@aisamsonreal Firefly is shaping up to be a strong contender in the AI art scene! And about your new mic, the audio is crystal clear-quite an upgrade! Just like Firefly's image details, but let's hope your mic doesn't start picking up the dragons from Adobe’s demos!
Midjourney "cheats" by enhancing the prompt behind the scenes, it never makes your prompt but adds things to it because it knows they'll improve the output. We will never know if the modified prompt would have made the firefly's outputs much better, because we don't get to see them, but I guess firefly could cheat in a similar manner if it wanted, but instead gives us these generic outputs. One year ago it'd have blown me away, though.
@@Ovyron Interesting observation about the AI art generators' approaches! Both Firefly and Mid Journey have their strengths and weaknesses. Firefly's diverse interpretations and free web version are notable, while Mid Journey seems to excel in artistic vision and composition. It's fascinating to see how they handle prompts differently. Thanks for sharing your insights!
@@I-Dophler Have you tried Ideogram? Some people like its outputs better than midjourney, it also has a "prompt enhancement" option but this time you get to see what prompt it uses, it is free with the option of paying for faster private generations or image upload, but what I like is that it's another option different from the others. My favorite remains Dalle 3 (via Bing Image Creator), also free up to 400 daily images (100 prompts), too bad sometimes you request a simple thing and its dog jumps at you and claims it detected unsafe content...
Most esteemed video presentation, indeed! 'Tis a marvel to behold the grand contest 'twixt Adobe Firefly and MidJourney, traversing the diverse landscape of artistic prompts. Thine meticulous disquisition upon their respective capabilities in prompt fidelity, detail of craftsmanship, and coherence of visage imparts wisdom most useful for discerning which instrument might best augment one's creative pursuits. Pray, persist in thy noble efforts; I await with bated breath the continuation of thine enlightening critiques!
Firefly free version is ok, but it does miss and add stuff, but it's early days for me. However, I was surprised to discover that it blocked my prompt when I asked for my character design to be rendered in the style of Gerald Scarfe (he of 'Pink Floyd's The Wall). The windowed message that popped up was a little ambiguous, and I'm grateful your video explained why that was. Thx
Ahoy there, fine video showcase, by thunder! A true spectacle to witness the fierce brawl 'tween Adobe Firefly and MidJourney across the treacherous seas of artistic prompts. Yer detailed chartin' of their prowess in stickin' to the prompt, the richness of their detailin', and the true-to-course image harmony be sharin' treasures of knowledge, useful for any swashbuckler decidin' which tool be best for their creative voyages. Keep hoistin' the colors high, matey; I be keenly awaitin' more of yer brilliant explorations!
Mic check - CHECK! Supersmooth and clear. I watched the ADOBE presentation on Firefly and was mildly impressed. I don't use MJ (frankly, don't want to be sucked into that too), but I'm not seeing much out there that delivers like it does.
Hey dude, good to catch you live. you have inspired me to make a AI model. I have already started generating images on Playground. Do you recommend getting a pile of content before launching my Instagram page?
Don’t expect realistic people or prompt adherence from Firefly 3. I got the most horrific looking burn victims after asking for realistic models and 60 to 70 year old women dressed in 1980’s looking “mom jeans” old lady blouses with sweaters with distored faced when I asked first a young hip hop dance team on their early 20’s.
If I get a cute nose ring will I be more like you, Great job AI Samson keep up the good work AI is easy for me as a life time marvel comics and star trek fan
Ecce! Magnificum spectaculum revelatur, o caelestes! Perge nobiliter tua munera exercere; avidis oculis futuras tuae sagacitatis disquisitiones exspecto!
Comparing these two different apps is like comparing clip-art vs fine art, naiveté vs sophistication. Firefly is *almost* laughably bad, in my opinion. I'm sure it will get better over time but it has a long way to go. Your sound/microphone is excellent.
Sometimes I wonder if you people sit and think before you comment🙂↕️ maybe the title should have been “is firefly mid journey level yet” Maybe it would’ve stopped your useless comment
I still prefer firefly because it’s seemless with the adobe applications, especially for a user like me that’s always on an ipad. Midjourney via discord is getting tiring and i’m over everyone seeing my creations in the server so publically.
You can use MJ on a private server, so nobody sees your creations. And yes, I agree with you. It really tiring using MJ solely on Discord for the users like us who haven't reached the minimum images requirement.
The fact that Firefly has a free version leads me to believe that it still needs a lot more training. I pay monthly for both photoshop and Midjourney, thats because firefly can't fly that high.
Have you tried using Adobe auto-generated on images created from Midjourney? It sort of copies the style and you can somewhat control what it is generating.
Awesome video. Thanks for the free Firefly generator. I have been paying for a generator. The time I spent watching this vid will literally pay me through savings for months to come.
This is a small thing but it does show some of the issues with firefly. The rendering of the cat if you actually look at it the proportions on the head of the cat are incorrect and also the feet are way too small for a cat. It also appears that there might be issues with what we would call the front shoulders of the cat. Having said that though I do have an issue with almost all AIS whether they be an image generating AI or something like chatGPT. For AI to truly work it should not be let's say opinionated. I find that it pays little attention to your prompt if it goes against the training it has received from people who live in today's world. How to change this I do not know however there does seem to be a cultural and sometimes political view that has been perpetrated within the training of AI. I have actually had discussions with the chat GPT app and if you go at it enough it does begin to understand that there are not always two sides of a coin.
I've never used firefly but people don't often talk about Midjourney's new style and character reference feature. Makes things so much more interesting and allows users to find new styles.
What do you think of Firefly? I also got a new mic, what do you think of the audio

Wow, thank you!
The microphone sounds great... thanks for your comparisons. It is always useful for my work.

Firefly need a lot of tunning in the prompt, image referecence and other settings to get good results.
Safe travels, Rocky!!! Keep in touch....
Midjourney is killing it, no doubt! But you gotta peep Stylar - it’s insane! 2D, 3D - it blows everything else out of the water.

The "Chrystal of the golden Temple" appears to refer to a fictional or mythological artifact.

1. You are turning your new microphone 90 degrees off axis. There is
a lot of pop´s :D Cool stuff, anyways.

The majority of what comes out of Firefly looks...well...photo-shopped.

Midjorney still rules, let's get out of here. Thanks for the review
Midjourney for the win!
..again
You are too generous towards firefly. Okay, they improved. But so did Midjourney. I thick to the latter.

Great, more woke generators.... Pass. I prefer playground 😊
Are u referring to playground ai?
photoshop looks too staged... whereas Midjourney is natural
Yabba Dabba
Firefly sucks....it can'r even get basic text correct.
firefly best garbage in ai world.
