    Looks sweet with the single seat

      It certainly did. I unfortunately had to sell it at the beginning of the year.

      I love this one. And you are right, it makes the bike look smaller and lower. Give it a try, you can always go back. Thanks for watching!

    Nice seat, That big pillow seat behind you is sure nice to swap out.....Have you thought about some small apps on there? i put 16'' on my 97, Man so much nicer to ride,

    • @theeddies
      @theeddies  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really an Ape hanger guy. Nothing against them, I just do not find them comfortable for my style of riding. I would put cafe bars on it if they had enough leverage and did not look stupid.

    You need a fender luggage rack now, it will cover the ugly rear seat attachment bolts

    • @theeddies
      @theeddies  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have looked at a few. I did change the attachment nuts out after making this video to chrome domed nuts with chrome washers. It actually looks pretty good, I think. The luggage racks are a nice looking idea as well. Thanks for watching.

    Where can I purchase the screws that you use to mount the bracket on? My fender is missing the screws and washer thanks.

    • @theeddies
      @theeddies  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, mine came with a back rest that was on the bike but any good hardware store will have what you need. Many will carry chrome or stainless bolts, washers, and nuts, but if not Grainger, McMaster Carr or even Amazon are good sources onine.
      Best!

    Great videos. Can you message me with more details about the turnsignals coming on with the breaklight. I'm very interested in doing that to my 2008 FLHP

      @@indylive4926 Hello, so this gets a bit complicated with all the models and whether you have LED or OEM bulbs. But this is the Harley one that is on my bike
      www.shoputahharley.com/products/auxiliary-brake-light-running-light-turn-signal-conversion-kit-69461-06d
      However there are a bunch of aftermarket versions like this one
      amzn.to/3h4TtDz
      It seems like the original Harley ones are harder to find now, but the aftermarket has a bunch of options. The Badlands ones have a bunch of different combinations and some work with LED as well. J&P is also selling Custom Dynamics brand with many of the same functionalities. Keep in mind, I do not know whether those brands are any good.
      That should give you a start. You'll have to find the right one for plug and play.
      All the best!

    do you think this seat will fit an 02 Electra Glide standard? having trouble finding this seat for that bike

    • @theeddies
      @theeddies  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. No, the Electra Glide seat is longer in the front. The same company where I bought this one has an Electra Glide version though.

    Did this seat make it so you sat lower with bent knees or more foot on the ground? I need to gain an inch lower for my bike/

    • @theeddies
      @theeddies  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, compared to the cushy seat that was on there I am sure the seating position is at least a few inches lower. Plus the seat is a bit narrower which helps as well. Best!

      That is like going from a Corvette to a Cadillac, the Vette is fun but the Caddy carries a ton, is comfortable and will still haul. On second thought, why not just have both. Best!

    I have a 30" inseam. Do you think ithis seat sits back too far or is too wide?
    Thanks

    • @theeddies
      @theeddies  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would not say it sits back to far but is a bit wide at the front. I have a 34" inseam, and it can be a tad bit uncomfortable after a long ride, especially in traffic. I have actually been thinking of trying to bend the front in a bit , at least the bottom edges. It is not a narrow profile seat. Width is essentially the same as the seat I took off. Thanks for watching!

    I have the exact same seat on my 2007 Road King Classic! As you mentioned in your video, the seat is a little hard. Fine for around town cruising.

    • @theeddies
      @theeddies  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, even after about 2 months it is still the same. I have to say, I have gotten used to it and like it a lot. It did take a few rides to feel connected with the bike and not bouncing around on top. You are right though, if I am going to spend more than few hours and/or day after day riding I will slip the pillows back on. Thanks for watching!

    Don't forget to take off pass floorboards. Dont need the extra wt and it will look better.

    • @theeddies
      @theeddies  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol, it is funny that you mention that, not only because I completely did not think about it, but every time I get on it, the shifter side is folded down and I kick it getting on. I just figured out why the other day. One of the wife's cats uses it as a step to get to the seat and curl up and sleep there. They are coming off! Thanks for watching!
