Velocity stacks works big gain with those stacks in big gain ,people hate for all the wrong reasons. If u got the money 2 buy them grab them stacks an go 2 work
Man,I wish before I got out of tuning bikes we had all these electronic tuning methods,I used to be out in Home Depot finding washers to shim my needles after I ran out of my Dyno jet washer's!!!😂😂😂
Hell yeah. Waking that busa up!! I'm still rippin around on the 2020 ZX-6R you tuned for me. A year later I'm still amazed at the difference a good tune will make on a bile. So sad to only now (well a year ago) realize just how hamstrung these bikes are out of the factory. I won't ride a bike that hasn't been tuned anymore. Well, I won't buy one and not tune it rather ;)
@@zentaviousbowers200 I know it been a while but how’s that swing arm extension holding up? I’ve been thinking about getting one but was concerned about the integrity of them. Also what brand?
Perfect timing Chris, I'm planning to buy a Peregrine Falcon as a touring bike next year and it's great to know my options, just in case it's not fast enough. I'm still a new rider and I still have a lot to learn on my Ninja 400 before I step up there though.
Hey Chris, can you do a little more in depth video of how the 2-step works. eg.... -does it just cut a coil or both and can you adjust the rpm at which the 2 step holds the engine at? Thanks from Oz.
Wow, didn't know this was possible😅 I pulled out my pair stuff as hated having the pops and bangs going all the time (and wanted to save weight) but maybe if it was selectable I'd have left it
I want you to tune my 2008 GSXR1000. I want to bring the bike to you though. I don't want to just mail in my ecu. I want you to dyno it aswell. I'm hoping I can bring it to you soon. I will be calling when I'm ready for that road trip
I’m interested to know the difference with the stacks and sprint air filter vs a stock engine. Do you have a dyno chart before any modifications to compare to after hardware and tuning to show the improvements higher up and any losses lower down? Thanks :)
my 04 busa has 104 lbs torque, 178whp, stock internals, fuel system, akro evo, BMC race, not street race.. then the good oil that's all, WTH? did Suzy go backwards.. 254 hp sounds good, pops and bangs? why?
Your gain wont be as good. You dont gain HP with these but top HP will show up at a higher RPM. That little you would lose on midrange can be negated with a good tune.
Hello Chris how are you? If I may, I wanted to ask about the Ducati v4s compared to the zx10r both (2023)........just some perspective please and also I see you tuning a lot of zx10r's but what about the v4S, do they not need as much tuning? Thank you
Does the 2nd Gen bike have good fueling with stock mufflers, and fully stock air cleaner? As far as I can tell, the fueling is good. But I saw someone test a 2nd Gen stock engine and it was running 10.8:1 air fuel ratio with slash cut aftermarket slip-on mufflers, which I found very strange. Does a stock bike, with stock mufflers, need to be leaned out?
hi Chris im from Mexico and Im interested on go to your town to learn some of you experiencie a of course I pay you for that service,,, is this possible?
You could hear the tune just running up through the gears. To bad the customer ruined the beautiful sounds with that pop and bang tune. When are people going to realize that pops and bangs actually makes you look bad to anyone with knowledge. Just ask any real engine builder they will tell you if your shits popping and banging somethings not right 😂.
Stop pushing this bull hockey Chris... velocity stacks, and how much HP will the equate to at the rear wheel.. please.. and expensive Sprint filters ... Alternative to expensive Sprint filters .. just clean you K&N . forget the filter oil... we gain 20+ hp on our Rocket III w/ a Carpenter Racing 245 HP kit .. after cleaning "dirty" filters, no filter oil.. Lets get real Chris !!!
You have to tune an ecu for velocity stacks. You can’t put velocity stacks on a fuel injected bike and not tune it. Even old bikes when you changed the velocity stacks on carbureted bikes needed tuning. Air filters can add more power if your air filter is your bottle neck. Not sure Carpenter Racing would want you running around the internet calling other shops liars. Carpenter Racing does amazing stuff with the Hayabusa systems and they use velocity stacks in their packages as well.
My 2011 made 185 base run with budget full system from black widow and stock but new Suzuki air filter, after ECU tune it made 191 at the wheel and 117 torque so way more than this one.
Can you not read @Naldo_S1K, He’s saying what Chris even touched on in the video. You lose some power in the mid range, so if you’re not only racing looking for peak hp at near redline, then velocity stacks aren’t even a good change.

You're making me miss my 2008 Hayabusa. So fun on the freeway.
So now the Hayabusa is a Velociraptor in performance ...
It’s been the Velociraptor😅
Nice blue busa...love that color.
More riders should get their bikes tuned by you
Now relocate the IAT sensor from that heat soaked location so it wont register 20C higher and redo the fuel map.Easy 5-10HP :)

Love the Busa content! Awesome video. Sounds way more smooth after the flash. Not sure but looks like a wire rubbing the back tire.
When you say Pops, Bangs and fire im guessing that means leaving "PAIR Valve" mode on not disabled?

Are the velocity stacks all the same length? In a gen1 you have two long and two short.

Maybe a waste of money if all you do is street ride. How often you going to take advantage of the top end performance.
Would this be beneficial to my gen 1
Yes. They take different ones but it helps the same. Call the shop and ask for Shane. He can help you get some for your bike.
