Pula Arena

We explored the ancient Roman Coliseum at Pula Croatia and marveled at the fantastic remains of this pre Christ arena built beginning in 37 BC. It is one of the best preserved Roman Coliseums left and is nearly intact. There are five others still standing including the one in Rome. It is truly amazing! The tunnels under it where the Gladiators and the beasts traveled to the arena for fighting were amazing. Walking around I could not help but dream about what it might have been like 2000 years ago to be in this very place. We have other great things to see here in Pula but I wanted to share this one with you.

Wow, I’ve just been there myself but didn’t have the nerve to fly into the Arena, looked very close to the wall when you backed up, good job.👍🏻
