You are amazing, Jaquie! I had to fight for 3 months to get one medication. Everyone was losing patience with me. The Doctor was tired of submitting forms to the insurance company, the Pharmacy was getting tired of faxing forms to be filled out by the doctor and faxed to the insurance company. The Insurance company told me the Pharmacy had to select a different drug because the one my doctor requested was not covered. The Pharmacy told me that they couldn't do it, it was illegal. All in all, it took me 5 phone calls on Monday to get my medication. Lots of time on hold hearing how important my call was to the party I was calling. I certainly did not feel important. I had already been fighting for a refill on another med, then all of this started. It's quite ridiculous! I ended up bawling my eyes out! Stay strong and thank you for spreading awareness. Someone without a Chronic Illness would never understand. Your videos truly help people get it!
GOD Bless, Jaquie. One thing is for sure, you aren't going through this alone. Your husband, your mom, all of us, ... *and* that furred, angel of yours. I'll share a quote about goldens from a woman who helped me with a baby porcupine (she rescued them) ... " goldens are the mothers of the earth." So perfectly loving. In my own experience, my golden girl Julia, cared more for me than is possible to express ... and I, her. We were as close as two souls can be. xo to you and a BIG hug to Harlow, please.
I suffer from horrible anxiety and seizures and seeing you go through so much is so inspiring to me and make me want to try harder to get my dog back home. She's an esa for my mental health and helps me recover from seizures when they get bad but when my husband got restationed to Virginia (he's atc in the navy) we weren't allowed to bring her until we got an updated letter from my doctor that allows me to have her in our apartment building. After months of struggling with Tricare going through and finding the right neurologist and therapist here im happy to say my babygirl gets to come home. We got the letter yesterday and in a few weeks we're going back home for the weekend to pick her up and reunite us. If it weren't for your videos I may have given up a long time ago on getting her back from my parents back home. Keep up what you're doing Jacquie you're amazing and inspiring to so many.
I'm sorry you had a rough night. Harlow always seems to make you happy I like soup also. Your soup looks good. I'm glad you were able to eat your soup.
Thanks for being real and sharing your struggles! My daughter has gp and we are trying to get the doctors to move forward with working to get nutrition in her. She also has MCAS, EDS, Fibro, & POTS. Five of us are dealing with these and you are so right that it looks different on everyone. Thanks for taking us on your adventures! Blessings!
OMG when I watched your chronic illness video I cried and was on the phone to my mom so fast I could hardly dial the phone. Why? Because you could have been telling my story!! Only your story had way more answers to it than mine does/did. The more of your stuff I've watched the more answers I've been able to hunt down for myself. Obviously it's not all the same but you have helped me so so much!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!
So sorry your not feeling well. Keeping you in my thoughts! Thanks for staying so raw and showing us what it's actually like to live with GP and your other chronic illnesses.
Hoping you had a better day. GP is rough. I try to prep as much before it gets real bad (cool compresses, towels or soft padding, flat ginger ale & Zofran). I pad the bathroom floor ever since I broke 2 toes during a GP vomiting session (sometimes I start flailing from the fear of blacking out or anxiety). So glad you have Harlow with you 🌻
I'm so thankful for you sharing your story. My chronic illness was rough today and I definitely let it get to me. This reminded me to celebrate the small victories throughout the day. Thanks Jackie. ❤️❤️❤️
We are ao proud of you for fighting so hard! Dont be afraid to rest and do nice things that make you happy ❤ you are completely allowed to have a bad day. You are amazing!
Hope your day is a better one for you tomorrow Jaquie .... I love how Harlow decided on a different blanket for you... knew you needed cheering up with a giggle - clever dog. Hugs to all ...
I'm sorry your GP acted up agian... I hope you won't have much trouble anymore❤ You are such an inspiration to me, you, Jaquie Beckwith, are *literally* the reason I am still alive🍀💙💜💟💚🍀
I'm so sorry you have to go through all that vomiting- it must be painful. I'll do almost anything to avoid throwing up, it's so uncomfortable! I only throw up with migraines, but one time when I had a migraine, I threw up so hard that I blistered my esophagus, and had trouble swallowing food for days! I hope the rest of your day goes much better!
I just clicked on this.. Girl.. I am 47 yrs old.. I also have gastroparesis.. a paralyzed stomach they call it.. I have thrown up since 1997.. tremendous pain, throwing up continuously.. A condition I got along with many others due to my nerves and stress.. I had gallbladder out.. I have driven myself to the Emergency room many a nights by myself stopping to puke along the way. My poor son listened to me every morning before he got up for school from the age of 5.. I have many digestive issues.. I went Vegan about a year and a half ago.. and my symptoms got increasingly better.. I still vomit here and there.. very careful about what and how much I eat. I do not feel good all the time.. and I have really really bad GP and IBS issues from time to time.. but being Vegan helped soooooo much.. whole foods and less processed shit.. Government trying to kill us off with all the bs that is in processed food.. I do eat processed Vegan food also but not at the degree I need to worry about. Bless you. Some one that knows my pain. Because I am new why are you with FT? What exactly do you have going on? GOD I can so relate to this.. I could not even drink water... hell I threw up my spit. I love my dogs... they are every thing to me.. it is such a draining thing to go threw.. I could not keep jobs cause I was throwing up all the time.. in pain.. the pressure is unfucking real. Oh I also have my medical cannibus card.. it helps soooooo much. Even though I knew this already.. I live in a state that it is legal.. Best thing for nausea.
I'm sorry you felt so crappy today but at least you had Harlow snuggles to keep you going! No matter what type of mood I'm in due to my health,I always watch one of your videos and it always makes me feel much more positive about things again. You keep being you girl! xx
Dogs are so comforting, just having somebody there who is concerned and you can count on to pet and make you feel better. I hope you feel better girl! Fight on!
Been looking forward to your vlog for today, Jaquie! Hope that tomorrow will be a better day as compared to today too... Harlow's being an awesome companion as always and thank you for sharing~
I have gastroperesis also and I have a gastric stimulator. I have had it for over a year now and it has done me wonders. I hope you get feeling better soon.
Good job warrior! I'm new to your channel and I'm so thankful for all you have taught me. I have a close friend with some similar chronic conditions and you have helped me understand her better and how taught me how I can help! Your positivity is glorious!!!
Hi Jacquie, Thank you for sharing your everyday with us! Sorry to see you were so unwell. Hopefully it will be a shorter duration this time in between and glad you were able to eat something in the end. I love Harlow she's so gorgeous. Love your videos!! 💕💕
When you have vomiting spells even though you haven't eaten anything are you just dry heaving? Or is acid coming up? Or even nutrition from your feeding tube? Sorry to hear last night wasn't a good night and can be triggered even without eating orally☹️
DoubleEmA when I was dealing with chronic symptoms before I was diagnosed I was 12 and I would throw up acid because I was 23 pounds which sounds crazy and I couldn't eat or drink water and my gums were bleeding and I would throw up acid constantly and I'd be in agony the acid burned and ruined my gums so yeah even if you don't have food you have acid
im so sorry to hear you had a bad night Jaquie I hope that the rest of the week is somewhat easier on you. Hugs from Scotland. Know i am thinking of you x
So sorry you had a miserable night and day. I'm glad you have Harlow to give you love and support. She is such an amazing and loving dog. Your soup looks great....... wish I lived close by lol. Wishing for a good night for you tonight and no vomiting tonight or tomorrow. Take care.
Oof :( so sorry about the crappy symptoms. I hope today brought some relief ❤️ I have no doubts that you're doing everything you can. It sucks that chronic illnesses can just overrun any precautions.
I just started really watching you and you are so sweet and I support you 100% you're the best I love how you can say so happy while going through this it's heartwarming I love you so much
I'm only 12 and have Crohn's disease, and you really inspire me everyday! You keep me going. Stay strong Jaquie. (Also I wish I could buy merch but I can't 😢)
UnicornLPS Tube Im 12 right now and the doctors thought I had GP but i dont then they thought it was IBD or IBS but we found out worse news. I have a “Growth” in my bile duct which is giving me problems with my liver. I think im getting a very dangerous surgery so they can remove it because it causes alot of pain and the medication isnt helping anymore. Going in for another MRI soon so we can see if it grew because if it did I have to go into surgery. Im praying for you to get better and just to be pain free. I hope you are doing well because the only thing you can do is be positive ! 💙🥰😇🙏🏻 We can do this !!!
I truly understand I suffer from the SAMs GI issues I use the same infinity system and I'm also at a rate of 35 most days .....I also have an illiostomy due to my bowels being damaged as well....I hope you start to feel better....soon ....you are not alone..I get a lot of comfort watching you and Harlow....my dog Rocco gives me a lot of comfort as well ...thanks for sharing your days....
oh Jaquie :( .....I felt so sad at the beginning of this video....but yet your strength amazes me :) ....I'm so happy you have an amazing husband and such a great Hippo and your mother to help as well...((hugs))...hope switching nutrition types is of help!
You are a strong young women to endure all that the Lord has given you to carry. I'm sure that God has his reasons, but you are blessed with Harlo and Judd. Hope for the best.
Hey! It's your biggest Fan! It's Zoe, and I also have most of your diseases, but I was just reminding you, because I've gone through this to... I know, it's not fun vomiting. But just make sure your trying to stay hydrated. And eat if your able to. Hope you get better! I'll be praying for you! (I'm 11, so I have been watch every single one of your vids!) You and I can stay strong together! You inspire me everyday! 😆💖💪🙏🙌👍
I'm so sorry you weren't feeling well, and I hope you're feeling better now. Also, I thought I was the only one that woke up from naps super disoriented and confused, but apparently not xD Anyways, I love your channel and you're very inspiring!
I appreciate the look into your life. I have chronic issues and go. But, my husband isn't quite as loving as yours. But, I'm not nearly as sick as you.
Since your feeding tube goes to a different part of your intestines when you have vomiting spells does the formula come up or is it just stuff in your stomach. That soup looks so yummy
You feel crappy but you're looking super cute in your leggings! Hope you feel better soon! I'm celebrating with you the fact that you were able to eat!!! Hit us with what you put into that soup! Looks delicious! Sending prayers your way!
I get a lot of info and support from your videos. I strongly suspect now that I may have gastroparesis, not as severe as yours but symptomatic enough to make me definitely question it. The nausea and bouts of vomiting we just attributed to my diabetes up to now and there didn't seem to be much rhime or reason to it, but after watching your videos there's actually more sense to it than I was noticing I just wasn't connecting the dots, so to speak. Until I talk to my doctor about my suspicions eating smaller meals more often has helped ease things, adding more weight to the suspicion. Thank you so much for your videos I might not have figured out what this nausea was all about if it wasn't for these videos! :)
I'm so sorry. My name is Tyler and I have had diabeties for 7 years but Gastroprodiasis is so much worse. I love your channel and always keep persevering
I have a question ! If you are too sick or weak to walk or stand , how do you exercise and take Harlow out ? What about if Judd or your mom aren't there?
I tried a new medication yesterday and I was supposed to take the pill three times a day. Wouldn't you know it that after the third pill my MCAD was like hell no and I started having a reaction. I thought it would be a mild one because I am on CDI but nope. It was all meds on deck and I was able to avert anaphalaxis and not have to epi and go to the ER. I called my PCP to tell them what happened and the nurse was freaking out at me that I didn't go to the ER. So yeah, today I hurt, I hurt a lot. Thank you for sharing your struggle. It doesn't make things easier to deal with but it helps knowing that there are people out there going through the same or similar struggles. Not that I am wishing it on anyone but the pain and symptoms can feel so isolating because no one immediately around me is going through the same thing.
I threw up the other day and my dog planted his butt on my lap when I was on the floor afterwords. My dad offered to put him in his kennel till I was better and so he tried to take him away. He went with my dad for a few steps, broke away and planted his butt back on my lap. I felt so loved and it was so cute! He's my service dog prospect so I think it's good he wants me to feel well and I'm glad he's not aggressive about it.
I'm in the process of being diagnosed with Gastroparesis. I've noticed I have problems eating much on a daily basis. I have to eat small snacks all day. I can't eat big meals.
I was watching for this video for today. Are you having issues today today? I am having a so so day today so totally understand the feeling too tired to do anything when your body is being evil to you!
Are you eligible for a gastric pacemaker? I live in KY and we have a doctor here that is world renowned for his work with GP. He developed a surgery that puts a pacemaker type thing inside you and makes your stomach move. They also have external ones, but they are mainly used for temporary trials.
Another option is the vagus stimulating medication Pyridostigmine, which works in a similar manner but without the surgery. I've had success with it in treating both my gastroparesis and POTS. My Ehlers Danlos syndrome makes surgeries a bit risky, so my doctors wanted to avoid the pacemaker.
You are amazing, Jaquie! I had to fight for 3 months to get one medication. Everyone was losing patience with me. Hope today is a little better 💛
I love the inscentivity of people. I have gp too. It is so awful because you dont know when your going to be sick until your sick.
I have a question ! If you are too sick or weak to walk or stand , how do you exercise and take Harlow out ? What about if Judd or your mom aren't there?
Btw love your channel so much and so inspiring ❤️❤️
Your soup looked so good can you post the rescipe please thanks
Get better soon! 😊🌷✨
Hope tonight's easier for you! ❤️
