The concert was so full of passion and emotions because Beth was still fighting her way back at the time and the Dutch fans never ever left her, even in the hard times. So she was very very appreciative... They booked a small hall in Paradiso Amsterdam to have the concert, but the loyal Dutch fans bought all the tickets in no time, so they decided to have the concert in the biggest hall, what was sold out in no time as well...
I think it’s one of the best live musical performance on YT.
When she gets back on stage, sticks her tongue out and smiles like "I own this room".

I have a recording that was taken around the time of this one (maybe a few months before) and she does another insane belt at the end of this song. I couldn't believe how she returned back then. We went to see her many times, but this is peak Beth Hart. (edit... it's on YT it's the concert earlier that year on january 15th).
Vocal coaches talk about correct body position while singing. With no in-ear monitors and her body all over the place, Beth was on point and never missed a beat during the whole song. Amazing performance. She’s my favorite blues singer. 😄🤘 Shout out for Beth’s channeling abilities to see into the future for inspiration of Jet Li’s movie The One (2001) for a song she recorded in 1993. 😜

I have been waiting for you to react to Beth, since I came across your channel. This is one of the deepest rabbit holes you have EVER come across. I am totally obsessed with her, as a person, musician and survivor. She is helping me through a very difficult period. She has helped many others, for real. When you get a chance, look at the bios of and interviews with her on TH-cam.
I totally agree with you .... she is one of the most Amazing singers in the world and yes she has come a long ways in her life and she talks about her husband and how he stayed with her through everything she went through ! So as Amazing as she is....he's just as Amazing in his own ways for staying with her. Which was exactly what a real husband supposed to do as well as a wife !
This is a very early recording...Beth has matured into one of the most talented singers, songwriters and performers of her generation...in addition to being an incredible singer, she’s an accomplished keyboard player and guitarist...add to your list of what’s already been requested “Caught Out In The Rain” live from London’s Royal Albert Hall, and “Nutbush City Limits” live from Amsterdam...her journey overcoming drug and alcohol addiction and her battles with bipolar disorder is an incredible story of redemption...

Very early is a point of view. She was 32, at that age Janis Joplin was dead and Robert Plant had done all the Zeppelin stuff. At this time she was not as famous but this show is a peak in his carrier, she was in full possession of his means. She evolved since and shown others facets of her talents, but there will not be another Paradiso. This live album will remain unique.

Truly love Beth Hart. What a performer! And what a performance this was, she was truly giving it all, it was exciting, sweet, sexy - if your heart doesn't beat faster while witnessing this you might be dead inside ;) The first time I'Ve listened to Beth was as part of Les Paul's epic (yes, THAT Les Paul, the guy the guitar is named after) "American Made World Played" album, which featured all kinds of great musicians and vocalists, like Eric Clapton, Steve Lukather, Billy Gibbons, Joss Stone, Sam Cooke, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Edgar Winter, Buddy Guy and many more. And among this all star lineup Beth stood out. BTW. this album was made in celebration of Les Paul's 90th birthday and he himself played on it. I've been a fan of Beth's ever since. She's just fantastic. She even makes listening to Joe Bonamassa fun ;)

How anyone could give a thumbs down on this song or any song that Beth Hart does is just beyond my thoughts and it really shows you just how much people really know or understand music and if it's not your cup of tea then you don't have to insult her intelligence by throwing shade her way . If you really knew this woman's story and what she's overcome in life.... you would probably feel a little different about her . Just saying !

my favorite is Beth doesn’t sing the blues, she iIS the blues. She doesn’t just sing a song, she becomes the song. The emotions you see are not acting, but real based upon all of her life. She has experienced pretty much all that a person can experience, good and bad. Check out the whole concert, Paradiso 2004, on your own, but I would love to see you react to Immortal and Whole Lotts Love. Remember I am a knowledgeable Beth fanatic, so take my advice.

Paradiso is in Amstrdam (NL). Lots of great aritts played there. Stones, Prince, Beth ad a load of other great ones. And Beth is telling how it is. She is awesome and diviing into the crowd. No worries!

I remember the first time I watch that live video am I the one I was Blown Away by her. I remember not leaving the house and watching videos of her all day long that was over five years ago since then I have met her four different times. I took pictures with her she is so down to earth and real the last time I met her was at her private church I got to hear her recovery story and she did a concert after this was strictly for the fans and it was my birthday that day it was surreal I even saw her right before the show started and got pictures with her I loved watching all of you react anything she does with Joe or with her own band is spectacular

Yes in this last videos incredible female singers , in this case a little bit weird at the beginning during the speech but great empathy and for sure another real artist ! P.S. Guys for fun if you want you may enjoy " Rock and Roll Queen" by Skarlett Riot !!! It's a song of 2013...so you should have an idea of the Evolution of the band and the female Singer (the other members weren't at that time) !!! It's a Term that i have learned on Cristina's Forum ! I have the idea that it's common over the Metal Community !

IMO, Beth is the best contemporary blues singer we have. Knowing that she and Joe Bonamassa decided to collaborate and do live performances in addition to recording around five albums together is a match made in heaven.
I will also add that there is a young Norwegian musical prodigy who can sing in several genres, but she loves to sing jazz. There is a long list of cover songs that she has done from Jazz, to pop, blues, country and top 40. Her name is Angelina Jordan. Once you go down that rabbit hole there is no escaping. I suggest that you start with her jaw dropping nine year old performance of, “I’ll put a spell on you”. I highly recommend that you remove your socks before viewing because she’ll blow them off anyways.

Beth is the bomb!!! Her early song “Momma” shows off her skills on the keyboards. As she has gotten older, she has completely mastered her craft. Her performance of “Caught Out in the Rain” live at Royal Albert Hall is a true masterpiece. She is truly one of a kind .
she also has another awesome keyboard song called "Mama this ones for you" she had a very emotional performance with her mom sitting there on mothers day 2020.
