I have a RS6 Performance from 2018, absolute unit of a car. I mean the only downside is the fuel consumption hahaha, thank god for the tax laws in belgium on that
@@anthonydebock766 Well tbh it's a 70l gas tank and you get around 500 km out of this. So the gas station is a weekly / 2 times a week thing. For the rest it's pure smiles on your face, taxes are only 150 euros per year and that's it (except the fuel cost ofc)
DRC is terrible. Audi have had it for ages yet still can’t get it right. Whilst not an RS6, my 2015 RS4 needed a shock replacement in 2017 at only 35,000k, under warranty. Then in 2019 ( out of warranty ) another shock failed. Car never tracked, never abused. I ended up ditching the DRC for KW coil overs, lost the presets but who cares, soft was far too soft, sport was pushing my spine through my skull and auto too slow to react. Much much better ride now and reliable ( yes it’s 2024 and I still own this car, no desire to move it on ) in short, ditch DRC would be the first thing I’d do with an Audi RS anything.
other than that.. they're very reliable
haldex?

Can you confirm which generations of the RS6 you were referencing? Was it C6? C7? C8? - thanks.
The one in the video which is the C7
do they get timing chain or crank issues?
Generally, from what I understand longitudinal engine Audi = Torsen, transverse engine Audi = Haldex ?!
What sos ? What haldex? Oh dear
Haldex A3 and below, torsen A4 and above. Very much oh dear. Think he needs to re think the technician hoodie!
LOL miles and gallons
I’m sure “pops and bangs” are not good for the engine 🤔
I hear DRC tends to have more issues - most will need work done/replaced. Air suspension no trouble for me at 52k miles so far.
