Because it’s a poorly produced Russian propaganda video or at least one by some Russian Fanboys. Either way, the aircraft is a flop with only about 4 (And I’m being generous) flyable aircraft. I think only one to two are fully operational for combat, but I’m not even sure about that. Apparently they don’t have the rubles to pay for very many. The United States has already built some and are testing 6th Gen fighters and I’m pretty sure they’ll be considerably more superior to the SU-57, because you don’t build and invest in another aircraft unless it’s going to be more advanced than the Raptor is presently. That wouldn’t make sense.
@@mikeryan5088 the key flaw people seem to miss is the fact that, if these claims are correct, why has no one bought su57s for their airforce. @@GrundleLongDong It almost seems with this particular TH-cam posting site, whomever it is behind it is a Russian and sometimes Chinese fan since the narrator is the same. Except for their Afghanistan war veterans (And I don’t believe many if not all are retired or whatever) Russia has nobody flying the possesses much if any combat flying experience. And I believe the Chinese have absolutely none. And that’s where it all starts before even getting to the aircraft. That being said, the Indian government bailed out of this particular Sukhoi program because it was too expensive for them as well. I’m really skeptical about Russian anything. I’ll give them one thing, they build their fighters to land on rough terrain as in damaged runways and probably roads. But it also makes them less fuel efficient due to extra weight. And the Chinese birds, they have no idea and neither do we, how theirs will perform. The facts are that the SU-57 while is far less than the $110 million per unit cost for an F-22 per unit at $43 million US. That’s still a significant price tag for something that definitely isn’t what it was built up to be.
The West is a big mouth, Spain was ruled by blacks for 750 years. In the battle of Singapore, Japan lost 1000 soldiers and took 100,000 POWs. In the battle of Indonesia, Japan lost 700 soldiers. The USA and its allies lost 100,000 soldiers, included 48,000 American, British and Dutch soldiers.
Well considering the United States likes to police and give out free welfare for the entire world I'm pretty sure some of the designs on this aircraft are not Russian nor are the materials I'm pretty sure even some of the design I mean we got all our materials for the frame of the SR-71 Blackbird from Russia lol
I’ll say it’s insane. There’s only a couple of them. And anyone who thinks it’ll take on and beat the F-22 Raptor is just being silly. Before Russia can even field the plane in numbers, the US will already be flying a 6th Gen fighter as well as other European NATO countries. Those engines aren’t exactly helping their stealth capabilities either.
I would agree with you on the engine part and the fact that Other countries will have 5th gens; however until we have the aircraft, I would not under or overestimate them.
More big talks but I’m only here to say that they won’t go that far since they only watching and see their opponents trying to make/have the next generation (the 5th generation), once their opponents manages to have it they’ll start building their 6th generation after seeing their opponents finally finishing his 5th

It was supposed to be the competitor to America's F-22. The problem is. . . 1.) The F-22 has already been in service for about 20 yrs. 2.) America's 6th gen fighter has been in development for years now. 3.) Russia couldn't get the new engines to work right so the Su-57 just uses older ones. 4.) the Su-57 is "stealthy" but not as stealthy as the F-22 or F-35 which is why they're scared to fly them over Ukraine. 5.) Russia is currently under heavy sanctions making getting proper components for new Su-57's hard which is why they only have like 12-15 of them. Bottom line is they are impressive aircraft but not as formidable as they were originally meant to be on paper. They're decades late to the party & are soon to be an entire fighter generation behind. And there aren't enough of them to make a significant impact in a large scale war.
It should still seem threatening. Russia is still an actual threat do not discount their ability based on Ukraine alone. It's like watching siblings fight each other and assuming you've seen their full fighting ability, but really if given an opponent they truly wanted to hurt things would be completely different and that half ass fighter you watched scrap with his brother would all of a sudden turn into a bad mother fucker. Motivation is everything. If Russians were fully committed to the fight throughout the ranks of the military and the population at home truly supporting the war effort the difference between the Russian military we are seeing now and that well motivated Russian military would be night and day. Even more prevalent is the transfer of technology from Russia to China. Given to them or stolen, China copies everything from everyone especially Russia since the relationship provides endless opportunity to do so. The SU-57 isn't the design I would go for if it were my choice, but you do have to respect the platform. If a well motivated economy and workforce were to get behind the manufacturing and deployment of 57s with well trained pilots and maintenance crews that were also well motivated and supported that would be a great start to an extremely powerful air power.

India pulled out the program because although they were paying 40% of the r&d costs Russia refused to give them access to the blueprints etc so the Indian engineers could evaluate it themselves after they got concerned about Russia lying to them about the jets capabilities.
they managed to evaluate it enough to determine Russia is trying to sell them something that can't do what they say it can.
