SOUND: Very good. Glad to see you finally got to Beth Hart. Excuse me for a moment. I was raised Southern Baptist. I have to stand up and walk around, hands over head, testifying. A-m-e-n!🤷♀️ This was live at the Paradiso in the Netherlands. They oversold tickets and the place was packed. Beth's people filmed this entire concert (Amazon carries it). Just think of it ... this is just 1 of 15 songs she did at that concert. Beth was born severely bipolar. A broken, damaged family life. Being ashamed of her mental illness. An artist puts their heart on their sleeve for others to see and hear. Genius, has the ability to lay their shit bare and share it with the souls of others. Beth and SRV had that ability and that is why they are requested like they are.
This was recorded in Amsterdam in 2004. Beth was on the road to recovery and they booked a much smaller room at the venue. Because of the great demand from her fans, the show was moved to the large theater at Paradiso. This is why Beth and the band were so appreciative of the crowd that night. Beth Hart is the performer songwriter singer plays guitar keyboards she’s phenomenal you can never go wrong listening to Beth Hart she has so many songs albums that express what we all go through she is my number one artist my go to artist and fortunately I know Beth and her family personally we see her at shows, but we also know her behind the scenes, we’ve laughed, & cried together, an had a lot of WTF moments lol. she loves people & the world also has had many struggles in life , and with her strength and courage to share in her trials in life with us so that we too can not feel alone and heal too. And hey who wouldn’t want to listen to some kick ass fucking jams!!! she can take you places you never thought you could go. As u experienced here, it speaks for itself. I love you Beth my sister my friend keep jammin stay safe and dude Do yourself a favor keep her in the top three or more and Plz keep doing reactions videos of her music this was in 2004 an older video she has many colors to her songs. While hanging out she said to me“ You know the older I get, I change, life changes & all I know is to write & sing abt it, it’s how I keep from going crazy, & if I can touch 1 person, help another person bc of the messed up stuff I went through, then I know I’m walking the right path, maybe I won’t “F” it up, I’m just thankful to be alive”!!! She’s the real deal !!!! So glad u have now experienced BETH, one of a kind. A new song out 2019 she’s so proud of & we talked about before it’s release “Thankful” from “ War in my mind” album. I always prefer her live, she engages the audience. Other songs, Leave the light on, LA Song, Guilty, I’d rather go Blind, Face forward son, Mama, Skin, Sister heroin, Take it easy on me, Geeezzz so many more. BYW “ AM I THE ONE” she was singing to her now husband of 18 yrs, Scott the blond guy that helped her on stage. Have a jamming day!!!!
Love her or hate her... she is brutally honest on stage. Her songs are an emotional roller coaster and the feelings invoked are as raw and real as it gets!!!
Hahaha. You're on a Beth roll now.... Love watching your face as she does her magic. Hope you continue to discover her work. There's so many good ones, recently I saw her do Tina's Nutbush City Limits and while Tina owns that song, Beth certainly does it justice. It's the studio version. Beth is Supernatural! That's the only possible explanation for what she does. Everybody else kind of just get off the stage. Keep up the good work.
I am so happy for you kiddo that you have discovered Beth Hart. When I first saw this very video it literally changed me forever. I love when people react the same way about "am I the one ". I hope you have checked out all of her stuff. It would take days have fun.
I've have only just found Beth Hart, I had the very same reaction as you when I heard this God given talent. She is coming to the UK next March, I'm queueing for the tickets now !!!
The girl Sonya is a best friend of hers they grew up together and it was Sonya's Birthday, Beth is married to her Manager Steve. Beth is a rare jewel in the world of music...See her live if you get the chance! Great review!
Thanks for putting into words what I’ve been feeling every time I watch/listen to this performance, and I listen to it often. It’s sexy, special, raw, and it reaches inside you to strum your emotions.
I've been following Beth for over a year now... & she is just a bundle of raw energy let loose and running wild ! Every song, concert is a beautiful adventure for your ears... enjoy the ride ! 😇🎙
Great reaction, Beth does bring it out in people, and with people, she is the real thing, and been through the hard times with both alcohol and drugs and talks about it very openly. This performance is 15 years now and she has toned it down some, but her voice is still amazing and she uses it like the fine instrument that it is.
Okay and just another thought sorry. I just finished up hearing the end of your reaction with your comments and I was really moved. When I have been depressed in my life, I like you had a very troubled and neglected childhood and a lot of pain in my life and I have to tell you that when I watch Beth Hart, she is such a life force that you just have a visceral reaction and she makes you happy to be alive and though I doubt highly that anyone could ever reach the Pinnacle of her Talent, she makes you want to Aspire to do better and be better and be something. She is truly a life force that transcends simply performing. You perfectly expressed that and I am so happy that others see it.
Great reaction and Beth Hart is the GOAT of female Blues singers. Please do a reaction to her song Caught out in the Rain” @ The Royal Albert Theater 2018”
This was the last song of the concert , In 2004 Beth Heart has onley two countries intererested in her: The Netherlands and New Zea Land, We in the Netherlands stayed loyal to her. Beth hart is a gem of Music
Fantastic on point reaction. Best I've seen. A simply mind blowing performance by this severely underrated musician who can outsing and outperform the so called big names of music today.
One of the best reactions ever. 09:55 I laughed too hard 😂😂😂 what a react was that. I LOVE Beth Hart and you have to listen to "Immortal" from the same concert
So glad you enjoyed this! I fell in love with Beth at first listen back in 90's. She has lots of great stuff as a solo artist and superb songs collaborating with Joe Bonamassa (a stellar blues guitarist). Try I'll Take Care of You, Black Coffee, Joy, so many to name really. So happy to see a new Beth fan being born! Thanks for another great reaction. Enjoy your journey with Beth💕
Have loved Beth for quite awhile, glad she is getting exposure by reaction videos to a new audience. Please check out some of her other songs, including some with guitarist Joe Bonamassa...
Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart Etta James Cover "I'd Rather Go Blind" Live in Amsterdam also "I'll Take Care of You" and Another Beth and her guitarist Jon Nichols featuring Joe Bonamassa "well well" Jon and Joe have a guitar dual.
Welcome to Beth's music! I have loved her music for over 20 years! It raw emotion. Check out ..Caught Out in the Rain Live at the Royal Albert Hall 2018. I'd love your reaction to that one too.
Love the way at the end she turns her back to the crowd and just pushes the mic away and kinda struts away.... the precurrsor to dropping the mic...amazing singer, amazing songwriter,a performer...my #1 ...loved your spot on commentary...
Beth is Married to an awesome man and has come thru struggles with addiction. She is doing great now. She also performs with Joe Badamasa. Joe was introduced to the music scene by BB King. He played BB's 76th birthday party. When he was 11 years old. Child prodigy
Just stumbled upon your channel yesterday and now I'm obsessively watching your classic rock videos. I love how real and honest you are, but also kind and diverse. When you get the chance, you should definitely do a reaction to Samantha Fish, blues and rock guitarist/singer (I Put a Spell on You... or really anything she does) AND Sister Sparrow (Freight Train and Dr. Feelgood), another bluesy rock band. Both MINDBLOWING, and if you love Beth Hart just as much as I do, I think you'll LOVE them.
I keep revisiting your reaction to this, it’s one of my favorite performances of all time! I also highly recommend you react to one of her original songs, called Mama. It was the very first song I heard from her years ago, and that’s all it took for me to be obsessed.
Beth is the blues. She has plenty of pain and hard emotion to draw from. Since you said this was fire you should check out Close To My Fire with Joe Bonnamassa in Amsterdam. It is a little more playful than this one. I'll Take Care Of You with Joe is also hot. btw, you sound great.
Ive seen her shows on youtube before. But never like this one tho. THIS was a performance 👌🏼 I thought it was over... then BAM, they took it to church 👏🏼 btw, ur expressions were mirroring my own i think lol
She is sooooo powerful and sensual at the same time! Janis Joplin would be proud of her... My Mom died last year, so this is a song from Beth i love so much: Mama this one's for you Even if it brings tears to my eyes
found it. and honestly I can't even rate greatness like this....I mean Joplin obviously, Prince, Michael Jackson, Elvis, Zeppelin , Queen, even Johnny Lang have all had this level of performances in their own right. ..and I may add IMO as amazing as she and Stapleton for example are with POWER the same emotion can be done other ways some do it with runs, some do it with Rage, and some do it with "finesse" like Eva Cassidy, Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, Otis Redding Joss Stone to name a few and I could go on but I think you get the point. To me this is what makes it hard for me to "rank" these performances, but no doubt this is world class top of the heap.. Anyway, Glad I found you because those of us who see music the way you do are rare these days it seems, I hope the world evolves and proves me wrong!
Great reaction! She is absolutely incredible, straight from her soul. She puts literally everything into it. I like to compare her singing to SRV's guitar playing. They are both one with their instrument. And BTW, your sound is so much better now :D
Beth Hart is incredible live. I had the opportunity to see her a few years back at the 930 Club in Washington D.C. , absolutely phenomenal. May I suggest you check out Beth Hart and Jeff Beck "I'd Rather Go Blind" at the Kennedy Center Honors to Buddy Guy. Very impressive performance.
In my world she is my #1. I even have her face tattooed on my arm. My personal vocal and songwriting hero. As for relationship, the guy who pulled her up on stage is Scott, her husband. Just info there. He's a great dude. Great reaction. Others just for personal consumption are Mama from the same show, Waterfalls and one that is just a killer, Sister Heroine.
@@DramaSydETV Oh I know you were. I caught it. I was just throwing that little nugget of info in there. It was funny man. You know that girl is still talking about that night and rewatches that video religiously.
Back in the late 80s and early 90s "Star Search " was the talent show of the day. Beth Hart was Grand Champion with 10 victories and 8 perfect scores and "Am I The One " was victory number 8 her last perfect score streak. Go see TH-cam "Star Search " for raw Beth Hart.
@@DramaSydETV I just saw th-cam.com/video/UEHwO_UEp7A/w-d-xo.html Joe Bonamassa on guitars with Beth covering Etta James song "I'd Rather go Blind" and also Caught Up In The Rain(live at royal albert hall)2018 both are phenominal performances.Beth and Joe on guitars is pure magic Joe is amongst the top 3 blues guitarists presently.
Great reaction, Beth Hart is always 🔥 could you please react to Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa doing "I'll take care of you"? Please and thank you 😊 you won't be sorry I promise. God bless!
You're the best reactor?! Comment back?! You're the first I've seen loving this like I do!!!! Thank you for getting it! It's sad we didn't know before!!! We can be free!!🤗🌹😎
The first time I watched/heard this live performance on TH-cam I cried because of the sheer power, emotion, and sensuality Beth exudes in this performance. My whole body shook, I was laughing and crying because my body didn't know how to process the power of this woman. This part gets a bit TMI but I feel like others could relate. One day I was home alone watching TH-cam and I put the song on really loud and laid back in my chair and I let the song into my body and I had a full body orgasm. She's making love to us through the music, you cannot deny that.
This is my first time watching you and Beth. She's awesome and so are you! I will be checking out more if both of you. I know this is probably out of your comfort zone, but can you react to a guy named Dimash? He is awesome as well!
Beth is----- ALONE!! PERIOD!! Ain't no one ahead or next to Her! She is Living Blue's. Yaw'll gather round now and get a Dish of what she laying on you! Is better yet with Joe Bonamassa! Two Titans of Blue's on One Stage!!! Speechless
When people ask you if you had a time machine what would you do would you stop World War one or two and I always answer yes right after I got back from this concert 😂
What happens in Vegas..Stays in Vegas...What happens in Holland...Is not allowed in many other lands...But this is worth risking smuggling laws. How about Joe's guitar..Always great.fabulous duo

You know shits good when you give that side eye stank face! Nice reaction brother!
Great reaction! She is absolutely incredible, straight from her soul. She puts literally everything into it. I like to compare her singing to SRV's guitar playing. They are both one with their instrument. And BTW, your sound is so much better now :D
Ditto!
I was making a joke about the relationship thing but I feel you lol
@@DramaSydETV Oh I know you were. I caught it. I was just throwing that little nugget of info in there. It was funny man. You know that girl is still talking about that night and rewatches that video religiously.
She let it all out in that performance!
Love your reaction!!
Beth Hart is amazing! Love your Smokey the Bear hat 😀
I just want to know the other 2 in your top 3.
The whole concert is on you tube and it’s like this, and shows range and diverse types of styles.
Welcome to the Beth Hart experience
Wow wow .
I know right?
Sound is great!👍
I see a lot of people recommending Beth and Joe. Just about anything they do together will blow your mind. Also, check out Beth and Jeff Beck.
Love it??? Yesss!!!
Beth wrote this song and sang it at Star Search in 1994.
I absolutely LOVE it!!!
When u said top 5, I said top 3 easily!!! She so raw, sexy, theatrical, and thing else u can think of... amazing performance!!!!!
I swear I thought she was going to go down on that girl. I think Beth Hart would tear a man up in the sack...lol
Great reaction, Beth Hart is always 🔥 could you please react to Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa doing "I'll take care of you"? Please and thank you 😊 you won't be sorry I promise. God bless!
Its coming!
Haha! She's Awesome!!!😍👌
I'm 66 yrs old and have HAD A LIFE but Beth is the one that SCARES ME
You're the best reactor?!
Check out her cover of Zepplins' Whole Lotta Love from the Presido (same show) and Stuck out in the Rain from the Royal Albert Hall
This is one of the best reactions that I've ever experienced. Thanks man. 18:16 17:51
Thank you
I am 70. I had the good fortune to see Janis Joplin live. Beth Hart is Janis Joplin on steroids. She is truly "The One!"

This is my first time watching you and Beth. She's awesome and so are you! I will be checking out more if both of you. I know this is probably out of your comfort zone, but can you react to a guy named Dimash? He is awesome as well!
Didnt expect that finally at the end did Yah? Hahahaha... told u awesome chit!!! Co out her other stuff. Crazy
It was Me who ask you to give her a listen. And you're very welcome. And yes that's her woman she's. Sing to.
Speechless
She did with this whites what she wants. Great Beth! Hippy 60-th.
GO PATS!!! Check out “I’ll Take Care of You” too if you haven’t already yet.
You rock dude! New sub...
Ain't she something??? Janis smiles in heaven when she sings.
In this same show she does an incredible cover of Humble Pie (Steve Marriott) I Don't Need No Doctor
