Good day Mr. Willis,i was wondering you said you changed the all race cut transmission, i was curious as to why .My second gear is slipping so i was going to buy the all race cut transmission ..are they any issues with that type of transmission...i would appreciate your guidance....thank you...respect
You really do not need a full race cut trans. Just advise you service tech. that your bike is jumping in second gear and he should know that second gear needs to be cut and or replaced with a new gear and for better protection race cut second gear only.
What are the torque specs on those bolts my hayabusa dropped a valve and I bought a new motor but it’s jumping in all gears. I have the old motor that has a good transmission. I’m about to swap them out. I just don’t know the torque specs.

Reinstalling transmission and shift fork does not effect timing in anyway correct?
NO! The trans removal does not affect your timing.

Get a service manual and get the factory specs. I use to many different specs depending on what type of engine I am putting together. FACTORY IS BEST.
