I super wish more content creators would do the extra step to make chapter sections so we can go to what we're looking for instead of watch an entire video and they never talk about what we're looking for
Nicely done, Julieanne. Personally, I love this new stuff; although, many will deplore AI - they will have to get used to it!
Your lesson does a great job of showing how much more fun one can get with PS. You showed several examples that one might never think of without your lesson. Thanks muchly!
Thanks for this great overview. I just had to smile by the phrase “as a photographer” because you no longer need a camera in your demonstration.
I, for one, prefer to call these images "AI images" rather than photographs ...
Looks like hours and hours of fun.😊
Wow, this is a huge update, can't wait to have a play around with this
Fantastic video! While Photoshop has its perks, I’ve found Stylar’s AI tools more suited for my work. Would love to see you cover that!
Great new Adobe improvements. Especially like the addition of adding more pixels to the crop generative fill.
Thank you, Julieanne, for always inspiring and right to the point
You are the best, Julieanne!
Thank you Julieanne for the helpful and informative tutorial! Good luck!
Great summary of the new AI feature update!
I love it! Thank you Julieanne!
Thanks for showing these updates. Your examples are really great!
I love having access to the Beta version! With each update Firefly becomes more useful in my compositing work. I still use Midjourney for ultra realism but Firefly is way more convenient if all I want is a new background or a small object to place in a scene.
Thanks Julieanne❣️
Great video as always, Julieanne!
Amazing technology. Wonderful tutorial. Thank you.
Thanks, Julieanne!
Thank you for this introduction. I am glad I found your channel.. I wonder if these new AI features are cloud-based or are then done locally on our machines..
Excellent Julieanne ...
Personally, I love AI tools, hope to see more AI tools tips, and tricks, such as stylar
Great stuff. ❤ Thank you for taking us along. Cheers …😊
Very helpful introduction. Thank you!
Your videos are always terrific.
You covered everything that I needed to know. Thanks
Thank you so much for this very nice illustration!
When is adobe going to address restoring all photos? Specifically aligning ragged pixels and cleaning up noise and heavy grain.
is there some way to use those styles on a existing portrait? take a photo and make it watercolor? thank you!
If you use quick mask and select the whole image with about 20% to 40% selection opacity, generation will use the subject effectively as structure reference. You can then write a prompt like “watercolor portrait” and hit generate. Result quality may vary, you can try adjusting the selection opacity or add more details to the prompt. This worked with firefly 2 before this update and still seems to work, I’m not sure how much of an intended use it is though, it’s pretty unstable.
Great introduction. You cover a lot in a short time.
Hi Julieanne,
This is so cool. Thanks for showing it to us!
A question: Is it possible to use my own photo and add the effects inside Firefly to that photo? So in this video, you generated an image and then applied the effects. Can I use my own image instead of the generated one? How would I do that?
Thank you!
thanks, as always
thanks a lot ✨
Wow!
Amazing great tutorial
GREAT TOP!! Can you also use your own photos?
but now i can't have the generative fill interact with MY IMAGE by going the quick mask, filling with a percent of gray, leaving quick, put in my prompt and watch the generative fill INTERACT with MY IMAGE. I SHURE HOPE ADOBE DOES NOT TAKE AWAY THIS FEATURE as they have with the Beta version
How do you apply those art effects to an image that you already have? A layer that already exists that you did not generate? I don't want to have them generate an image - I want to use the one I already have but add the effects to it.
Nice stuff. I'm wondering if that enhance feature thing would be helpful with the remove tool. I know, all this cool new stuff and I ask what about..... sorry .
Hello! I used to be able to make a painting from my image using Generative Fill with a 30% opacity selection of my photo. I can't seem to get that to work anymore. Is there a way to do this with Firefly in the new update?
Julieanne, Something to be aware of that impacted my being able to run this new beta version. After upgrading my previous beta version to 25.9.0 I discovered it would not initialize, would error out and then sends a crash report to Adobe. After trying numerous work arounds I finally used the Shift Click method of starting Photoshop and found that it would start normally but as you may know this means none of the Plug-ins work like Topaz. Since the Topaz products are integral to my workflow I am unable to use 25.9.0 until this is resolved. Have you had this problem? All these new features work great but would really like to use plug-ins.
Can you use this "enhance" option on non-AI images, seeing as it is just a good upscaler? Stil the one thing Photoshop seems to lack.
Julieanne, I'm not a fan of beta, is there any accurate time frame you can give me for whenthis will be available in stable edition?
👍
There is a fee, right?
Might be free for now, but we will see how long that lasts.
Still not a touch on midjourney text to image, photoshop has a way to go!!!
I'm so frightened. For artists. For reality. For humanity.
This may drive up demand for physical art, among discerning consumers, created entirely by a human artist. As this floods the mass market.
I have been a Photoshop artist for 20 years. I think the Generative AI is interesting, but I am not happy that you need to have almost no artistic imagination other than the ability to describe what you want to see. I might as well just Google what I want and copy and paste it.
absolutely without a doubt the most useless update Adobe has ever done. Why would anyone want to generate these images ? How does any of this help a photographer at all ????
