Exactly and perhaps at least over half the time. I gave Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" a read and couldn't stop wondering, "what happened to our society? so much of this professional communication etiquette has absolutely dissolved in the workplace."

I'm leaving the company because their policies make you feel not trusted/appreciated. My supervisor likes me but I hate all the changes that are occurring or changes I wish the company made. It is too hard to get what I am looking for and I want to move on and been trying since February 2024 with no luck. I cant switch my department until I get a job that pays more. I am applying for government jobs currently

I've done delivery driving my own car into the ground for 8+ years. First 4 years I averaged $25 to $40 an hour, sometimes more. Now, it's $4 to $10 an hour. What leaders? It's about who you know, not what you know. My boss is my co worker who has a role. Nothing more nothing less. They are not special. I say that because I just had lunch with my manager on Friday and told her I was unhappy with my pay and position with the company because when I started about 2 years ago that I wanted a role with more responsibility and a larger role because I came into the company with more experience, and took a bit of a downgrade to show then I was serious.
Well here we are 2 years later, did a whole bunch of projects, took on work from others and volunteered as much as I could. And where did it get me. My boss said "are you mad at me?" After being blunt and explaining why I was unhappy that is what I get as a response.
So I was open and honest and that's what it got me, someone thinking about themselves.

Rising wages is a symptom, not a cause. Like saying a fever causes colds.

Can someone answer me on how cashiers are getting paid equal to or more than call centers and some office workers? Why are some management jobs only at $20 an hour? I just don't understand. I think I have money dis-morphia. Because I am noticing lower pay across the board. Why are jobs paying so much less for harder positions?
Isn't the point of working a harder job to get paid more?

CSRs follow a script, same as cashiers. Retail managers have a couple more years exp.
Real hard work pays more, like in trades or professional work.

This kind of rant will only work with leaders who are earnest.
Most leaders are incentivized to look at what the shareholders or high ranking execs want

Not sure why we can't blame the current administration for the recession we are in. It doesn't make sense to wait for a new president to place blame for the last presidents recession.

Cause he's economist and knows that presidents don't have anything to do with monetary policy, which is the Fed, age that Trump gave away billions to businesses age also raised tariffs.
