It's just funny how irl people don't prefer photos taken on the iPhone(normally prefer Samsung and Oneplus photos),but iPhone users regard the iphone as the benchmark for smartphone cameras
Yeah it's truly disapointing. They usually choose the more vibrant, detailed with alot of light photo which iphone has been lacking on for a while now
Its because the iPhone generally takes cooler more blue photos but most people prefer warmer photos which the Samsung tend to produce

Iphone keeps the photos more realistic than other phone that plays with saturation or contrasts

The trick is to choose which photo you know for sure that was taken by that specific phone as your favorite. Like with the ultra wide low light photos, I knew which was taken by the iPhone 12 Pro Max because it doesn’t take the best ultra wide low light photos because of its f/2.4 aperture

Oneplus may not be the favorite for all the tech youtubers who chose pictures based on the orginality or anything but watching this video shows how OnePlus looks at their camera and makes it for the customers, majority of the pictures that were selected by people in this video were OnePlus'. Which means they know the customers well & what they want in the photos.
Majority of the photos here were ultrawide shots. Oneplus has one of the largest ultrawide sensors and the best ultrawide lens so it should definitely perform better. But not so much in the rest of the camera categories.

Oneplus's photos are so natural but Samsung's photos are much more cinematic so if I had a choice I would go with the Galaxy

It's hilarious how the best photo at around 11:00 was the Samsung, and Samsung enthusiasts picked it, and to them the worst one was the iPhone. Pure luck but it worked out.

@@baraikingz Depends. Nobody comes close to the iPhone's video recording, and I'm talking from experience (11 Pro Max and Note20 Ultra). But Samsung's still shots just look better to my eyes. Tech nerds always rave about the cool blue tones and natural photos the IPhone produces, but the general public just enjoys puncher photos with nice colours. It's like if you go to the grand canyon. To your eyes it's looks amazing, but through a phone camera with the processing of an Iphone it looks like a bunch of rocks. But with better colours and more saturation, it looks magical.
Anyways, to reiterate my point: never said anybody was superior overall.

@@Mythmx well most of them are paid marketers. Blind testing with photos taken by a good photographer usually gives you best insight for the quality the camera is capable of. Rather than "hi I took a shot of my driveway with automatic settings and I think Oneplus really sucks and this collaboration is a joke"

Ikr I thought samsung will smoke them all and apple will kill it in low light but one plus low lighters were the best, seems fishy.
@@tanaypatel8412 I don't think that the Apple ulta low light performance is actually good in general they just add more contrast but if you put them at the same brightness as the others they get very blurry and in low light you can see it 10:25 you can see the iPhone was worst by a huge margin I first guessed it was the pixel but was then shocked
ikr in all the smartphone camera tests which were not sponsored showed the one plus had unrealistic colors but out of nowhere oneplus takes amazing photos and that low light image was from the iphone 100%

Watching on my s21 ultra. The camera is really an improvement. It's hard to pick out what phone took that picture. Oneplus really step up the camera prefromence and I was surprised 😮

if we're get snapdragon versian of s21 ultra yeah,absolutely right The camera can take great photos. in exynus versian When you have a quarter in the camera app, the phone heats up and the photo processing goes down for no reason.

It's interesting to me how often the oneplus was chosen, in contrast to the mediocre reviews it revieved...
It's actually quite pleasing to people that just like color, compared to Samsung just forcing saturation, and the Pixel/iPhone having more natural colors, the OnePlus tailors contrast, saturation, and color tone settings, not realistically, but pleasingly.

After this video, I feel like the tech youtubers that were criticizing oneplus camera as not being as good as the iphone and samsung are wrong. Even I chose the oneplus photo most of the time as the best one. Maybe the video mode isn't as good on the oneplus?

OnePlus has really improved in the camera department this year. If only they hadn't created such a hype, tech reviewers would've loved it.
They should of saved the hype for next year since this year was only for color science and next year they will actually put hasselblad hardware into their cameras

OnePlus actually caught up pretty good over the years and well iPhone did not seem that good in any of the photos, while still some people believe iPhone the best or not even heard of other brand and how actually they pioneer some stuff.

OnePlus colour science just feels closer to how the human eye actually sees things.

We have tried doing a video every 2 weeks but even then we couldn't pull off the quality we wanted, so we're still working on trying to figure out how to speed up our production, maybe one day we will get down to a video a week, we just don't have the resources currently to pull it off. The trick is asking the people which one is their favorite. Makes them not think strategically from the beginning. Because the best way to go is look for a picture that would most likely be taken with a phone you want of the 4. Then it'll be easier saying which phone. When you choose according to your favorite, you make it difficult for yourself when it comes to choosing the phone.

I have the 8T and the battery life is just as good as any of the other samsung and apple devices I've ever owned. The fast charger charges my phone from 0-75 in 10-15 minutes. Keep in mind, the more storage you use, the worse the battery life will be, and that's true for any device
@@ilkogeorgiev3427 then you got a defective phone, or you LIVE on it and should lift your head up now and again. I have the 7pro, 8T, and 9pro and all of them can last the whole day with little issue.
