- I’ve showed you what my days at the hospital are like before, but this time I wanted to show you how I get down on a Saturday, when I actually only work a half day at the hospital in the mornings. Today I got lots of Bear time including some slobbery morning licks and some afternoon training, made one of my favorite weekend breakfasts with California oranges, a good tour around the hospital including inside our lab where we do point of care testing, and even a strong session in the gym. As you can see, even my weekends can get pretty hectic, but that’s the life of a doctor for you!

He literally checks off all of the boxes for a healthy lifestyle. Nutrition, socializing, going for a walk, working out. Good for him. I could never, but good for him.

Bear needs to get certified to be an official clinic animal ambassador. Young patients will love him. Bear could ease a lot of anxiety.
This would be a good idea. Though it all depends on the dog. Some dogs are great with kids. Alot of larger breeds have issues realizing their own size in comparison to other animals.
@@onizerg4652 really? I find that larger dogs are actually warmer and kinder than smaller yappy dogs (my opinion)

I know I'm a little bit late to comment here since this video is one year old hahahaha but I wanted to say that as a medical interpreter I feel so honoured and happy that you talked about the importance of the interpreter role for the medical care of the patients! I really love my job and being helpful to those who need care but suffer with the language barrier is a privilege for me, besides working with amazing doctors and nurses who are always kind and respectful!

Oranges are my favorite snacking fruit. There's just something so satisfying about them. I think it's the peel, it's like opening a present, and the present is juicy citrus goodness!

@@TheTheoser legit as in...a real service? Yes, it's legit. If you don't have a long haired dog yours might not need to be groomed as often, but you should still give them baths every so often at the very least, and most dogs will need their nails trimmed either at some point in their lives or regularly
Yup, same here.. Mostly cus he has all that light tan wool that i just want to hand strip so badly so that he looks even better! His paws look nicely trimmed tho for a newfie

Because of the fact that my doctor and teachers pushed me to read more, I've now started writing a book. It's super fun and you learn quite a lot about yourself.
Oh I love that he's against that "I just type your symptoms while you talk" thing. Literally the only doctor I've ever been to that doesn't do that was my pediatritian. I loved that guy. I wish more doctors would be like that because it just makes me super insecure, annoyed and it feels like they don't even actually listen but rather just type out a diagnoses to get rid of me.
I do that 😅 but that’s just cuz if I don’t write it while they are saying it , I might miss a detail that could be found important later on (like in some cases we need diff meds for 24 hrs or 32 hrs + etc)

@@farriyathalho7830 yeah I understand why doctors do that but it does feel disheartening. But I will say it's better than to make vocal recordings. I once had a Doc who did that. Every second sentence he would talk into his little recorder. Especially if you know a thing or two about medical vocabulary it is super irritating.
