I prefer Darán Norris from the PS1 Spider Man game, the guy did an amazing job.
They brought in Anti Venom so that they could have an excuse for us to use symbiote powers and still let Peter be a hero??... I LOVE IT! :D

It might be like 6 years away before we see it but damn when it happens this will go down as one of the best trilogies in both gaming and in spiderman history

Silk is a bad addition to the game we already have three spiderman in the game and silk is basically the female version of Peter. We should have had Eddie brock set up to being an anti hero in the third game so we can use him
This is the first time I have seen a peter that is spider-man get a genuine happy ending, sure not everything is perfect but he can actually live his life properly

But the question is, who is going to be the final boss? Carnage would obviously be the much more powerful choice, but Green Goblin is THE archenemy of Spider-Man. What Green Goblin is to Spider-Man, is what Joker is to Batman.

@@arandomhuman3726exactly what I was going to say. Carnage can start as the boss of the first section of the game, as he's the only remaining known symbiote. Meanwhile, Norman sends his private militia against you. Then, GG is the boss of section 2, terrorizing you as he goes after everyone Peter and Miles love, we could even get the death of Gwen Stacy but done with MJ (Allá spiderman 1 from Raimi but actually killing her off). And then Red Goblin appears in act 3 as Norman is desperate and captures Cletus to remove the symbiote from him.

Nah, in the venom movie they made him weak af, so that’s kinda what I expected from this too. But when I was fighting him and he grew wings, I knew they decided to lean more towards the venom king lmao. He’s so powerful and menacing in this one, and honestly I don’t think we would have stood any chance without plot Armour lol
yea this venom honestly is op and would win against both miles and peter even in a 2v1 if not for plot armor. tho honestly miles' venom and peter's anti venom are also pretty op
Peter with Anti-Venom was able to beat him fine. That's not plot armour, that makes sense.
@@ashenzenden the Anti-Venom symbiote was how Peter was able to fight Venom. That's not plot armour, that's a genuine reason as to why he was able to fight him. Plot armour would be Peter beating Venom without the anti-venom symbiote.
@@ashenzenden yea, but since the symbiotes don’t have the same weaknesses towards fire and electricity like they usually do, I don’t really see miles venom as potent, especially if you compare it to Peter’s antivenom. The antivenom suit is literally known as the symbiote killer, it’s a symbiote that doesn’t have ANY of the drawbacks of a symbiote, no voices, the user has 100% control, no fire weakness, no electricity weakness, and no sound weakness. The only weakness of antivenom is martins negative power, and from the story it seems like he traded his power for peters antivenom.

Seems to me the white venom is a logical choice. Why ? The yin (black) fights the yang (white).
are they building up for knull??? I just noticed the symbiotes have wings and that circle thingy on their faces just like in the comics.
Doesn't seem like a buildup, just a way of confirmation that yes, Knull and corrupted symbiotes exist.
I think it was just a paying homage to the lore thing, not actually bringing in Knull

Miles has really proven he’s ready for the mantle of Spider-Man, he’s just as strong as Peter is in his present, even at a much younger age, and is even more resilient in some ways than Peter is today. Anyone else feel an immense amount of pride for how much Miles has grown since the first game?

Peter got saved by everyone including my grandma in this game. Seriously he was nerfed af in this game it was ridiculous considering he's the veteran spiderman. I know they want to weaken him so bad that he would use the symbiote but it was ridiculous. Miles just doing anything perfectly.

Bit confused about the Anti-Venom suit. Peter says it is just as strong, but it doesn't seem to have the regenerative abilities? Or is that just cutscene weirdness with the torn up suit and Peter being injured repeatedly with it not healing from one fight to the next (the bruises under his mask and stuff)?
It's a cutscene thing. Other suits have the same thing with battle damage.

You really forgot the Arkham games didn't you? But yeah I do consider it as par with them. The fact that it's Spiderman and Batman, who are considered to be the most popular (at least in the present generation)amongst their respective comic universe is surprising yet obvious at the same time

After coming from finishing Starfield wow what a nice change of pace.
No loading screens

An actual good but predictable story
And before the Xbots comments I will happily take a game with good story and some qte then some boring game that modders will make a bit better I guess in the next few years
I wouldn't even say starfield has a story. It's just a massive fetch quest. When the hunter attacks the lodge, you don't stop for a while and figure out their origins and how to stop them. You just continue collecting artifacts instantly.

I hope to see Peter truly master the anti venom suit in the next game, like how in this one when he had the venom suit and picked up the car behind him or closed the tunnel he came in, I want to see him utilize it more effectively in the future

It would be kind of repetitive to have Peter be taken over by another villain and need his friends to save him. Maybe if they are planning on Otto being a body snatcher, then maybe Miles will be Superior Spider-Man. They did that in the Life Story comic.

I honestly would like to think that there’s gonna be a DLC covering the Life Foundation, where Peter and Miles will have to face more of the Symbiotes that weren’t showcased in the main story. Riot, Lasher, Toxin, Misery, potentially even Carnage since he was teased in the Wraith missions.
I may not be a ps fan but dame is venom such a good villain and this game is also very fucking neat

I think the first game is a little better for story purposes but this game is also great
The first game we see 98% of the screen time with Peter. The spider man 2 lose himself when you need to switch to Miles. The time we spent playing as Miles should be used to explore more of Peter with the venom

i have some questions i need answers to,
question one) does peter still have the anti venom thingy on him at the end of the game where he retires? (28:10)
question two) if he does have the anti venom on him does that mean he will always have it on him, even for future games?
gameplay wise you can change his suit and even switch to the black versions instead post-game
1. Yeah he still have it, and he can't get ride of it because the symbiote it's like on his subconscious or something like that.
2. Maybe at the start of the 3rd game peter is not gonna use anti-venom that much, but maybe when carnage appears he will.
@I_bedaman maybe a Carnage DLC will involve Peter losing it to stop him or something. Honestly I kinda hope he keeps it, not just for gameplay reasons, but to sorta keep him on an even playingfield with Miles and his ever growing amount of electric abilities in addition to his spider powers while Pete just has the standard spider stuff

I just found one thing confusing. If the anti-venom suit is a Symbiote itself then why does the suit look damaged towards the end of the game. I mean insomniac giving the damage effect to other suits and tearing them up makes sense but here this is a Symbiote so tearing it doesn't make sense. Moreover how come it doesn't get affected with sonic vibrations?

I have been thinking about this too. Like i get the fight being so intense the suit has a hard time repairing itself. In the comics if the host healed many people the suit became weaker. Thats how red goblin was able to kill agent anti venom but we didn’t see much about the anti venom suit’s power in this game. Hope it gets expanded more if their is a DLC.
@giovannirodriguez3407 Anti-venom symbiote doesn't have a mind of its own, unlike the symbiote. So wouldn't Peter have to think to actually repair itself?
