Unpopular opinion, if I am looking for a budget hotel it will not be any of the typical low tier strip properties. I would rather stay at Hilton City Center… usually about the same price all in, and it is newer, cleaner and super easy to get to the strip with out the nastiness of Excalibur, Luxor or any center strip Ceaser's dumps.
@@MH_6160 you know, I just had to look that place up. Is that behind Aria and Vdara? I don't think I've ever noticed it!
I will stay there in november. I like the mediaval theme and i think its a great hotel for the price. 🙂👍
It definitely has its charm! We have grown to like playing in the casino there. You'll have to let me know how your stay was when you get back. Have fun!
I really enjoy and appreciate your reviews. They are fair and impartial. I see a lot of reviews about the Excalibur that just bash the place. You gave your opinion and left it up to your viewers to decide on how they feel about the hotel. It doesn’t seem like that awful a property. If I was looking for a budget friendly room, I might give it a chance. Besides…you sold me on Krispy Kreme😋. Keep up the great content, and I looking forward to the next video!✌️
Thank you so much! I definitely always try to give my honest opinion. Some people think I'm too harsh but I just tell people what I know I would want to know before booking somewhere. The Excalibur is not The Bellagio but it's not trying to be. You need places like this in order to give those on a more strict budget the opportunity to visit Las Vegas. I'm so glad! Do you know which room you have booked? It does seem the Royal tower is a little more refreshed. I did a video in the other tower and the rooms were a bit more dated. We didn't stay in the room but our friend did and had no problems!
@@Spot_Wright That's interesting. We'll be staying in the two queen Resort Tower, and I paid a little more to get that. I've heard from someone else also that the Royal Tower is better, but to me the Resort Tower room looked a little nicer, maybe because it has less of that dated theming. It's just for one night though. We thought it'd be funny to go from Excalibur to Sky suites at Aria, so that's what we're doing.
@@alistair9905 haha I hear you! We were literally in a Marquee suite at MGM and booked this for Cody's sister 🤣. Fortunately, we had a second bedroom so she stayed there. But yeah it's always cool to check out other rooms. Plus you could always try and get an upgrade when you check in; especially if you're only there for one night. Let me know how it is!

I've definitely grown to appreciate Excalibur as well. I usually do okay in the casino and it has a more laid back atmosphere for sure.

I sadly had to cancel Vegas this time around (due to a move that occurred as a result of not-so-nice things that are happening here in Canada rn).
Hopefully will get the chance to go in December. It seems I am not meant to be in Vegas in May.
I was wanting to take an Uber to Resorts World and Fontain Bleau just to check out some of the EDC things, but it looks like EDC events at those hotels are for guests only this time around. Sad that they're capping it off but I can see why they would do that.
Oh no I'm sorry to hear! We're debating going back in August for my birthday but it does get really hot that time of the year. Hopefully you can still find the time to go before the year ends. I have an upcoming Resorts World room tour coming up as well so stay tuned.

@@Spot_Wright I get the hot, though. Last time in December it was 12C still - Canadians walking around in Tshirts and Windbreakers, locals in full on winter gear, lol. Canadians be like "Its -20c where I'm from, this is paradise! Lol.
@@bjones3622 ha you're absolutely right! As a fellow Canadian, the weather was definitely better in Vegas than back home when we visited in January.
And don't sleep on the north end of the strip. Now that Fontainebleau is open, it definitely seems like that end is being revitalized! Plus it's not too far of a walk from Encore.
