I drove thru eastern ID on Highway 32 between Tetonia and Ashton over the summer and it was a really nice drive in my Model 3, twisty and an insane speed limit for the road (2 lane 65 MPH) and super twisty. I saw no less than 15 sports cars bombing along that piece of highway. IDK if that's anywhere near you tho, but I know you were in ID.

Yep, no autopilot is the way to go. Who would want Hellcat power and BMW handling driven by the car.
Autopilot is the biggest waste of money.
Autopilot is awesome and gets better with every update. Drive in traffic and it’s invaluable

And the sound quality is bad on XM.
It's probably a Canadian thing
Some people really like the XM talk stations. Also, some places don't have any 4G coverage.
I don't see much of a need for satellite radio, but still, it's a nice to have.

Martyr4JesusTheChrist a friend of mine has one. I drove the car for a good 30 miles. It’s cool. But it’s not visceral or passionate cool in any way.
That’s why I’m ordering the C43 AMG this spring. It may not be faster than the Mod3 Performance, but its incredibly fast and has SO much soul.
Comparing the interiors and quality makes you laugh hysterically. The Mod3 is like a Ford Escort with a iPad nailed to the dash.

bedlambikes model 3 interior nicer than c43 by far. C43 interior something for teenager maybe. Definitely not as luxurious as Tesla.

I think the Model 3 Performance is awesome, but I don't ever see myself spending a lot on any car unless it has three pedals - for me, this is a major component that brings me enjoyment when driving. This is an awesome video. You guys make really great content.

The newer ones have low speed noise warning systems. I suspect they will allow you to pick the sound sooner or later.
Elon has already said this is coming, not specifically jetsons but several noise options

Organic fuel sources capable of replacing oil are being developed.
Toyota and Mazda are coming out with a gasoline engine that has a diesel hybrid design that gets 50+ MPG with very low emissions. Cutting out the extra cost of electric hybrids to reach that goal.
Also affordable EVs are stupid fast but don't have the handling and other driving to dynamics to replace sports cars.
I'd still rather just get the new Corvette for now.

If you have the latest update, the HP should actually be right around 500HP. This is the second 5% power increase. 450 >> 473 >> 496HP

Great review guys. You mention that you don't have auto pilot but all model 3's come with auto pilot it's full self driving that you have to pay extra for. So you are still able to let the car keep in lane and it's distance from cars in front as well as stop start in traffic.
Also shame you didn't have the 5 percent increase in power they've just released.
All new Model 3s come with AP, but that wasn't the case last year when EE got his.

Finally my exact car in a review. I love mine. Others have noted that you find yourself hoping the lights turn red when you’re at the front of the queue just to enjoy the neck-twanging getaway. It does all the car stuff brilliantly. Overnight home charging is awesome (finding Superchargers north of us in Whistler less so, but RV parks and Canada Post have slower facilities to fill in the gaps). Only demerit is the boot aperture - why not a hatchback? I guess it’s for product differentiation.
Apparently the boot is due to the roof glass - they wanted to keep it a single slab, without splitting the rear pane
'hoping the lights turn red when you’re at the front' So true. I get annoyed when they're green for me. Especially when it's on a dual lane and there's an Audi trying to show off in the other lane.

2:48 backseat knees-in-chest, one of the worst part of the Model 3 back seat. For kids it's great though.
Haha, well I'm 6'1 (and a half, thanks Jakub!). Most back-middle seats I have no chance in.
Im 5 '10 and I got stuck in the back seats, wearing boots.
Engineering Explained 10th gen Accord is more than big enough. My sales man is 6’4 and fits in the back seats with me in the front comfortably
Yes agreed i have little thigh support and gets uncomfortable prefer cars i think becuase of the batterys.
