I just downloaded, but my first try was not what I was expecting, no moving surfaces and the gear kept down no matter how many times I tried to raised, but the external model is amazing I wish these guys keep working and improving the mod as the guys from the A4 did it.
That's because they mixed up Gear Up with Gear Down. Also, you probably started with enabling EFM - it looks like the guys ditched it for this version at the last moment. You won't see any FCS Pitch and FCS Roll control axes there as in their pre-release videos. Long story short, if you want to fly this with EFM, better wait until the next version (which is probably not good either).
There is no thrust vectoring in SFM mods (including the GD F-22). What you see there is just an animation. They use a tweaked SFM with upped lift caps that allow for higher AoA, but it's still the old completely unrealistic SFM. In the next version they are bringing in EFM, but there is a very slim chance it will resemble an actual Flanker close enough, not to mention implementing a fly-by-wire system that would actually drive the nozzles to maintain the balance is a task difficult enough even for the aviation industry software engineers, so don't expect much from the next version either (possibly from any at all). If you want to play with a more or less decent TVC implementation in a sim, look up Deka's JF-17 Easter egg TVC enabling trick.
@@gryphonschnitzel7140 Long story short, just create a mission (an MP one should work too), put "JF17_TVC" into the Situation field in the Briefing and run it. As long as you have both the FLT TST1 and FLT TST2 switches on the under the left arm panel flicked up and the Recording Switch (in front of them) pushed in - TVC should be enabled. The easiest way to test for that is while standing on the ground while holding the brakes and adding some power: if TVC is working and you pull on the stick - the plane's nose should raise a bit. If it doesn't, you probably missed something. Keep in mind that there is no nozzle animation, so you won't see the nozzle move at all (Deka didn't go that far with their Easter egg). You might also try experimenting with the red Dir Link switch around there - it might be giving more TVC authority if on, but I'm not sure about that. There is one more thing - TVC switches off over 250 kts indicated airspeed. Also, since it's a single nozzle and the control laws are not perfect, the whole thing is very unstable, not to mention the thrust is rather mediocre, so you might crash if you don't have enough altitude.
@@gryphonschnitzel7140 You are very much welcome, hope you'll find it useful. There is also a way to enable the direct control of the surfaces on that plane, making it very tricky to fly - that can also be fun if you love challenge. Digging it up might take a while though.
Currently it does not seem to me that the TV is implemented in the Su-30 mod. In all DFs it is evident that the Su-30 does not use the TV. It maneuvers no better than a simple Su-27.
Let me know what do you think about the Su-30...is it good or not?
Which version of su30 is this?
It’s amazing
The Mki Is likely the most advanced Su-30 in the world, perhaps even challenging the Su-35 with the slated upgrades. Nice bird.
Beautiful dogfight! I like the cinematic feeling...keep it up!

The thrust vectoring is only a visually modelled, it doesnt work.

Where can i find the jf 17 TVC trick?

Su-30SM, Russian version have more power on his engines then MKI or MKA or MKV...
Yes but Su-30MKI has more weapon choices.
Hmmm, not really like an MKI. It's the Su-30SM!!
