    One of the most incredible QBs to put on an Ohio State jersey. There may never be another QB with his skillset.

    Im glad that the Buckeyes recruit elite arm talent at QB now, but damn this was fun to watch. Brought back so many good memories. Braxton was just so athletic and elusive with excellent vision. Legendary Buckeye forever.

    braxton didn't have elite top end speed, like pryor or teddy ginn. wasn't a throwing machine like troy or, much moreso, the shroud CJ stroud. but braxton had barry sanders moves. he was a first down MACHINE. for all the running he did, touches he had, he NEVER lost a fumble at ohio state. always quietly led the team, always had heart, sacrificed his entire professional scouting resume for the buckeyes and JT and Cardale. he stayed with ohio state during the no-bowl era, and returned them to national conversations. absolute legend, i know the national media and sports world has forgotten him, but buckeye nation, please don't. if we could have a new braxton every four years for the rest of eternity, i would gladly take that. even if it meant missing the CJ's that come around occasionally.
    my all-time favorite buckeye. and the VT spin might be my all-time favorite move

      Yes insanely slippery and shifty. Elite field vision.

      Yep. Well said man, his overall impact he’s a top 5 buckeye ever.. easily. 100% the franchise for a solid couple years. My ONLY gripe here; Stroud’s don’t really come around ever.. think ab it.. As far as Ohio state football, CJ stroud fits the requisites of literally ‘Generational’
      Cheers go bucks

    His awareness was incredible, he somehow always knew where every man on the field was, where they were going, and how fast. So many times he would dodge a tackle from a defender he wasn't looking at at or turn on a dime and throw the ball to a receiver he hadn't checked on for several seconds, he just felt everyone on the field around him and that's why he was so good when the play broke down. I know he wasn't the greatest arm talent, but if it weren't for injury he would have been a multi-year NFL starter based on his football IQ alone

    Braxton was such a treat to watch.. seeing these highlights 10 years later reminded of just how elite he was running the ball. Shewww.

    I love your highlights. They’re pure game footage without all the slow motion and fake stuff! Can you do one on Zeke and Beanie?

    • @ColtonDenning
      @ColtonDenning  6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hey Walter, sorry I didn't respond earlier. First, thanks for the compliment; glad you enjoy the highlights. I won't do a Zeke one since there's already a really good 45 minute one of him out there, but Beanie is a great idea and I'll get on that after the Rose Bowl and I cut highlights for the players on this season's team. Chris Gamble video coming soon as well!

    Colton, I love all your videos, man! But this one didn't include any passing highlights, showing off how strong of an arm Brax had. He's one of my favorite Buckeyes. Since you made this video of all of his electrifying runs, I request you make one of all his great throws. He's forgotten about as the great QB he was.

    with hindsight I just wish to have seen him back at QB in 2015 running the zone read with Zeke, the offense was just so choppy that year trying to figure out the QB and force touches to Braxton in the slot..

    During 2013, his throwing was way better than previous years. It was top tier. Had he not gotten hurt in 2014 he’d been goated at the qb position like lamar Jackson would be 2-3 years later. It’s sad that he got hurt I guarantee if he hadn’t gotten hurt he would’ve dominated in 2014 especially with zeke as his RB. Him and zeke would’ve been the deadliest qb/rb duo. If we thought Carlos and braxton were good imagine what zeke and braxton would’ve been. I miss braxton he’s my favorite buckeye of all time and to the greatest athlete in osu sports history he put OSU back on the map after all the Pryor and tressel shit. He is one of a kind. I also think he was better than Jt in my opinion but oh well. Braxton will always be my favorite athlete ever he made me fall in love with sports him and Russell Westbrook and now lamar Jackson are the reason why I go hard in my workouts.

    Unstoppable ncaa 14 counter option. I miss college games, and now that people can get paid, we need throwback teams like 2k. I personally wanna see 02’ Miami vs 14 OSU

      ncaa absolutely screwed the buckeyes. now we are paying tens of millions to college athletes. ofc tressel would've been the coach still, and those were his players, so no urban. but i'd be okay if tress was STILL our coach

    Sucks for Braxton that Ohio St was not eligible to play in the championship game the year he lead them to an undefeated season due to the team being in trouble for something that happened before the players on that team were even going to OSU yet smh.

    Was Braxton a QB or an RB his first 3 years? Where are all of his passing highlights? I know he wasn’t the best passer but only one highlight in a 32 minute video is insane.
