  • Highlights of Eddie George's four seasons at Ohio State. George played a backup role his first two seasons in Columbus, but scored eight total touchdowns, and showed flashes of what would ultimately make him one of the best running backs in Ohio State history. He became the starter in 1994, and ran for 1,442 yards and 12 touchdowns. Despite his success, there was still some lingering doubt over just how good George was heading into the 1995 season. He responded by running for 1,927, gaining 2,344 total yards from scrimmage, and scoring 25 total touchdowns; good enough to earn him the Heisman Trophy.
Shoutout to @SteelBuck 6 once again; a lot of these clips come from their videos so subscribe to their channel and show them some love!

I went to Ohio State. It was hilarious to us that two football teams, a hundred and ten thousand fans in the stands, and millions of TV and radio fans knew they were just going to shovel the ball to Eddie every time and it was another automatic six points. Fricking hilarious.

Eddie was and is top 3 rbs to play for the buckeyes not to mention a Heisman trophy winner. Who cares who he had blocking for him he had to make the cuts and run all those defensive players over. Sure the line helps but to use that logic Emmitt smith was a bum?!
