol will usually just set up Trick Room. Then -1 speed Snorlax can outspeed everything in Trick Room to hit hard Hammer Arms (and Body Slams into Lunatone and Solrock) Juan is also a bit weather dependent but sun setters have the baggage of being weak to his type. You can go with a Grass type to just set up Sunny Day but his lead Politoed actually hits really hard with Boomburst. So you have to watch that and make sure it's not going to derail any strat you're going for. Sunflora who is now Grass/Fire and gets Drought is probably good into him but haven't personally used. Have also seen someone sweep him with Mega Sceptile. Weather is very good. Set it up when it advantages you or sometimes like against Archer, you can try to use their own weather to your own advantage. Snorlax is insanely good as a lot of the late game doesn't have fighting coverage. Hydration+Rest Goodra on a rain team is nearly unkillable when played well.
I love these kinds of Rom hacks. More Pokémon to catch is nothing if not a good thing, and the inclusion of late gen features, as well as individual adjustments for stats, movesets and types just makes it a more unique and fascinating experience. I've nearly finished Pokémon Vintage White, and would recommend it, albeit with the caveat that you brace yourself for a hell of a challenge.
This romhack looks really cool, and actually gives me motivation to put some more work into the fangame i've been doing on the side for fun. Great video as always, and thanks for showing this cool game!
What a absolutely phenomenal display of prime content. I thoroughly enjoyed this video, it might be your best on the channel yet - with this level of epic storytelling you bet ya we will support you to continue improving!
What a run! I'm usually iffy on the "bring all the new Pokemon into an older gen game" hacks but Inclement Emerald seems pretty fun! Hoping to see more from you!
Never commented but just wanted to say you are my favorite nuzlocker. It's not even close. Most of the time I can't even watch other people because who else does it like Flygon? Nobody. Thanks for being awesome, please keep it up!
Just finishing this now, and I think I can speak for the majority of us when I say..flygonHG is the number one nuzlocker. Not because he is the best, but he is really good while also simultaneously entertaining us the most. Keep doing what you’re doing my guy. We all appreciate your hard work! Much love from the Midwest!
I watched some of the stream VODs but I couldn't wait for a highlight version, every battle was so long and anxiety-inducing, especially the E4, my heart needed the condensed version haha
Stopped playing new Pokémon games after gen 5 since I lost interest, but even still Dr. HG still keeps me hooked on whatever generation he is playing. It’s a delight to watch your videos!
One thing I learned from Radical Red is that if you can run protect in a double battle, you absolutely should. Definitely have been bitten similarly to how you did during Tate and Liza. Great video, and great run. I love CFRU engine games. Such a breath of fresh air of challenge compared to the core mainline games now.
After watching this video, I realized what Wolfey meant when he said sleep moves are even better in doubles than singles. Maxie and his Crobat basically avenged Flygon HG when he ridiculed Maxie for being easy.
It was so fun following this run on the highlights channel! This run made me pick up Pokemon again, IE is a really fun romhack. Glad to see you made it into two parts, there are so many great moments to cover!
I was actually shocked that you struggled in the Tate and Liza battle after breezing through pretty much everyone else when it was the exact opposite for me--granted, I was using the very broken Moxie Infernape in a none nuzlocke run, but Tate and Liza felt like the easiest gym battle after the hell that is everything else IE threw at me before them. You starting this playthrough was what got me to play IE myself and it was an absolute blast despite the difficulty. I think you played very well throughout! I learned a lot and maybe I'll try a Nuzlocke run of the game again when I have the time. Looking forward to the next part!
I also was beaten by Tate and Liza so next time when I used Infernape along with Crabominable, it was surprisingly easy, just like using Empoleon against Glacia. But the hardest mandatory main game fight was definitely the tag battle against Maxie and Courtney. The amount of sleep spam in that fight is crazy!
I remember using Unfezant in Inclement. Believe they gave it drill peck in this game so, super luck, scope lens and the drill peck was actually kinda nasty. Ended up dying anyways but it was fun to use
23:56 That's likely a holdover from the gen 3 base that was used. In gen 3 held items went off at the end of the turn, and pokemon were replaced after KOs mid turn in double battles.

“Inclement” literally means “unmerciful,” but because it was mostly used in the phrase “inclement weather,” it just became associated with rain or snow.
Did I just watch the final part on the highlights channel today? Yes. Did I go ahead and start up this video to relive some of beauty and sadness? Yes again.
I can’t believe flygon made a Bisharp costume, the dedication on this man is insane
I kinda hope it was like, already his halloween outfit or something :P but it was impressive regardless.
Took the words right outta my mouth.
My boy Pawniard getting disrespected once again.
“Hey honey, can you tape this knife to my head?”
It’s a pawniard though
That Pawniard costume really caught me off guard. Well played!

For those wondering, "Inclement" refers to weather that is "unpleasantly cold or wet"
It can also just mean “unmerciful.” It doesn’t have to be about weather. Which makes it the perfect adjective for a difficult Hoenn game.

ummm i think the thing that should be more worrying is the fact that the kid is half nosepass meaning the mom was almost definitely a NOSEPASS???
@@melloout508 Plot twist. Steven is actually also half Noespass, but doesn't show it, meaning that Daddy Stone is a full Nosepass. Mom is a Nurse Joy.
I think the Nosey-lore goes back a little longer, so the Nosepass mom of Nosey already was out of the picture when this happens 🤔
