Please do a video about dermaplaining! I would love to know how to prep for it and the best technique and the after care! I've been loving the more regular uploads recently! Thank you for your videos 💖
I've tried dermaplaning myself and have gotten it done professionally many many times and every single time, I've broken out. My skin barrier just can't handle it. If your skin is like mine, I'd recommend bleaching the peach fuzz instead if you want it to look less prominent. I just use a facial hair bleach and keep it on for 15 minutes. It turns the peach fuzz light and less noticeable. You don't have to do this of course, and in the grand scheme of things, people aren't going to notice your peach fuzz because no one is looking at your face that close up, so don't feel like you have to get rid of completely normal parts of your face ❤️
Mine is pretty light so I don’t feel like I would want to get rid of it. Also it’s a natural protectant against the sun(I still apply spf everyday). I just clean up my brows and my upper lip but I don’t touch anything else and my makeup comes out pretty good
I've had breakouts from it too, but only the first couple of times I've done it. In the meantime I also started doing at-home IPL (Ulike) and I've been doing it on my face too. Not sure if it's just the IPL or the products I'm using (started using some new ones recently), but my skin is looking better than ever. IPL is supposed to help with acne and acne scars too, and I'm def seeing an improvement. Don't know if it's gonna help get rid of the peach fuzz entirely, because there isn't a lot of contrast between the peach fuzz and my skin tone, but it has definitely reduced it. My skin is generally sensitive to shaving and waxing, so I've had to depilate for years now, and IPL has been a life changer for me.
@@aleksandraanya9559 I know IPL has helped people for sure! It’s unfortunate that they don’t make a lot of options for darker skin tones, who are the ones usually suffering with visible dark hair on their faces.
@@aleksandraanya9559How do you like your Ulike? I’ve been debating whether to invest in it or not. My skin is just too sensitive for dermaplaning, sadly. And I spend so much time plucking. 😢 I just don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on something that won’t work.

My first time discovering this channel and i'm in love!! You have really great advices that works!! Thank you so much you're a life saver, you just won a new follower!!
I'm into a full coverage look, so I wear concealer all over my face. I know some find it "heavy" but if you think about it, I need to use more foundation to get the same amount of coverage with less concealer. So I apply less product and it's not as slippery as foundation.
Very smart. I realized I looked better with light make up. After years of the 2000s Smokey eye I finally just switched to a simple wing and lips and blush. So much fresher.
Yes to the dermaplaining video! And I love your voluminous hair, a video about the basics of hair curling and controlling volume would be great because I have no idea how to start.
It's a struggle for sure! I tend to get the green shade of the Nyx liquid concealer and add a bit of that to my foundation. I also add it to my cream contour (using my hand as a palette, then I just stamp it on wherever I need it and blend). Gives a more cool-toned natural contour colour!

Wait did I miss it? Not buffing your makeup and then using powder on dry skin… you said you would come back to it but then I must have missed it. That’s my big issue… but also it feels like my foundation never dries. I try primer… I not using primer. Setting spray, no setting spray doesn’t matter… I end up using a bunch of powder to make it dry and then wait ten minutes and use more powder… my face looks cakey
I watched 2x due to thinking I missed it too. I think she was referring to the dermaplaning facials to get the dead skin off in order to make your skin glow with or without foundation
Hey ❤️ I had this issue but since I switched to the Dior forever skin concealer and Laura mercier powder I’ve not had issues. It looks smooth and moisturizer and sets down. I have dry skin and some hormonal acne on my jaw. I use a light moisturizer then spf and let it set in for like 20 mins while I do my hair and have coffee. Then I use a thin layer of the concealer which can be used as foundation too as it’s a big wand and smooth. Then I press it in gently no rubbing more like press and slight blend. There is a brush at Sephora which is like a slightly angled foundation brush . Don’t blend around too much. Then I give it a min and use a fry beauty blender or a powder puff whatever I have is clean, I dip it into my transluscent powder and then press it along the back of my hand to evenly coat the sponge or puff and remove any extra powder and then very gently press it under my eyes and around my mouth and over any marks. Leave that Then spritz Mac fix plus or Charlotte tilbury setting spray. I’ve tried it all. I get so many compliments and it wears very nicely in the day . Hope this helps u

She sounds great, she looks healthy and her content is the same quality (just maybe shorter videos). People act like they know her and what she does in her personal life. It doesn’t come off as genuine, it doesn’t come off as caring, it’s very judgmental. That no makeup example you gave was perfect because that’s how it feels. It’s insulting. She looks beautiful and I’m sure those comments hurt her in some way.
@@Ella-kn9qd Exactly. She always had that nose and lips. I think its her eyebrow shape and contacts that are different
I agree! People commenting on how she should go back to thicker brows are so annoying too. That’s her style, leave her alone!
Your videos are the most sweet and authentic I love how genuine and away from bs you are!
This comment section is disheartening. I’ve been watching you ever since I was a teenager and now I’m gonna be 25, and still after all these years you put out quality, detail oriented content. I appreciate you and don’t listen to these people. Ones judgement is just a criticism they have deeply within themselves. You’re awesome and thank you!
Your hair is so gorgeous!!! It reminds me of Farah Fawcett! The makeup is everything, and the tips are so helpful. I'm just starting to use makeup, and I've been loving your content!
Thank you so much 🩷🩷🩷 welcome to my channel!!
You look absolutely stunning ESPECIALLY with the fillers. The definition of otherworldly beauty you made the exact right choices and got the most dreamy result possible
she was extremely beautiful...i subscribed her because of her extremely feminine beauty...she was not need any kind of filler or surgery...btw her content is worth it
Please do a video about dermaplaining! I would love to know how to prep for it and the best technique and the after care!
I've been loving the more regular uploads recently! Thank you for your videos 💖
I love the dark hair on you Alexandra!! It just looks so elegant and natural on you!!💖
I've tried dermaplaning myself and have gotten it done professionally many many times and every single time, I've broken out.
😢 I just don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on something that won’t work.
the eyeshadow tip was exactly the kind of content im looking for personally! when it comes to the beauty of the face the overall impression is what matters, which means balance is of the essence! though i guess you can apply this framework to the whole body of course ❤
I'm glad to see your videos! Thank you for your work! You inspire me to love and take care of myself! It's wonderful!♥
that hair volumeeeeee girl you're a living doll
Last week i did a flat hair dark eyes combo and felt something isn’t right but never actually knew it until your tip!!
My first time discovering this channel and i'm in love!! You have really great advices that works!! Thank you so much you're a life saver, you just won a new follower!!
What could be better than watching your video after a stressful day)))))
Oh my god what the heck has she done to her face? She was so naturally stunning, its sad to think she couldn’t see that 😢
I think thicker not over plucked brows will suit you much better and make you look alot younger
So interesting!! pls cover more of these types of mistakes. Not a lot of TH-camrs are covering this type of makeup mistake! Thanks!
I love makeup mistake videos too!
That's really smart! I suppose the preference for foundation could be over practicity blending, then? Idk but I do a lot of concealer only base
Yes to the dermaplaining video! And I love your voluminous hair, a video about the basics of hair curling and controlling volume would be great because I have no idea how to start.
Yes to the dermaplaining video.
Your videos are always great and informative.
Thank you.
Your videos are so helpful! Thank you!! I never knew why the dark shadows didn't look right on me at times, now I know it was my hairstyle!
Your hair is always so beautiful!!! Great tips 😁.
I have very fair olive skin so for the most part, I've given up on foundation and stick to bronzer and blush to add a little dimension.
Cant wait for your derma planing video!Where are your ADORABLE pjs from?? Love you girl

omg I remember watching ur jeans video like 5 years ago it literally saved me
YES derma-planing tutorial video would be so helpful!! please!!
Nevermind makeup mistakes that ruin beauty. It's more like people need to not make mistakes of jacking up their faces endlessly with fillers, botox, and botched surgeries. Or thinking mistakes where we think we need to alter our faces and bodies until no end to it.
Ikr, and she has the nerve to caption the video "THAT RUIN BEAUTY" and proceed to give advice on what makes one attractive/balances the features etc when the woman is herself stuck in an endless loop of perfectionism to the point she has lost herself in tacky clothing, makeup, fillers, etc.
@@khyatiurfmaya Yet she's honest about her advice. Not every type of makeup or even person is beautiful, she is, suck it. I don't get why you two are so mad when other comments find this video helpful and so do I, just face the truth
Overpowdering 😭 but I have a really oily skin and sometimes simply have to do it, if it's hot outside and/or I have an event that'll last all day...
Alexandera,
Dark hair colors look so good on you.
Can people in the comments stop giving their unsolicited opinions about her appearance? She doesn't owe us an explanation and doesn't owe us her older look. I know she looks different and if she wants she will tell us about it someday, but let's focus on the video's topics until then.
she has such an entrancing beauty.. so naturally gorgeous
Naturally😂
@@ht8038 idk whats so funny... i've been watching her for over 10 years and she's looked the exact same
would you consider doing a video on Kibbe body type ? I don't think you've done one yet and I'd absolutely love to have your take on it ! 🎉
Kibbe really helped me. Always wondered why this loose baggy jeans and tee shirt modern look the girls wear didn’t look good on me. I’m a soft dramatic. We need glam. Lol
Omg same!!!! I kept trying to wear really oversize pants and coats and the effect was never what I expected 😂 then I realised I need more structure (still not sure 100% what type I am but definitely not a natural or romantic)
I absolutely agree, especially with the dermaplaning part.. I started doing it recently and it literally makes the biggest difference. Ofcourse, the biggest thing in dermaplaning is aftercare, but if you do it right it is life changing in terms of skincare benefits or makeup.
you always manage to come up with tips that I've never heard before, it's amazing I love your vids so much ! 🌸
Exactly 💯
Alexandra! you look like an absolute doll !😻 thank you for these tips, your content is always helpful 💗
Hi, first, thank you! I have a question - how to apply makeup to the nrckarea if you are wearing a light or white button down shirt .... No makeup does not look right as there is too much contrast... Please let us know! Thank you!
OMG UR BACK I FIND U EVERY FEW YEAR. I was obsessed w uwhen u would make story times and we’re still a stylist in Nassau hey my li queen
Awesome video! It would be great if you could talk about makeup mistakes to avoid with oily and combination skin!
This video is fantastic, I love how detailed and honest and transparent it is. Great work. We need more of this 💖
can you elaborate more on shaving the peach fuzz, bcs it's something that makes me scared that if i shave it i may get facial hair
Yay, this reminds me of your old videos. Really helpful :) you have such a good intuition for contrast etc.!
I absolutely love this video! Your tips are doable and dont cost too much for the average person to add to their beauty routine :)) I also really appreciate that your „beauty hacks“ are very thoughtful and not just a repetition of current trends! Also Id love a video about shaving ones face at home :))
aww honey please don't touch your beautiful face anymore! I used to watch your videos all the time when I was in uni 4-5 years ago - you're a force to be reckoned with! you are so naturally beautiful. please don't be afraid to ask for help
I’ve been watching your videos since I was in middle school 🙇🏻♀️ now I will graduate from college 🥹💞 I’m very grateful for your advices throughout the years 💞
I love that loreal lipstick color! What shade is that?
Thank you for posting! I love your videos 😍 i was rewarching some of the old vids and i especially loved all your 'dress better' / "hair secrets" type videos. I am being pushy but have video requests if you ever need ideas.
- sorting through currently owned clothes - how do I know when an item has run it's course in my closet? How do I tell based on my current clothes what else I need?
- how u decide what you need clothing-wise / cosmetics wise (making a shopping list, what is just a current want vs something that will enrich my wardrobe)
- shop with me (talk through what goes through ur head when u r shopping or online shopping)
- how to try on clothes (what to look for fit-wise, how to see if it suits your wardrobe)
- basic but a "what's in my bag" lol.
What a beautiful comment thank you for your love and also for helping me with such detailed requests!!!

i love how mathematical you think about makeup and fashion. this way all of the suggestions you make are actually doable for everyone!
your tips are always always one of a kind! you have a really intricate understanding of aesthetics... thank you ! 💘
Leave that
Then spritz Mac fix plus or Charlotte tilbury setting spray.
I’ve tried it all. I get so many compliments and it wears very nicely in the day . Hope this helps u
This was sooooo helpful! Thank you!
Wayne Goss' tip of finishing your applications with downward strokes does the trick for me as far as not highlighting my peach fuzz, but I really love the voluminous hair tip. So that's what was wrong with those looks!!
Also knowing your skin tone and face shape has helped me a lot choosing the right colors and makeup placements
Omg I haven’t watched in a while ! Your face changed 😮😮😮😮😮😮
Excellent video, Alexandra! So informative. The eye makeup/hair combination was so eye-opening (pun intended, lol)! Love this format :)
