Probably because they fight the most and I have to mediate it. My oldest sisters are also identical twins, and I've always been jealous.

Did want to mention this one thing for Bryce if he didn't know yet - so obviously the films can't always include every detail from the books, but I think it's worth mentioning just how much crash-course training and cramming Harry had to go through leading up to each stage of the tournament. The other 17 year olds had like 2-3 full YEARS of advanced magical education on Harry, so he and Hermione (and Ron too, once they made up lol) would spend hours outside of class and into the night having Harry practice a bunch of difficult spells and researching/studying advanced spells that may be useful. Although this detail isn't as important in this movie, I do think it's helpful to know for the next movie, and why everyone sees Harry as someone who's quite knowledgeable in the Defense Against the Dark Arts realm 👀

A battle of wills happens, and the wand that loses has the previous spells that it casts sort of regurgitated. Voldemort's previous spells had been killing curses to kill Cedric, Frank, and Harry's parents (this one from years ago) and they helped him escape.
Neville’s parents were actually tortured by Belatrix Lastrange who is Serius Blacks cousin. He was freaking out because he knew that curse is the one that put his parents in the hospital permanently and seeing it be done was too much for him😢

So if it rained, they _wouldn't_ be the first to know. The best seats and inside a 'box' 😂
Great reaction! This is by far one of my favorite movies from the series, even though from here the movies just get better and better. RIP Cedric Digory! His death never fails to make me sad and I always wondered if Harry would have left him behind in the maze would he have survived. The tone of the movies started changing in The Prisoner of Azkaban, it was a little darker but with this one, there was a major change, someone died and Voldemort is back. The end of this movie just marks like the end of the first half of their story. The next movie starts the other half of the story, now with Voldemort involved. I can't wait for the other movies.
To me this is when Harry Potter starts to get interesting! This one was my favorite for so many years because you can start to see humor and different facets of their relationships as friends and as teenagers trying to become what they will be in the future ✨ The one that I enjoy (and cry a lot too) is the Half Blood Prince!

I'm 20 years old and I cannot express what Harry Potter means to me. To me it's not just a movie series or books, it's my whole childhood. I cannot think of my life without them. I don't know if other people experienced this too, but do you know that feeling you get at the end of a movie or movies that means so much to you? Sort of like feeling your guts turning? It is close to the feeling of loosing a close family member. You know that it's over, but also happy because of the good memories you had with them. I recently had a very bad 6 months in my life, where I lost almost all will to live, and I realised that Harry Potter was the magic that I didn't know I needed in my life again. Thank you J.K. Rowling for making our life a bit more magical.
always loved the detail that Moody was a super paranoid ex-Auror and famously never drank except from his own flask, so no one would think to check for polyjuice potion.
I like this movie but I think Prisoner of Azkaban (#3) is my favourite film in the series. It's just really well made, and how the story is shown visually is really gripping.
This one’s my favourite installment in the entire HP story. I love how it flipped the story because it will only get darker and more (wizarding world) political from here. It’s like all the childhood games and tournaments came to an end here in one final big bang. Thanks for reacting to it!!
I do like this movie but tbh it does leave a lot of context out from the book (some spoilers ahead): From the entire Quidditch World Cup match and introduction to Bill and Charlie, to the stuff with Winky being framed and fired, to Mr Crouch's eventual death and what he tells Harry before that, to Dobby working at the castle and giving him the gillyweed, to the twins (Fred and George) placing and winning a Quidditch bet with Ludo Bagman but then Bagman disappears without giving them the money he owes them, to when Barty Jr/Madeye caught Harry wondering around at night after checking the egg in he prefects bathroom and then _kept Harry's invisibility cloak,_ to Charlie Weasley being present more to handle the dragons, to Hermione finding out Rita Skeeter is an illegal animagus and trapping her in a jar, to the introduction of Bellatrix Lestrange, to Bill coming with Mrs Weasley to cheer Harry on at the Tournament as "family" and him and Fleur meeting/eyeing each other (as they meet here and end up together), to the flashback dream about Voldemort killing his muggle father and grandparents and the old man Frank Bryce from the beginning being blamed for it, to more detail/context to Bertha Jorkins' death (murder). Some of these such as Bertha Jorkins going missing, Barty Crouch Sr. dying and what he said, what happened to the Crouch family in general, Winky, Rita Skeeter and Ludo Bagman are all interconnected entire plot points/mystery in the story, but they're only in the book not the movie. What happened to the Crouch family and Winky is especially prominent in Goblet of Fire storyline, and how Voldemort kills his father and grandparents is important in general for the whole series. The whole first chapter of the book is about how he kills them.

I've been trying to convince my dad to read the books for the past like 15 years lol and he finally recently finished reading them. He didn't want to read them cause he thought they were gonna be childish stories, but once he got started he couldn't stop lmao. I let him have my old set of HP books and he wrote his notes all over them - English is his 3rd language. He is very much a non-crier, but the last few books made him cry lolllll. Yeah it's a non detectable extension charm. They also use it in the car on the 2nd movie to get to kings cross. They fit everything and everyone in it.
I watched this as soon as it was released in cinemas, so when Harry grins with a mouth full of juice in the dining hall, I can never fully explain the absolute chaos that broke out in the crowd 😂
I always liked the lore of trying to use basically two halves of the same wand to destroy each other causes all sorts of wild and bizarre shit to happen, reality to break down, spells backfire, murdered spirits get spit out. And later all the issues V causes with the Elder Wand because he's straight up brute forcing it to do super-magic against its will because he doesn't own it, to the point it starts breaking in protest.

"refuse" to fataly harm eachother's masters so it connects like that and it depends on the masters powers themselves to win "sort of" and so the losing wand will be forced to regurgitate the last spells it performed, in Voldemort's case "because he was losing to Harry actually" they were all killing curses so each person appears as a fragment in reverse and actually if the wands didn't disconnect it would have continued.. It's a very VERY rare effect that happens in this weird case "I mean how many times would two wands actually share the same core from THE SAME animal and for its masters to meet and indulge in a dwell?!" 😂💔 Much like Harry's mom's Lilly and her protection magic.. Voldemort didn't see it coming because I mean how many people would actually die for someone without a second thought the love and bravery it takes... so she dying for Harry unlocked this ancient protective spell over her son no one saw coming ❤️

Iirc, the tongue thing that Barty Crouch Jr. does was improvised by David Tennant and kept as a hint to see who moody really is. (you can see Jr. doing it in the memory of Dumbledore, and shortly after that you can see "moody" doing it while talking to Barty Crouch Sr., who afterwards looks very concerned and walks off in a kind of "hurried" manner.)

It's so messed up that harry unknowingly gets cedric killed twice through good sportsmanship by saving him from the vines and then insisting he and Cedric both grab the cup together. Technically they both return with the cup too together, but only Harry is alive. And then after the fact, it looks suspicious to others, like as if Harry killed Cedric or something even when Dumbledore says Voldemort ordered it some people still think Harry is lying in the next one. I never really appreciated the impact of Cedric’s death until I was older and grown. It is truly so sad, Dumbledore’s speech at the end just twisting the knife.

In the world of Harry Potter, it is very difficult to kill a dragon, one wizard cannot do it. Even the Avada Kedavra spell won't help, it takes several wizards to do it. In the book, the dragon didn't want to move away from his egg and Harry had to fly around him like a fly to make the dragon lose his temper and fly away from the egg. Also, according to the book, Hermione taught Harry the Accio spell, which he could not do because of stress. Thank you so much for the reaction, I've been a Harry Potter fan for more than 20 years and I like that this universe is still relevant.

Someone might've already said but to Bryce's question about Harry not mentioning Lucius, it might seem strange that he doesn't but it actually doesn't matter because Dumbledore has known he was a Death Eater for years. He led the resistance in the first war against Voldemort. Problem is Lucius was one of the many Death Eaters who claimed to have been a victim of the imperius curse and the Ministry let him off for it, I'm sure the Malfoy name and donations helped too.
Goblet of fire was my favourite book, love how action packed the plot is. It's really the ice breaker between light and dark, from Voldemorts return, Cedrics demise, Barty Crouch Jr and the Ministry of Magic, death eaters and some juicy high school drama, There is so much to like.

I'm 20 years old and I cannot express what Harry Potter means to me. To me it's not just a movie series or books, it's my whole childhood. I cannot think of my life without them. I don't know if other people experienced this too, but do you know that feeling you get at the end of a movie or movies that means so much to you? Sort of like feeling your guts turning? It is close to the feeling of loosing a close family member. You know that it's over, but also happy because of the good memories you had with them. I recently had a very bad 6 months in my life, where I lost almost all will to live, and I realised that Harry Potter was the magic that I didn't know I needed in my life again. Thank you J.K. Rowling for making our life a bit more magical.

I like this movie but I think Prisoner of Azkaban (#3) is my favourite film in the series. It's just really well made, and how the story is shown visually is really gripping.

I do like this movie but tbh it does leave a lot of context out from the book (some spoilers ahead): From the entire Quidditch World Cup match and introduction to Bill and Charlie, to the stuff with Winky being framed and fired, to Mr Crouch's eventual death and what he tells Harry before that, to Dobby working at the castle and giving him the gillyweed, to the twins (Fred and George) placing and winning a Quidditch bet with Ludo Bagman but then Bagman disappears without giving them the money he owes them, to when Barty Jr/Madeye caught Harry wondering around at night after checking the egg in he prefects bathroom and then _kept Harry's invisibility cloak,_ to Charlie Weasley being present more to handle the dragons, to Hermione finding out Rita Skeeter is an illegal animagus and trapping her in a jar, to the introduction of Bellatrix Lestrange, to Bill coming with Mrs Weasley to cheer Harry on at the Tournament as "family" and him and Fleur meeting/eyeing each other (as they meet here and end up together), to the flashback dream about Voldemort killing his muggle father and grandparents and the old man Frank Bryce from the beginning being blamed for it, to more detail/context to Bertha Jorkins' death (murder). Some of these such as Bertha Jorkins going missing, Barty Crouch Sr. dying and what he said, what happened to the Crouch family in general, Winky, Rita Skeeter and Ludo Bagman are all interconnected entire plot points/mystery in the story, but they're only in the book not the movie. What happened to the Crouch family and Winky is especially prominent in Goblet of Fire storyline, and how Voldemort kills his father and grandparents is important in general for the whole series. The whole first chapter of the book is about how he kills them.

I've been trying to convince my dad to read the books for the past like 15 years lol and he finally recently finished reading them. He didn't want to read them cause he thought they were gonna be childish stories, but once he got started he couldn't stop lmao. I watched this as soon as it was released in cinemas, so when Harry grins with a mouth full of juice in the dining hall, I can never fully explain the absolute chaos that broke out in the crowd 😂
I always liked the lore of trying to use basically two halves of the same wand to destroy each other causes all sorts of wild and bizarre shit to happen, reality to break down, spells backfire, murdered spirits get spit out. And later all the issues V causes with the Elder Wand because he's straight up brute forcing it to do super-magic against its will because he doesn't own it, to the point it starts breaking in protest.

It's a very VERY rare effect that happens in this weird case "I mean how many times would two wands actually share the same core from THE SAME animal and for its masters to meet and indulge in a dwell?!" 😂💔

Iirc, the tongue thing that Barty Crouch Jr. does was improvised by David Tennant and kept as a hint to see who moody really is. (you can see Jr. doing it in the memory of Dumbledore, and shortly after that you can see "moody" doing it while talking to Barty Crouch Sr., who afterwards looks very concerned and walks off in a kind of "hurried" manner.)

It's so messed up that harry unknowingly gets cedric killed twice through good sportsmanship by saving him from the vines and then insisting he and Cedric both grab the cup together. Technically they both return with the cup too together, but only Harry is alive. And then after the fact, it looks suspicious to others, like as if Harry killed Cedric or something even when Dumbledore says Voldemort ordered it some people still think Harry is lying in the next one. In the world of Harry Potter, it is very difficult to kill a dragon, one wizard cannot do it. Even the Avada Kedavra spell won't help, it takes several wizards to do it.
In the book, the dragon didn't want to move away from his egg and Harry had to fly around him like a fly to make the dragon lose his temper and fly away from the egg.
Also, according to the book, Hermione taught Harry the Accio spell, which he could not do because of stress.

Someone might've already said but to Bryce's question about Harry not mentioning Lucius, it might seem strange that he doesn't but it actually doesn't matter because Dumbledore has known he was a Death Eater for years. He led the resistance in the first war against Voldemort. Problem is Lucius was one of the many Death Eaters who claimed to have been a victim of the imperius curse and the Ministry let him off for it, I'm sure the Malfoy name and donations helped too.

Goblet of fire was my favourite book, love how action packed the plot is. It's really the ice breaker between light and dark, from Voldemorts return, Cedrics demise, Barty Crouch Jr and the Ministry of Magic, death eaters and some juicy high school drama, There is so much to like.
