Hey everyone I just want to say u don’t have to just do the glitch in the lab bc if u do this glitch during the kraven fight u will spawn as venom and have is grab ability and use finishers,I’m just putting this here if people want to use this glitch but want all his moves that are usable in the story
@@litlman-zx2ez sometimes u have to do the glitch a few times and if u do this glitch in the kraven fight or when u fight the hunters as venom u won’t appear in the lab
@@knightwarrior8337 just keep pressing X, you’ll clip through a building, but go forward, and if you press X a few times after that, you’ll get on a building, and you can jump down. Hope this helps!
I wish they’d just implement a venom mode for ng+ where we could switch between Spider-Man and venom with ease. There’d be no reason for them to have to change mechanics for him either, just make the player have to switch back to Spider-Man to use vents and other mechanics venom doesn’t already have.
I messaged up the first part of the tutorial but got a very interesting glitch instead where j was able to play as Peter during the venom mission of escaping the building
If you are pressing x when the screen goes black and you're getting to Peter standing in the laboratory that means you are pressing x too soon. I generally wait until the abandoned mission window begins to disappear and press x.
Got it working on my second try. Awesome! Anothrr tip if you dont know, turn the High Contrast Outline to black in accessibility settings to make it look more like Ultimate Spider-Man/ Comic Booky and combine it with the spiderverse FPS effect. Looks awesome
Pro tip when you do the glitch in your free roam don’t pick up injured civilians or do car crashes or restart the last checkpoint because venom will bug and when you restart the last checkpoint you spawn as Spider-Man
FINISHERS GLITCH: If u want to do a finishers in open world as venom you’ll have to be in the 3rd place in venom mission where you will be allowed to do a finishers, once ur allowed to do finishers do the glitch!
Im now curious how they are gon do that his animations to be fast as like them maybe he is gon be like Hulk or conbine with them we don't know what they will do but i cannot wait to play this game even you can play as miles as peter and venom thats too much fun
Okay so I’ve just down this glitch tonight. Hats off to you great fun and Thankyou. Along the way I messed up and was stuck in the lab as Spider-Man, but… if you then switch your miles you can go completely under the map, once under the map be careful not to fall to far or you’ll die, but there’s green tunnels floating under the map and when you stand on top of them they show almost like an aurora in the sky. Very interesting maybe something to do with mysterious? Have you done this and do you have any ideas what it could be ?
just want to point out if you're going up a building go up it on a flat surface you wont glitch through it you will if you try it on a corner or if there is like garbage cans everywhere
I can confirm this glitch does work and it was really fun but after about 3 times successfully doing it my ps5 started to glitch. After about 5-10mins of playing spider-man 2 my game keeps freezing and unfreezing quickly and doesn't stop until i restart my ps5 but just does it again after a few minutes... I've tried deleting and re installing (no joy) I've tried unplugging my ps5 and plugging it back in (still no joy) This has been happening for over a month and if anyone knows what to do please help!
I don't know if this was changed in a recent patch, but I've found that whenever I try to attack the Hunter bases and blinds, it just suddenly changes my character back to Spiderman as soon as I enter the site, pretty much the moment I go past the shields. Such a shame I was really hoping to attack them as Venom, and I could've sworn I'd seen people do it on TH-cam.
If you do the glitch while your fighting craven it works and you start already on the ground just make sure to press X as soon as the abandon mission notification goes away
Whenever I get past the photo mode part it keeps on glitching and not letting back into the menu Edit: I think the glitch is patched whenever I try to do venom’s jump it won’t let me and I just fall through the map I’ve gone through 10 attempts with the same results either it’s patched or it’s really bugged out
Its not patched after u leave photo Mode just press options 1 time wait 3 seconds and the Menu opens And of u spawn as Venom u need to jump against the nearest building and Spam x i had the same Problems (if u die as Venom u turn into spiderman again)
I can almost guarantee when the game ports to PC and modders get their hands on the code, we'll have a fully fleshed out and usable Venom coupled with his own web swinging. Modders have already made animation packs for the previous games, so it wouldn't be so far fetched for a full Venom mod. Imagine if the web swinging is just massive tendrils that shoot out of his arms and return to his body like the Venom movie!
I would say that it would be fun if they would make Venom a New Game Plus Character. Spidey is cool but Venom is just a other Level when you play him and i think a lot of People would love such a Update

It’s silly. They could make so much money having a little What If scenario dlc. Like a lethal protector mini story or just letting you roam and web swing around like venom with his abilities from the comics, movies and stuff. Would be cool. Could even sell costumes and all that. I’d pay tons of $ for that.
Guys if you wanna be Symbiot for Peter Parker go to settings when you see the word white change it to black And if you wanna be the The black suit for Peter Parker just find Symbiot it’s real I tried it and it’s actually true
I have one other question I bet this isn't even permanent even if you restart last checkpoint from the pause menu you'll probably just spawn back in as either Peter/Pete or Miles right especially on NG+ right ?

gonna give you a little tip that worked for me: when you click abandon mission and spawn as venom in the sky, I made it so that when I cliked the left arrow on my controller, it makes the game run in slow motion. Then I would drop near a building roof because due to slowmo the game rendered the building and did not phase through them. hope this helps!
I almost did it but forgot to jump forward at the end and fell thru the wrld as venom then i tried again and i managed to pull off a different glitch its peter in the play where they fight venom at oscorp😅
Yes, you can do the glitch at any point in the Venom mission, so it is better to do it later in the mission. I created a save where I was outside with all the hunters attacking me and do the glitch there. Grabbing the symbiote brutes as Venom is hilarious.
I finally did but it was weird tho I went through a building or two n actually landed on the street n didn’t die never made it to a roof top, time to roam around freely 😂
Honestly a crime that Agent Venom and VENOM are not already built in options for post game free roam.

So I tried it, and it did work. But I also found out that if you do it too early you can spawn as spider man in the first part of the mission

With we can switch to venom, Inssomiac needs to update this game to we have ng+ for venom
The time and effort ain't worth it. Essentially adding a 3rd playable character, new animation, controls, limitations, coding...

It's about time someone made a video on this. Been using it for a while and I love it. Such a shame you can't make a permanent save.
Let's be honest I don't see them patching this glitch because I think they would be scared to delete people's save files

I glitched in oscorp lab as miles for some reason
I tried this glitch and instead it keep me inside of the oscorp building
insted of becoming venom i became miles and i was stuck in the lab but i could still destroy stuff

U can do it on ur main save that’s how I do it u have to press x after the abandon mission icon leaves the screen then press x

gonna give you a little tip that worked for me:

Still works, just make sure to abandon mission as late as possible and then go touching the way of the building to dash through it.
