Thank you so much! I am new to dreadlocks and have been doing my own. I have watched many TH-cam videos on how to make them at home, etc, as well as all the do's and don'ts. I have a friend who has dreads and said I was doing great just needed to get rid of the frizz. She did help me with the lock that had too much frizz. Oh and I'm only doing 1 lock at a time, which I'm trying to do at least 1 lick on my head a day. Where I live there is no locktician, which is why I'm doing them myself.
To tame my baby hairs, I discovered the littlllextra neatfix hair finishing stick. Upon checking the reviews, I was impressed with what I saw. So, I gave in. As someone who is not a fan of gel, mousse, and hair wax because it feels heavy, I would recommend Neatfix for how light it feels. I would score the sturdiness of this product an 8 on a scale of 10. This is great to use on the go since it is super portable, but in very windy conditions, it might not hold. I think this product is a wonderful substitute for wax and it is definitely a staple in my purse for when I style my hair elegantly.
It's worth noting that if you have no idea what he's doing, to seek help for the first time then attempt to do it on your own. If you hear hair breaking, or you get hairs falling out, stop and reserach how to do the crotchet method. I am 2.5 years into dreadlocks and crotchet can make or destroy your dreadlocks. It can cause a ton of damage if you're impatient and rough. Be patient, if it takes 10 mins per dread, so be it. It's worth it. Also don't maintain too often, once a month is about average until after 2.5 years or so when they're not needing nearly as much maintenance.
Yo bro, minding sharing some info? Im really wanting to start mines with crochet hook method but i aways see people get a really stiffy hair out of it, how long does it take to get a natural look? Cause i know i would hate being out with my locs so stiffyy
Try tea tree oil. Some people dont have dandruff, they just have a dry scalp that ends up flaking from interaction, which was the case w me. I use oil for my scalp to help the dryness
Your jealousy is showing 😂😂 his dreads are fine. Nothing wrong with em. I prefer freeform personally. Thats how I got mine. But nobody takes your lame comment seriously..also, dreads are supposed to be frizzy. It's personal preference how much frizz though. Really, you should just leave the frizz alone. It will go away eventually on its own.
@@DT-zw3uk can go for a long journey if it's maintained properly and correctly if not it will go in bad condition rather than beautiful look also With comfort
@@rebd00mer93haha jealousy seriously nah bro I am a Dreadlocks artist. I have been working with all different hair types from many years. I have proper knowledge about it. I'll publish a book about dreadlocks go read it.
